We loved staying at this old house on the mountain. The interior was charming and tasteful, with all the amenities and supplies we needed. Karen gave clear instructions on check in and was responsive. Only issue we had was with the old door and lock, you need some practice to use it but Karen and her husband helped us out. Also it is right across a beautiful church. During a few days there were some events happening in the church square so it was loud, but other than that we had no problem. Remember to bring eye masks for sleeping!

Amandine's place is very 'organic' to stay in, if you know what I mean - the whole house and property is constructed with natural materials, lots of quality wood furnishings in the kitchen and property. The area is great, within a 10minute walk down the stairs near the property (not by the road, so no cars) you're next to the church and another, 10 minute from there you are at a beautiful park with grass, trees, etc. In the other direction, towards Quito, you're at a supermarket (supermaxi) within 15 minutes walking along quiet neighborhood streets. So the location is great. Amandine is also very nice, and her family as well, and the area is very quiet. Feels very countryside for being just a 10minute-uber from the centre. The only negative was it was a bit dusty, but this is likely because we booked the night before AND also asked to check-in early, or because we were the first booking in awhile. Everything else was perfect, so I'm sure this won't be a problem in the future.

Had an absolutely fantastic time staying at Omama Wasi. It is a wonderful house and compound inside a very safe neighborhood. Maria was very communicative and easy to chat with. She was always available when I needed help and treats her guests with respect and privacy. Internet was incredibly fast, kitchen fully stocked with cutlery and necessary dishes. The place was very easy to live at for the months that I did and would highly, highly recommend staying with Maria. Thank you!

We are so SAD TO LEAVE and cannot wait to come back again to Carlos's FANTASTIC place. We stayed with our two toddlers for several months while in Quito area for school year, and we were welcomed like family by Carlos, his own family, and his amazing staff. The house is absolutely idyllic, with traditional white plaster and exposed wooden beams, lofted ceilings, and all the amenities one needs in kitchen (plus laundry in house!). Plenty of space for our family to spread out, and the massive patio and yard - really, a gorgeous garden of flowering and fruiting trees, palms, lovingly tended - gave us even more room to play. It feels like the world's most exclusive resort! Carlos was immediately responsive to any question we might have, and was extremely helpful offering advice for the surrounding area as well. Cumbayá (neighborhood) is precious, and Carlos's house is in the heart - we walked to the fruit market, the bakery, playground, reservoir park, plaza. We miss living there already!

An excellent place to rest! Nature at its best, large gardens and fruit trees for morning walks. The house is very cozy and has everything you need for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The owners of the place are very friendly, they are always attentive to the needs of the guests! Highly recommended

Amazing place! To start, the location was perfect. Felt safe, was close to all attractions, and had an amazing view from the terrace. Bernardo was super helpful with everything. He always made sure I was taken care of. The room itself was so cozy and nice.

Very good place, maybe my only complaints would be that the bathroom towel rack was very loose and came out just by moving or placing a towel on it and that inside the shower as such there is no space to place the shampoo, soap, conditioner, etc. since I had to place them on the floor. Apart from those two very important things, the experience was very good, the check-in and check-out were super flexible and easy to do and the area is very safe, I did not have the opportunity to go for a walk because I stayed for a short time but I am sure that it is possible to get to several tourist places in the city center on foot from the building without any problem.

The place is very cozy, comfortable and safe. It has lots of natural light and feels warm at all times. In addition, Luis was excellent: very attentive, responds quickly and was always aware that everything was fine. Totally recommended!

This is a very nice place with a great location, conveniently situated near La Carolina Park and easily accessible. The building is well-maintained and safe, featuring a small but fully-equipped gym and a coworking area. A nice touch in the kitchen is the presence of some basic items like salt, pepper, oil, tea, and coffee. The host is very responsive and always friendly.

Excellent location, a very quiet area, there were two building guards who were very attentive. I would definitely stay again.

Edwin's place was amazing! Exceeded my expectations! Exactly like the photos, 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, very nicely decorated. Beside the apartment which was accessible safe and quiet Edwin was the best host ever! always proactive and responding immediately. Highly recommended! I will i am able to visit Quito again and stay at Erwins place

The place was clean and bed was comfy. Thankfully check in was easy and available even at 9pm, so if you have a late day flight you're safe. You're also in a good location so mall is right down the street, movies are near by, and numerous other places near by as well. The stove and oven work well, and having a washer and dryer is super useful. And the owner responded to all my questions and was responding at a reasonable place as well. The only complaint i can have about it, is why are all the knives dull and why not chefs knife, made it tricky to make food between me and my fiancée. But still over all as a place to stay for me and my girlfriend, who i was visiting and purposed to, it was a nice place that we both enjoyed. I would personally recommend it very highly.

We had such a great stay! They were very responsive and helpful before and during the stay. It was a queen bed with a single bed that you can pull out from under. The space is a little small, but it worked well for 2 people. The building was very nice and the view from the room was beautiful. It is easily walkable to nearby restaurants and near the metro and bus station or a short Uber ride to most places in Quito.
