A Perfect San Diego Coastal Getaway! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Carl's beach home in the Pacific/Mission Beach area, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charming beach cottage. The decor is super cute, combining cozy beach vibes with modern comforts, making it feel like a home away from home. The location couldn't be better! Just a short stroll from the beach, we enjoyed daily walks along the shore and stunning sunsets. The nearby restaurants and shops added to the convenience, making it easy to explore the local scene. Carl was an exceptional host, providing us with all the information we needed for a smooth stay. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. If you're looking for a perfect beach getaway, I highly recommend Carl’s beach home. This Airbnb has everything that you could possibly need and while it is a studio, it's actually roomy. There's a large, very comfortable king-size bed, but it doesn't feel like it takes up a lot of space. The couch is a pull-out bed as well, and it’s long enough to for somebody that's 5'6” or smaller to be able to sleep on it. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need including ice cube trays and a light underneath the microwave. So, it feels homey. There's a bar that has five chairs facing the strandway where you can see the glimpses of the ocean. There are plenty of plugs for gadgets. There's a closet that has all kinds of linens. Anything you could possibly need from extra blankets to extra pillows, extra towels. In the kids' room, there are bunk beds that are large enough for an adult to sleep on the bottom (5’6” or shorter). The bathroom is has nice lighting and a window that opens up the street. The patio outside has plenty of space for two to three people to sit.

Our family had a wonderful family beach vacation in La Jolla. Niloofar’s flat was clean and exactly as described. Great restaurants and shops within walking distance, and, of course, La Jolla Shores Beach is amazing and super close. I don’t think we could’ve even found a parking spot as close! Wonderful accommodations overall, I feel like they thought of everything you could need. Clean and updated is a huge plus for us. We hope we can stay again soon!

We initially planned to stay in Leucadia for a week but decided to extend our stay for a full second week because we loved this place so much. The location is absolutely perfect. We walked to the Beacons beach to surf every day and had our pick of all the best restaurants on the 101 (highly recommend Birdseye Kitchen). The house itself is cozy and surprisingly private for a place on the 101. It helped to have laundry on site and Chris was responsive throughout our visit. The house isn't as well stocked as a lot of air bnbs (no wine glasses, coffee, ice cube trays, etc.) but you will probably want to eat out most of your stay anyway because there are so many great places within walking distance. We definitely plan to come back and highly recommend this charming little nook in Leucadia! Excellent cost for value.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The location was stunning, with ocean views and the soothing sound of the waves—it was the perfect place to relax after a day out. There were several great restaurants within walking distance, and we loved being able to grab snacks from the nearby Oxxo, just a short 5-minute walk away. The host was very accommodating, allowing us an early check-in, which we really appreciated. Security at the front was helpful and friendly—they assigned us a parking space and made it easy to find the building. We did experience a couple of minor issues: the shower wasn’t draining properly, and on the third day, the door wouldn't lock. The host responded quickly to our messages, but unfortunately, no one showed up after we waited about an hour. However, the issue was resolved while we were out, so everything was fine when we returned. Despite those small hiccups, we had a lovely time and would definitely consider staying here again. The place was very clean, easy to find, and in a great location. Host was always proactive and gave clear instructions for check in and check out.

We had a wonderful stay. We loved being a very short walk from the beach and only 15 minutes to the airport. The house was well-equipped and very clean. We appreciated having sufficient linens, beach accessories, and kitchen appliances, dishes and cookware. The kids loved the games and the boogie boards. The private patio and front deck were great spaces to dine and relax. The owner was very responsive and responded immediately to our messages. Next time, we will stay longer to explore the shops and restaurants nearby.

Nicholas’s apartment was the perfect find for my Southwrn California getaway. The apartment was spacious, clean and very comfortable, and the view of the ocean from the pool was just what I had hoped for! A perfect spot to relax during the day and watch the sunset in the evening. Great restaurants and shops in walking distance, free parking, gracious staff - all around perfect!

The apartment was so close to all the restaurants and easy to get to anywhere within around 15 minutes drive. Tina was an amazing host and on hand to answer any questions.

