Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Coronado Island

We had a fantastic stay at this Ocean Beach home. The location is absolutely perfect, just a couple of blocks from the beach and within easy walking distance to great restaurants, coffee shops, and local shopping. We loved being able to explore the area on foot. Parking was super easy, which is a big plus in this neighborhood. The house itself was clean, comfortable, quiet, and just right for the two of us. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Aaron was a wonderful host, very welcoming and a great communicator throughout. We’d definitely stay here again.

This is the first time of this year we stayed at Shawn's house. Yes! We basically stay at Shawn's house 3 to 4 times per year, his house is in a very good location, few minutes drive to everything, nice yard for dogs, clean and comfortable living space. There's nothing we can complain about. We've booked another trip and can't wait to go there again.

Brent’s place was amazing and I would definitely stay there again! It’s in a great location close to lots of restaurants in South Park and my favorite coffee shop Santos coffee :) Their home was beautiful inside and out with a great yard space for the doggies!

Stay at Katri’s was great. Had delicious cookies waiting for us when we checked in, which was a breeze. House was spacious and entire lot was very big. Pool was great and even after we had told them that no heated pool would be necessary, Mother Nature had a different idea and gave us some more than unexpected chilly weather, so they had no problem throwing the heater on for us. Freeway in the background was hardly a noise problem for us personally. Just far enough that it didn’t affect us, and was nice to see what our morning commute was going to be like. Brought two dogs with the group that absolutely loved everything (after one of them finally got over his fear of the staircase). All in all a great stay in a great neighborhood. Cant comment more how quickly they responded to us in the days leading up to the trip, and while we were there. Great hosts!

This Airbnb has everything that you could possibly need and while it is a studio, it's actually roomy. There's a large, very comfortable king-size bed, but it doesn't feel like it takes up a lot of space. The couch is a pull-out bed as well, and it’s long enough to for somebody that's 5'6” or smaller to be able to sleep on it. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need including ice cube trays and a light underneath the microwave. So, it feels homey. There's a bar that has five chairs facing the strandway where you can see the glimpses of the ocean. There are plenty of plugs for gadgets. There's a closet that has all kinds of linens. Anything you could possibly need from extra blankets to extra pillows, extra towels. In the kids' room, there are bunk beds that are large enough for an adult to sleep on the bottom (5’6” or shorter). The bathroom is has nice lighting and a window that opens up the street. The patio outside has plenty of space for two to three people to sit.

We loved our stay at Mari Katherine’s Airbnb for a girl’s weekend in SD! It is a beautiful home that was spacious and thoughtfully designed and decorated to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The home feels private, but was in a fantastic location in North Park that was easily walkable to coffee shops, restaurants, etc. Mari Katherine sent clear instructions leading up to our stay, so the logistics of check in were clear and easy! When some logistical challenges came up during our stay, Mari Katherine was very responsive (even late in the evening) and offered solutions - we would be thrilled to visit again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was great and had lots of accommodations. While the on-site parking was wonderful, it can be challenging to get into the spot when other cars are parked in the alley. Very pet friendly area for your furry friend.

It was wonderful. The views from the deck were amazing. Every bed was comfortable. I loved the bowl of gummy’s they had for us 😁. It’s was perfect for our family reunion everyone had privacy and the family room’s furniture was perfect to cozy up by the fire and watch tv. I loved the weather there. I opened up the windows and we had perfect weather so we never had to turn on the air conditioner. Kelly allowed us to put the cover over the pool and it warmed up the pool and the grandkids had a blast. We had multiple generations at home ( 4 generations from 85?to 1 yr old 😁) and everyone was happy. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy family together.

This was heaven on Earth! I will remember this stay for the rest of my life. The hosts are so generous, welcoming, and easy-going. We felt relaxed and free throughout our entire stay. They remembered my bday and hung a birthday banner in the living room! We brought our dog and they were SO chill about letting our sweet old doggy explore the grounds off leash and even accompany us up to the pool at the house! We had our 1.5yr old with us and made epic joyful memories as a family just enjoying the grounds for the weekend. This was the first time our daughter had ever seen a goat, a sheep, an alpaca, bunnies, or chickens in real life. Watching our toddler and our dog explore the animals side by side was my favorite thing I’ve experienced in life so far! It was so special watching my child soak it in, I can’t describe it. My family and I LOVE the Tipsy Goat Ranch and the amazing hosts. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

We loved staying at Wil’s place. The place was amazing, cozy and everything we wanted for our family. We loved the aesthetic, and the pool was so fun to play in. It was quiet but close to everything we wanted to do, so it was the perfect place to come back to after a long day out. The host and hostess were amazing, friendly and extremely helpful. We can’t wait to visit again.

