Beachfront vacation rentals in Coronado Island

Property was as described. Host was very responsive and helped us get into house upon arrival. Place was clean, comfortable and pleasant. We enjoyed our short stay.

Location, location, location. Michael’s home is where you want to be. Less than a block to the bay and a short beautiful block to walk to the ocean. The beds were so comfortable after a long day at the beach. The showers were great and never ran out of hot water. As a family of six, we found the space spacious yet homey. It was our first time to San Diego and we hope to stay here again, hopefully for two weeks next time. Thank you, Michael!

A Perfect San Diego Coastal Getaway! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Carl's beach home in the Pacific/Mission Beach area, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charming beach cottage. The decor is super cute, combining cozy beach vibes with modern comforts, making it feel like a home away from home. The location couldn't be better! Just a short stroll from the beach, we enjoyed daily walks along the shore and stunning sunsets. The nearby restaurants and shops added to the convenience, making it easy to explore the local scene. Carl was an exceptional host, providing us with all the information we needed for a smooth stay. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. If you're looking for a perfect beach getaway, I highly recommend Carl’s beach home. Had a local stay here at Chung's home and definitely met all my expectations. Able to have my wife have her birthday getaway with family and of course the grandkids. Only caveat is having to leave. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

This Airbnb has everything that you could possibly need and while it is a studio, it's actually roomy. There's a large, very comfortable king-size bed, but it doesn't feel like it takes up a lot of space. The couch is a pull-out bed as well, and it’s long enough to for somebody that's 5'6” or smaller to be able to sleep on it. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need including ice cube trays and a light underneath the microwave. So, it feels homey. There's a bar that has five chairs facing the strandway where you can see the glimpses of the ocean. There are plenty of plugs for gadgets. There's a closet that has all kinds of linens. Anything you could possibly need from extra blankets to extra pillows, extra towels. In the kids' room, there are bunk beds that are large enough for an adult to sleep on the bottom (5’6” or shorter). The bathroom is has nice lighting and a window that opens up the street. The patio outside has plenty of space for two to three people to sit.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The location was stunning, with ocean views and the soothing sound of the waves—it was the perfect place to relax after a day out. There were several great restaurants within walking distance, and we loved being able to grab snacks from the nearby Oxxo, just a short 5-minute walk away. The host was very accommodating, allowing us an early check-in, which we really appreciated. Security at the front was helpful and friendly—they assigned us a parking space and made it easy to find the building. We did experience a couple of minor issues: the shower wasn’t draining properly, and on the third day, the door wouldn't lock. The host responded quickly to our messages, but unfortunately, no one showed up after we waited about an hour. However, the issue was resolved while we were out, so everything was fine when we returned. Despite those small hiccups, we had a lovely time and would definitely consider staying here again. The host communicated well with us and got us where we needed to be going. their response time was amazing, we appreciate that. We will come back again next time we are visiting my dad. The apartment was so close to all the restaurants and easy to get to anywhere within around 15 minutes drive. Tina was an amazing host and on hand to answer any questions.

Awesome place on the beach! Being able to open the screen doors to feel the breeze and hear the ocean made us excited to come back from exploring the area. Easy to get to the car in/out when needed. Beach access directly at the bottom of the apartment, using all the provided beach accessories Nick provided in the well equipped apartment. Plenty of bars and restaurants walkable, or even stores to grab a bottle of wine to stay in. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I would definitely book again for our next San Diego trip.

Very beautiful location. Parking garage is in the same building but towards the back side, which was hard to understand at first. Other than that, the airbnb was very comfortable and clean. Host is very responsive and knowledgeable about area. Cute decor and it had almost everything we needed. Will book again from host.

I can’t say enough great things about Daniel’s place! Firstly, LOCATION, very walkable to literally everything you need and the view from the balcony was incredible. Being steps from the beach was so convenient. He provided everything like beach chairs, towels and wave boards that we used. Daniel was very communicative about instructions and even communicated we could check in early if we would have liked. The bed was super comfy and you can’t hear any neighbors. We hated leaving because we could have stayed there much longer! My fiance and I are already in talks of booking this location again soon for another vacation because we felt right at home!

Georgie’s airbnb is beautiful and in a great location in Ocean Beach. There’s plenty to do nearby and easy to walk to. We had some trouble sleeping due to noise from airplanes, but this has less to do with Georgie’s Airbnb specifically and more to do with the proximity to the airport.

We loved our stay at Hans’ place in Ocean Beach. Hans was super responsive and sent us great instructions for arrival and departure. The house was just as we expected from the listing. You couldn’t get a better location if you are wanting to spend a lot of time at the beach and walk to local restaurants. It was also super quick to get to the zoo. My kids loved the sand toys that were at the listing! The air traffic in Ocean Beach is definitely no joke, but it does stop at night and with the sound machines we brought, it did not wake us up when it started back up in the morning. We would definitely stay here again!

Through over a decade of Airbnb experiences, spanning the globe several times over; this was our favorite stay. The pictures perfectly illustrate the space and check-in was an absolute breeze with numerous videos, pictures, and written instructions detailing what to do. Our host was proactively communicative and made it clear that their only goal was for us to have a great time. We found the space to be perfect for our young family, with numerous toys and a beautiful wooden crib. All of the appliances in the kitchen were clean, high end, and perfectly functional along with the outdoor grill. The Del is a 5-6 minute walk, Vons is a 5-6 minute walk along with Starbucks. Couldn’t have been a more private but in the center of everything location. We felt very safe in the late evenings and were never woken up by noise, regardless of the popular surroundings. Absolutely incredible stay - we didn’t want to leave.

Casa de Las Olas is an absolute gem. It has nine skylights offering abundant light, views of the ocean so close you can see seals playing in the waves, and a sanctuary of home in an otherwise bustling coastal town. The location is phenomenal, along the coastal walk area of San Diego-La Jolla Underwater Park and Ecological Reserve, with equal distance to wildlife sightings, dining, art galleries, and shops. Additional highlights include dual shower heads, a fireplace to warm the cooler coastal evenings and mornings, elevated ceilings, and all the unique character of a renovated cottage. It is the perfect size and location for solo travelers such as myself.

This IS the place to stay on Mission Beach. We have rented quite a few places there over the years and this one was THE BEST! Perfect location, beautiful interior, clean, modern, convenient. We will definitely be back and will recommend to other Zonies!

First and foremost thank you for the hosts for the local suggestions and most importantly the hospitality into their home. Being able to stay in a peaceful and mellow area while being able to be so close to the waves of the ocean was one of the best experiences. Not only is it surrounded by good food but also by amazing experiences that the person has to look for. Overall a 10/10 experience and I would recommend. One of the only exceptions would be the parking situation but it’s understandable for the capacity of the neighborhood surroundings.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The location is absolutely perfect—right on Mission Beach with beautiful views and just steps from the sand. The home itself was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with multiple balconies and a front deck that made relaxing easy and enjoyable. The hot tub was a great bonus—nice, clean, and perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The garage was definitely a tight squeeze, but our car fit. The home was well-stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We did have an issue with the fridge and freezer not cooling properly, but the host responded quickly and sent someone right away to repair, which we really appreciated.
