Great place to stay. Very central to a lot of different activities. A lot of restaurants and bars around the area! Would stay here again!

Amazing location if you love being in the heart of a city. Walk to get your coffee in the morning, your pastries, down to the water. Couldn’t get a better location for brunch, dinners and lunches out. So many amazing restaurants and cafes. DEFINITELY come so you can go to the San Diego farmers market on Saturday, it’s top tier. Her place is beautifully decorated, has the charm of the historic building but modern feel with decor. It’s floor to ceiling windows so if you need black out curtains, it won’t work for you but amazing if you love natural light. The kitchen isn’t as stocked with ingredients as some airbnbs are but this isn’t a must nor something a host needs to provide so hardly a detractor. While the parking is a walk, IT IS FREE!! and downtown free parking and amazing location are so hard to get! So the walk to the car isn’t bad. My husband would drop us off and go drop the car etc But honestly we walked mostly and didn’t our car for much.

Our stay in San Diego was great and Mark's place was good for 4 days. We really liked the prompt coms and the surroundings. Good location to get everywhere in San Diego.

This is our second time staying at this location, and we had just as great of an experience as the first time we were here! Stephanie and Nathan are great, responsive hosts. The loft itself was comfortable and clean, and the location is incredible. Plenty of restaurants and shops to explore near by and quick access to the highway. We hope to stay here again next time we’re in the area!

Where we stayed felt like a home; a home away from home. This place was located in one of the greatest spots of San Diego, every restaurant and place I wanted to go to was right around the corner! The place is breathtaking! Should be on DesignMilk or on a cover of some magazine! The host(s) we’re very kindhearted, helpful, and friendly! Would book again in a heartbeat

This is a perfect location in the heart of San Diego, great for walking around downtown/Gaslamp and within easy driving distance of the SD beaches. The amenities were amazing and we felt right at home during our stay. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to explore this lovely city!

The view was beautiful!! Close to soooo many amazing restaurants, would definitely stay here again, everything was perfect.

Enjoyable stay. We had an issue and the communication could have been better, but it certainly didn’t ruin our stay. Yes, there is street noise at night. You can hear the thumping club next door, but that should be expected in this vibrant area. Huge plus to have a kitchen so you don’t have to eat out for every meal (and a walkable .5 mile to Grocery Outlet). The large windows were awesome – people watching was entertaining any time of day. Also great to have a washer/dryer in the unit so my suitcase could be lighter. If you are able and like to walk, this location is perfect and you save a ton of money on Uber – bus stop to/from the airport is only a few blocks away. Restaurants, bars, and breweries nearby. Convention Center or Petco Park for a Padres game is only about .5 miles. Easy walk to the Bay to check out the ships or hop on the ferry to Coronado. Only about 1.5 miles to Balboa Park or 2.5ish to the San Diego Zoo. Overall, would definitely stay again!

Beautiful condo. lots of natural light. Very spacious. Walking distance to restraunts and shops. Laura was quick to respond to questions. Would stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Alex's! Both the kids and we had a blast with the arcade on the first floor, not to mention all the other great amenities. That queen bunk bed was a huge hit with the little ones! Plus, we really appreciated being so close to all the great restaurants, Balboa Park, the SD Zoo, and Coronado Beach. Thanks, Alex, for being a great host and very responsive and thorough with our check-in.

This loft was everything we needed for our trip. It was very walkable, parking wasn't too difficult, the place was clean and had everything we needed. I was initially concerned about the neighborhood, but it ended up being competely fine during the day.

Place was amazing and perfect. The whole experience was fantastic and communication was great and easy. Will be my go to when I’m back in town!

Great location, very close to the entire downtown walking distance. It feels safe to stay in this place, the well-kept car and pool gives a bonus to the stay. The room has the necessities, one large bed, internet and television. Alain always responding to messages.

I really enjoyed this place. Very close to Revolucion Avenue which is where I wanted to be. Drawback was the entry door. You have to use a key to lock/unlock a bolt lock. Saturday night was extremely loud due to concert Las Pulgas near by, Other than that, it was great. I loved the shower , A/C was great.
