Cottage vacation rentals in Cottage Grove

We loved our stay! Luke was a very responsive host. The cottage was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we loved having access to a hot tub and sauna. They anticipated anything we would’ve wanted during our stay (coffee, tea, extra towels for the hot tub) and provided clear instructions and recommendations. I would stay here again, and I would recommend this place to others looking to stay somewhere peaceful yet still near everything.

beautiful home to stay in, better than the pictures suggested. very cozy and a great place to relax after exploring Minnesota. the hot tub is a wonderful addition, and I highly recommend walking down and watching the sunrise in the morning.

This cottage is absolutely gorgeous!! It has so much to offer with a beautiful view on the lake, a hot tub, a fire pit area, a beautiful walking trail, and so much more! It was the perfect place to celebrate a bachelorette weekend and so many amazing memories were made here. The host was very helpful and always answered any questions. The house was stocked with lots of cooking supplies and cleaning products that made it easy to stay there. I hope to be able to come back to this cottage in the future because it was the best weekend!!

We had 7 girls stay here for a bachelorette weekend getaway and we LOVED it! The house is so full of historic charm while still offering a fully modernized kitchen, bathrooms and entertainment systems. We loved being far enough away from the busy downtown Stillwater scene to enjoy a little sanctuary time, but also being close enough to either drive or walk (about 20 minutes walking) to get downtown to all the fun shops and restaurants of DT Stillwater.

The hosts, Katie and Curt, were very friendly and responsive. The hot tub on the patio was a big bonus. I also enjoyed relaxing in the hammock and watching the trolley go by through the woods ($3 to take the short historic ride). And just a few minutes to walk to Lake Harriet pavilion to take in some live music or walk around the lake. I’m excited to come back sometime for this relaxing get-away!

Nathan’s place was great! It’s walkable to downtown Stillwater, and the home itself is funky and fun. Nathan was a kind and responsive host, and he accommodated our needs well. Definitely worth the stay. Thank you!

Great space for an extended family stay. Enjoyed the great patio spaces, beautiful lake with kayak, well appointed kitchen, and large dining table and living room. Main floor was very accessible for family with a walker and they were able to navigate the few steps to the main patio too, but would be nice to have the main bathroom shower upgraded some day to be a more accessible walk in shower (there is a walk in shower upstairs). Host/brother very responsive to a few questions that came up.

Very cute interior; lots of extra supplies in case we forgot anything. Loved the bathroom!! Quiet; beds were comfortable & nice to have 2 TV’s as my husband & I have different tastes. The only tiny negative is the yard - not really any grassy area for our little dog, but she didn’t mind walking down the block.

This location is so quiet and peaceful. A beautiful farm house in the country that is within walking distance of the main part of town. We loved the proximity to Northfield, MN and loved they had a trail connecting the two towns. Go visit Martha’s for baked goods or Chapel Brewing in town.

Absolutely fantastic. This house is in a real (and lovely) neighborhood, with real people who live there, which makes the house amazing for visitors. Close to everything, easily accessible, and great communication.

This cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s located on a quiet street yet convenient to shopping. The kitchen and bath are fully stocked and it’s all very clean. We are already planning to come back.

A lovely, comfortable and well-appointed place in a great neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to make many meals there. The neighborhood is so walkable to many great places! Would definitely stay here again!

What a charming, cozy and spotless cottage in a very private setting! The description was on point! Very quiet, wonderful neighbors and accessible to parks, restaurants, shopping, etc. Communication with the host was excellent with any concerns! She was lovely to chat with. Walking into this adorable cottage and being welcomed by a most pleasant scent and soft music in the background was the beginning of a perfect long weekend at Matthew's place. This home is absolutely immaculate and so comfortable. Actually this is the nicest home we've stayed in with Airbnb. The personal touches are evident in every room and very much appreciated! We visit our son in North Hudson a couple of times a year and this will definitely be our 'go to' place when planning our trips. Trust me, you won't be disappointed staying in Matthew's cottage.

Stayed here before! Amazing as usual. Travel quite a bit so it being close the airport is clutch! Won’t be disappointed

We have stayed at Little House several times before and it is always a wonderful experience. I would say it's our favorite Airbnb location in the Twin Cities and if it's available to book, we always do!

Thank you Jill and Gary for trusting us in your home. Everything was as advertised. No surprises. Their home was clean and comfortable. A nice value and pet friendly was important to us because we were in the area for a dog sports event. The beach theme was fun and we walked to the beach from their home on a beautiful day. We will recommend Jill and Gary's home to friends!

The place was just what it said it was. It was clean, she had fun snacks and drinks for us. Every thing you need is right there and more. She communicated well with me. It was so easy to check in and out. Love it and highly recommend for girls get away.
