pPerfecta ubicacion, la cabaña esta muy cerca del mar y playa negra es hermosa. cerca de Puerto Viejo. 20 min caminando para ir a cenar o desayunar. La caminata de dia por la playa es hermosa. Alojamiento privado y para descanso fenomenal.

Amazing!! Great location in a beautiful place. Stunning stay. It was so amazing to hear the sounds of the jungle while being in the villa. Nice bathroom and comfortable bed. Few ants located inside. Would 1000% recommend staying here!

Very serene, well landscaped place. It hardly feels like the main road is adjacent. Lots of birds and creek/insect noise keep it feeling rustic and private. David was always super responsive, proactive, and helpful. Would stay again!

This was a magical place to stay! Since it was located in the middle of the forest, we were able to see Toucans and many birds from the balcony. The place was spacious and clean. This is more of a primitive airbnb, meaning there is no A/C and you may see a few bugs, but I feel like that’s expected in the cloud forest. We had an amazing time and would recommend this for anyone visiting the area.

What an absolutely beautiful place to stay! This house is tucked in the jungle with loads of wildlife all around. There are other houses on the property, but they have preserved the gardens and jungle in such a fabulous way that you can’t even see any of the other houses. Felt super private. The plunge pool was absolutely delightful after we returned to the house. There are so many things close by, we especially love La Leyenda pizza restaurant. Which is just a short ride down the street in Playa Chiquita. Tine got back to me very quickly after each text I sent her. We will definitely stay here again!

Staying at this cozy cabin in Jacó was an unforgettable experience. Nestled in the lush greenery, the property is incredibly peaceful—perfect for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature. Every morning, we woke up to the soothing sounds of birds, a welcoming sunrise, and the occasional distant monkey call. The cabin itself is beautifully designed and full of charm. You can tell the host has put a lot of thought and care into making it feel both rustic and comfortable. The entire property is well maintained and full of tropical beauty. Just be aware that there isn’t any hot water and as mentioned, having a 4x4 is a must! Our host was amazing—so friendly and welcoming, and always extremely responsive to any questions or needs we had during our stay. It made the experience even more enjoyable knowing we were in such good hands. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, but still close enough to enjoy the beach and restaurants in Jacó, this is perfect.

The tree house was everything I would expect from Costa Rica, no detail was spared. This was an ethereal place that was a perfect distance between both montezuma and Santa Teresa. It was easy to get into town, but also beautiful enough to spend the evening in—watching the storms! When I make my way back to the Nicoya peninsula I will 100% come back to this place

Our stay was amazing! Definitely outdoor oriented, beautiful property. It does get fairly hot during the day with the sun coming through the windows. No problem though considering there is a private pool to cool off! The property has a gate which helped with feeling secure. Each bedroom door had a keypad lock. We could not get the projector to work unfortunately and the main folding door was broken. However the wifi had excellent connection for the laptops and phones. The tenant was very polite and asked for permission before entering the property. The roads leading to the property are not paved, we rented a Bronco Sport and it handled the muddy roads well. Gladys was easy to get ahold of and was very accommodating with our early check in. The bugs can get a bit overwhelming but a small price to pay to be connected with nature! Would definitely stay here again!! The house was equipped with plenty of cooking utensils, tea bags, coffee, some spices, and a google speaker.

Staying at the tree house was definitely the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. If I could give it 10 stars I would. It was such a unique place to stay at, to take in the beauty of Monteverde. The home was comfortable, peaceful and exactly as pictured. We loved walking the trails on the reserve and into town. My only regret was that we weren’t able to stay longer.

Was soll ich sage? Es war einfach perfekt. Die Unterkunft ist wirklich sehr schön und erholsam. Man hat gleich nebenan einen Abschnitt des Playa Negra, wo der Strand fast immer so gut wie menschenleer ist. Silvia, die die Unterkunft vor Ort betreut, ist sehr hilfsbereit, immer gut zu erreichen, sehr nett und hat stets gute Tipps für Unternehmungen und aktuelle Events aus der Region parat. Ich konnte auch ihr Fahrrad nutzen, was wirklich hilfreich ist, um in das Stadtzentrum zu fahren etc. Kurz um, der perfekte Karibiktraum.