Such an amazing place! My husband and I have been meeting up with our friends for 6 years now and this is the first time a kid has joined us. My son loved the beach and it was so nice to be so close and to have our own space but to also be able to walk to restaurants and things around. Kiran was so kind and was able to answer any questions we had very quick. We’ve already talked about going again!!

Nick's place was perfect for a stay in SD right off the water. The pictures do the listing justice and my family had a great time. The condo was very clean and spacious. Nick was helpful and always communicating with us whenever we needed something. Highly recommend.

This is such a beautiful home that is very spacious and the best beach views. Look no further, you’ll fee right at home ! Imagine waking up to beach sounds or watching a sunset while relaxing in the jacuzzi. The host Dave, was very responsive and super nice! The house has everything you can think of! I can’t wait to book again in the future!

This was our second time staying at this home in San Antonio Del Mar w/our pup. Private safe gated community w/beach access. Only 10min drive to downtown Rosarito. Very spacious with an ocean view & jacuzzi. Joel is an excellent host! Definitely recommend & look forward to staying again!

Chris did a great job making sure we were able to enter and we were happy. The place was spotless, newly renovated with the latest designs and literally right on the beach and boardwalk with incredible views! I highly recommend the home and PB in general!!

great and friendly host. responded promptly. unit is cleaned and organized. location is few minutes walking distance from the beach ( almost like a private beach ) since it was located in the neighborhood. supermarket is on the Main Street and only a minute walk. Overall, would definitely book again in the future. couldn't ask for more .

Georgie’s airbnb is beautiful and in a great location in Ocean Beach. There’s plenty to do nearby and easy to walk to. We had some trouble sleeping due to noise from airplanes, but this has less to do with Georgie’s Airbnb specifically and more to do with the proximity to the airport.

My partner and I stayed here for 5 days , it was a great experience! The host was responsive and accommodating when a couple issues popped up. The apartment has everything you need for a pleasant stay.

Jasmines place is a gem! In a very peaceful area, beautiful view to walk out to every morning. The outside deck was a huge plus, very cozy. She not only gave us good food recommendations but was very flexible with our check out time. Would recommend to anyone!

Simon was a great host and provided more amenities than we thought! The decorations made the place feel warm and inviting. The walk to the beach was literally only a few minutes and we were able to walk to some restaurants and markets down the street easily. Overall I would highly recommend this place!

Through over a decade of Airbnb experiences, spanning the globe several times over; this was our favorite stay. The pictures perfectly illustrate the space and check-in was an absolute breeze with numerous videos, pictures, and written instructions detailing what to do. Our host was proactively communicative and made it clear that their only goal was for us to have a great time. We found the space to be perfect for our young family, with numerous toys and a beautiful wooden crib. All of the appliances in the kitchen were clean, high end, and perfectly functional along with the outdoor grill. The Del is a 5-6 minute walk, Vons is a 5-6 minute walk along with Starbucks. Couldn’t have been a more private but in the center of everything location. We felt very safe in the late evenings and were never woken up by noise, regardless of the popular surroundings. Absolutely incredible stay - we didn’t want to leave.

Casa de Las Olas is an absolute gem. It has nine skylights offering abundant light, views of the ocean so close you can see seals playing in the waves, and a sanctuary of home in an otherwise bustling coastal town. The location is phenomenal, along the coastal walk area of San Diego-La Jolla Underwater Park and Ecological Reserve, with equal distance to wildlife sightings, dining, art galleries, and shops. Additional highlights include dual shower heads, a fireplace to warm the cooler coastal evenings and mornings, elevated ceilings, and all the unique character of a renovated cottage. It is the perfect size and location for solo travelers such as myself.

Glenna and Bill were as wonderful as their home. Spacious 3br for the bayfront! Truly, on the water, and with four little kids it was so nice to have the beach out your front door. Their patio is also one of the best on the bay with ample space and seating. We enjoyed meals out there and sitting back in the rocking chairs after tucking the kids in.
