The Back Forty Solar Cottage

Fernances Creek Farm is one hour north of Sydney in the picturesque Wollombi Valley. Ten minutes from Laguna with the Watagan Mountains and Yengo National Park on our doorstep. The Hunter Valley vineyards start here, with Broke & Pokolbin vineyards 45 minutes away. We are a Haflinger Horse stud on 210 acres, with show jumping and eventing facilities. Great for couples and families, the Back Forty Solar Cottage is a fully featured off grid solar home with all of the comforts and space to relax.

Waterfront Lakehouse with pool

Feel relaxed the moment you step through the front door. A stunning renovated and styled home right on the lake. The heart of your stay will be spent swimming in the pool, sitting by the fire-pit, playing outdoor games in the yard, playing pool and table tennis or sitting back with a glass of wine to relax and take in the lake view on the large balcony. During the day, explore the wonders of nature and go for a breathtaking bike ride around the lake or head to the beach 5 mins down the road.

Bucketty Bear Cottage

Sitting on top of the mountains at Bucketty, the cottage has expansive views over paddocks, with alpacas, and bushland. Situated approx. 10 mins drive west of Kulnura as you head towards the Hunter Valley. Large lawn to play ping pong, ball games and ride bikes. Excellent night darkness for star gazing and astrophotography. Relax on the deck and enjoy the great sunset views, birdlife and the kangaroo family (when they come to visit). Good base for wedding guests with 1 night stays welcome.

The Ranch on Lush Green Acres

The family will love this great space with lots of room to enjoy each other’s company. You can kick back and relax . Close to shops, Erina Fair 10 mins , Avoca 10 mins and Terrigal 15mins . The waterfront is a close walk. Kantara Chapel is just around the corner, close venue for bridal group/family. Bring the boat to fish the Brisbane waters or take in many board walks and national parks in the area. We are onsite sometimes during the year in granny flat dependent on season and our travels.
