Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Council of the City of Sydney

Great place, Damian and co were very helpful in helping us check in were very accommodating with extra requests we had. Our group had a great stay, would definitely stay again.

Great location in a quaint town house. Some of the best restaurants and cafes are right around the corner. A short 20 /30 min walk to QVB, The Rocks, Botanical Garden, Sydney Opera House. The Big Bus Tour stop is just 15 mins away in Central Station. We only took an Uber a couple of times. Will definitely rent again.

This home is such a gem! Stylish, comfortable, so well appointed, it was great fun to spend time here. Justine is so responsive and accessible. The location is fantastic, so many wonderful shops, restaurants, and parks nearby.

Rob and Amy were amazing hosts. They were flexible with my check in time, which I really appreciated. The house is super cool. It is stocked with everything you need and is in a great location. Recommend !

This is a hidden gem. We will definitely stay here again. Just 4 minutes by ferry to the centre of the city but felt like we were another world away as it was so quiet. Jillian was great to deal with. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house and enjoyed the proximity to the area and beautiful courtyard garden. Kristina was very helpful with ideas of where to eat and visit. It’s also accessible to bus and trains to the city. Her decor was welcoming and it felt like home.

The most ideal Redfern stay - the house is so well equipped and so comfortable. Best location too - close to absolutely everything. Will definitely keep it on our short list of Sydney stays. Thank you for having us!

This property is truly something incredibly special, and in the best location! Just off Crown Street, 2.5 mins walk from fresh croissants/coffee/juice/granola yogurt for your bekkie. At one end of Crown St is Oxford St, the Anzac Memorial/Hyde Park, Aus Museum, Art gallery, St Mary’s Cathedral. But also a buzzing nightlife with LGBTQIA+ bars, hotels and clubs. If Church on a Sunday is more your thing you are only 9mins walk from Vine Church Sydney (with breakfast provided and Sunday school for the kids). Conveniently at the other end of Crown Street is a large Coles supermarket. Don’t think you are being fooled by the advert, this property looks exactly like it does in the pictures! The team who look after it are very proactive and answered all my questions (even when I was still in the uk and the hours weren’t complimentary) Due to the age of the property there was some noise from the neighbours, and no doubt they could hear us too. But everyone was respectful & understanding

It was so great memories in Sydney because I got this Airbnb. location, cleaning, interior is perfect.

This is a lovely apartment, and easy to access. Elizabeth was there to meet me when I arrived, and ensured that everything was properly prepared. Although only the main bedroom had airconditioning, the entire apartment maintained a comfortable temperature, even on very hot days. It is in a quiet neighbourhood, within easy walking distance to the SCG, Centennial park, and numerous restaurants. Security parking was also provided.

I used it as a base for sightseeing in Sydney. It was a time to stay with the kindness of the host. I'd love to stay again when I visit Sydney.

This place is as what it is described. It is close to Tramsheds (with nice restaurants). I just wanted to point out that the building is on a steep road so it is advisable to stop at the back street if you are carrying luggage.

As noted by others, Silvia's place is conveniently located within easy walking distance of many of Sydney's iconic attractions, and Wynyard Station is only a few minutes walk away if one wants to explore the city further. We found the place to be very cosy and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay of two nights. Having two toilets for a two-bedroom unit was a bonus. If the double doors to the balcony are kept closed at night there is very little noise from the busy street below. Some of the problems noted by others, e.g., problems with the lifts and with the air conditioners in the bedrooms, have been rectified. Silvia is a very responsive and helpful host to the extent of immediately refunding $10.00 when we let her know that the cleaner had failed to leave tea and coffee in the kitchen. We thoroughly recommend Silvia's place and will be happy to stay again.

This place is magical. We returned a second year in a row and this time was even better. If you want to get off the grid and forget Covid, masks and all the stresses of life, the Villa doesn’t disappoint!

We had such a great stay! The location is perfect, only a few minutes walk to the beach and you can watch sunrise over the ocean in bed :) The house was so comfortable and stylish, lots of art deco character. We would 100% stay again!

We stayed at Nicola’s place for five nights and we had the best time. The area is so peaceful and beautiful and it was the absolute best kitted out Airbnb. Everything we could have wanted was provided. We made use of all the beach gear everyday - snorkels, paddle boards, fishing rods you name it! It was also easy to feed 9 of us as the kitchen and bbq area was so well set up. It was also terrific for the kids as there were so many games and activities for them to do thanks to Nicole and David. We will definitely be back and recommending this gem to our friends and family.

What a beautiful, peaceful place that had all the necessary amenities a 2 min walk from the spectacular pearl beach. It was perfect & Carla and Chloe were great hosts and were very generous to give us a late check out on Sunday. The spa is pretty special although a bit finicky if you don’t know how to use it - thankfully our hosts were very responsive in helping with this. My only note is to maybe make sure if you need more linen/towels than what they provide for the 4 doubles and one single bed (9 people). We booked the house for 11 (there is a room with fold out couches) but those 2 guests didn’t get towels or linen. Final thing is the property has close neighbours so there are a lot of rules to do with noise etc. This makes sense as I assume the hosts have been burned before and must protect their relationship with the local community but if you want somewhere you can feel free to sing your heart out around the fire pit until the wee hours go elsewhere. Thanks for everything!

A wonderful spot for our extended family getaway in beautiful Pearl Beach. The Pavilions is 5 stars all the way - beautiful location, super comfortable, squeaky clean and everything you need at your fingertips, including a brilliant kitchen for cooking and entertaining. We lazed by the open fire by night, and spent our days lying in the winter sun on the deck and north facing backyard. It’s a short stroll to the beach and many other beautiful walking spots and scenic vantage points too. Highly recommend.
