We stayed at Alessandro’s house for two weeks and we loved it! The house is warm (huiselijk) and cosy. It is a home away from home. Spacious, clean, comfortable. You will find everything you need. Alessandro is very kind and responsive. We could tell he takes great care of the house and its surroundings. Grazie Alessandro! It is 15 minutes from the city walls by car. 10 minutes to the supermarkets. My husband and son did lot’s of cycling, the house is a great start for different rides 👌🏻 We would recommend it to everyone who wants to stay close to Lucca, but likes quiet and nature.

What a beautiful accommodation in the tuscan countryside! We stayed here as a family of four and enjoyed Irenes wonderful house and garden. By car you can reach Lucca or the beach easily. Be aware of the steep dirt road leading to the house - an appropriate car is needed. We hope to be back soon - thank you, Irene!

We had the pleasure of staying only one day and one night at Joanna's, as they had planned excursions to the Apuan Alps! I state that we know the area very well as well as the town of Casoli and its inhabitants, we were looking for a moment of preparation/break and the apartment was ideal for our purpose. It is a typical mountain house but modernized and really impeccably maintained, spread over 3 floors with a breathtaking view from the window of the master bedroom! All the amenities described were present and the parking area very convenient (parking along the road 50 meters from the center). I also want to clarify that despite being 8 months pregnant, I had no difficulty moving around! We will definitely be back next year in 3, for those who want to take a few days immersed in the greenery of these wonderful lands I would say highly recommended stay!!!

Beautiful place! Peace and quiet! Don't be surprised there's no air conditioning. The house is isolated and has thick walls. At 35 degrees, we didn't need air conditioning. Her relatives live in the house next door and always help! There's a beautiful garden with fireflies and geckos!There are insect nets😁 everywhere. The road to the apartment has many turns, but it is also very beautiful. Only six kilometers from the highway. 20 km from the beach. There are shops nearby (5-6km). Gas stations on every corner. We highly recommend it. Vodafone's range is not very good, but there is a router in the apartment. With two bathrooms and two toilets! Clean and tidy! Our family is very happy! I highly recommend it! We spent two beautiful nights in this beautiful house with the crackling wood of the fireplaces, immersed in a fantastic place. Roberta was very responsive and quick to communicate, check-in was very easy with the key in the lockbox and the house exactly matches the description and photos. All rooms and bathrooms are very clean, tidy and cozy. The pellet stove and electric radiators in the rooms gave an extra touch of warmth, but the two fireplaces were already more than enough to heat the entire ground floor. The kitchen is very equipped with utensils and dishes and the cellar is full of wood ready for fireplaces! Campolemisi is a very quiet village, characteristic and immersed in the beautiful nature of Garfagnana. Thank you very much Roberta, we felt right at home... We hope to be back soon!

We had the best time in this little paradise! You definitely need a car to get around, as the village is up in the mountain and a little further from shops/bars/restaurants. But we knew that beforehand and the casa served as a wonderful base to explore the gorgeous surrounding area. There is everything you could need in the house and when it got a little cold, we could turn on the heater with no problems (with a little help via messages :D). Speaking of communication, this was another very good part about our experience here - to every question we had, we got a very quick and generous reply with lots of info and tips for the area. Thank you again Alfredo and Ettore for that! We will take part of the quiet and relaxation we experienced here back home and remember the great holiday we spent here :)

7 out of 5 stars!! I’ve been staying at AirBnBs for 10 years and this is the absolute best place we have ever rented!! The house is so lovely and the location in the village, the view etc are all amazing! Davide is the best host- he brought us fresh garden vegetables, homemade bread, and helped us start the pizza oven so we could make our own wood fired pizza. Our girls (age 10 and 15) want to live here!