Wir haben die Zeit in dem Airbnb sehr genossen. Raquel und ihr Mann waren super lieb und freundlich und haben uns Tipps gegeben was wir in der Umgebung machen können. Die Strände in der Nähe waren sehr schön und ruhig. Das Tiny House war richtig toll und man hatte eine super Aussicht. Das Haus was liebevoll eingerichtet und gemütlich. Uns war es nur ein bisschen zu warm beim schlafen ohne Klimaanlage, aber sonst war alles perfekt.

We loved the tiny house! Perfect for our last night in Costa Rica and wish we could have stayed longer. Great view, peaceful setting, very comfortable bedding, nice bathroom and shower, thoughtful amenities. Marco the groundskeeper was super friendly, helpful and kind. Even though our Spanish was only moderate we had no problems. He gave us a ride to town and back for dinner and took us to the airport the next day. Ciudad Colon was nice, I'd skip San Jose and stay there any day. Good places to eat once you get into town (not walkable from the Airbnb though).

We had a blast at Ricky & Lori’s! Ricky was a friendly host! Perfect location in Puerto Viejo, close to all the beaches and restaurants, but tucked away enough to feel like you are in the jungle. Thank you Ricky and Lori!

Het enige dat ik als lastig kan noemen is dat niet overal in Costa Rica nu eenmaal internet is. ik miste daarom de afbeeldingen die Juan stuurde. maar goed, ik ben er gekomen en het was een heel fijne avond en nacht Juan heeft me enorm geholpen bij het krijgen van eten ( bestellen ging goed, maar de bezorger kon het huis niet vinden en zijn Engels en mijn Spaans waren niet goed genoeg om dat op te lossen. een fijne Host, een prachtig huis. aanbevolen.

We hebben een fantastische overnachting gehad. We werden vriendelijk ge woord gestaan door Jonathan zijn vrouw, Chantelle. Ze vertelde ons belangrijke informatie en daarna konden wij ons installeren. De badkamer is heel mooi, zelfs nog mooier als op de foto's. Vanaf het balkon konden we verschillende dieren spotten wat het heel bijzonder maakte. Al met al, echt genoten.

We absolutely loved staying at this gem of a home! It really felt like a “get away” vacation: surrounded by the natural beauty of Costa Rica, trees, wildlife, views of the ocean… Pura Vida! I was joined by my husband and three kids ages 6, 7, and 9. We were all able to disconnect and enjoy the start of an unforgettable vacation. We all loved going on the porch to search for monkeys, relax in the pool after a day of adventuring, and having access to a washer/dryer was such a great perk after all of the activities. Certainly looking forward to staying here again.

We’ve stayed with Jessica a few times in the past and this time did not disappoint, as usual! The place was spotless upon arrival and really comfortable. The view from the deck is even better than what can be captured by the photos. It’s the busiest time of year in ST and Jessica’s place is so close to town and yet very quiet, away from the noise and dust. Atv recommended to get up the hill, as the listing says. Host is super responsive and can hook you up with atv rentals, etc! Thanks for another amazing stay!

Nice secluded spot up on the mountain, good location if you’re looking for a true off grid experience. Very accurate to the listing, and the message sent of warnings of it being a jungle experience with bugs and a hike to get to. Definitely wouldn’t recommend trying to lug a suitcase or a lot of goods up to the treehouse. We did a river hike from the base camp with waterfalls and swimming pools that was the highlight of our two week trip. It’s an interesting place you’d be hard pressed to match elsewhere. Only negatives aren’t on the host or the property, if members of your group struggle with terrain they may have difficulty reaching the house. A decent 4x4 is also required to climb the hill as others have noted. We did see monkeys, snakes, and a ton of different birds. I would recommend to any adventure seekers.

Une nuit très agréable passée dans cette maison dans l'arbre. Le logement est très propre et dispose de tout le matériel nécessaire. Nous avons été bercés par le bruit des vagues et des animaux. Le logement est très bien situé, à 2 minutes à pied de la plage. Restaurants et supérettes à proximité. Nous ne pouvons que vous recommander ce logement.

This was hands down the best Airbnb I've ever stayed at. The location is very private and so peaceful to wake up to. The minimalist design coupled with all of the amenities you could need made this place unforgettable. Things are stored in the cupboards and drawers you expect them to be in, which is an Airbnb first. The pots, pans and utensils were all in great condition and very useful. If you're looking for privacy, peace and luxury, you can't find a better place.