We had a great stay at Tigg’s place. It was easy to get around, very walkable to get food or go to the beach. The studio had everything we needed. Would stay here again. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The location was stunning, with ocean views and the soothing sound of the waves—it was the perfect place to relax after a day out. There were several great restaurants within walking distance, and we loved being able to grab snacks from the nearby Oxxo, just a short 5-minute walk away. The host was very accommodating, allowing us an early check-in, which we really appreciated. Security at the front was helpful and friendly—they assigned us a parking space and made it easy to find the building. We did experience a couple of minor issues: the shower wasn’t draining properly, and on the third day, the door wouldn't lock. The host responded quickly to our messages, but unfortunately, no one showed up after we waited about an hour. However, the issue was resolved while we were out, so everything was fine when we returned. Despite those small hiccups, we had a lovely time and would definitely consider staying here again. The house is beautiful! The property is even better in person. The house is set up great has everything you need. The backyard is huge and beautiful. Great space to relax and spend most of your time. The host was very attentive and reached out everyday to see if we needed anything. Great property for a big group.

The place was clean and well-kept. The 5 rooms had comfortable beds and individual A/C units, adding to the comfort. The backyard was great for hosting. The only minor criticism was the lack of instructions for the fire pit. I managed to turn it on successfully; it produced a strong fire, perfect for cozy nights. There was adequate seating for everyone. Inside, the house felt clean, including the bathrooms. The living room had a large couch and the dining area had a large table, accommodating our group's size. A small improvement would be to hang the towels in the bathrooms to avoid a scavenger hunt. The wifi was down upon arrival and never regained function despite troubleshooting, but my cellular service (T-mobile) was sufficient. The host was very communicative and responsive throughout my stay. I didn’t receive dining recommendations, but it was easy to find places to eat.

WOW is what I’ll start with. A great place to stay fairly close to San Diego downtown area about 15-20 min drive. Devo’s place was as described it was well stocked and we have had a great greeting with beautifully scented candles and the temperature set as it was a fairly cool day. I asked Devo a few questions and she responded and was upfront and honest.

Beautiful rental. The sunset views were spectacular. Would definitely stay there again. We didn’t want to leave!

We had a wonderful stay. The place was very clean and comfortable. The location was great. It was very close to the beach and it was very peaceful throughout the day and night. We would definitely like to come back someday.

Georgie’s airbnb is beautiful and in a great location in Ocean Beach. There’s plenty to do nearby and easy to walk to. We had some trouble sleeping due to noise from airplanes, but this has less to do with Georgie’s Airbnb specifically and more to do with the proximity to the airport.

Through over a decade of Airbnb experiences, spanning the globe several times over; this was our favorite stay. The pictures perfectly illustrate the space and check-in was an absolute breeze with numerous videos, pictures, and written instructions detailing what to do. Our host was proactively communicative and made it clear that their only goal was for us to have a great time. We found the space to be perfect for our young family, with numerous toys and a beautiful wooden crib. All of the appliances in the kitchen were clean, high end, and perfectly functional along with the outdoor grill. The Del is a 5-6 minute walk, Vons is a 5-6 minute walk along with Starbucks. Couldn’t have been a more private but in the center of everything location. We felt very safe in the late evenings and were never woken up by noise, regardless of the popular surroundings. Absolutely incredible stay - we didn’t want to leave.

This air b and b was one of the best I have ever stayed at! The owner was great and very clear in communications. The house has everything we needed. The beach down the street was amazing! We loved walking to beautiful down LaJolla. Parking outside the home was super easy! I can’t say enough great things. If we are ever back in LJ, this would be our 1st choice of places to stay!

Mission Beach was a great destination for a long weekend, and the home was perfect. The owners were very responsive, offering lots of good local recommendations and communicating with us during our stay to ensure we had a great weekend.
