San Francisco is 30 miles by car, an hour by ferry or bus; Napa, 15 miles away. A great way to see the sites; allowing you prepare some light meals between savoring the local cuisines. This is a lovely home to stay in for those looking to explore the Bay Area. It is a quintessential Mill Valley house near Mt.Tamalpais, Stinson Beach, and San Francisco. It is a short walk to the village where there are shops, restaurants and theaters. Hiking trails are nearby. The house is located on a hillside and there are quite a few stairs . There is a studio apartment downstairs where I sometimes stay there with my poodle, Gigi.
