Beachfront vacation rentals in Colombo

Mimis kleines Paradies (eigentlich eher riesig) hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen! Die Bilder auf Airbnb sind schon toll, aber in der Realität, ist das Anwesen noch viel schöner! Die Architektur ist beeindruckend. Haus, Garten und Pool bilden eine perfekte Einheit. Überall gibt es schöne Plätze die zum verweilen einladen. Wir waren zu siebt auf Sri Lanka Tour und der krönende Abschluss, waren die 4 Nächte in Mimis Haus. Dank Kapila, Manjula und Raja konnten wir unseren Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genießen und einfach nur entspannen! Die drei Herren sind super freundlich, liebenswert und hilfsbereit. Manjula hat uns landestypisch bekocht, köstlich, authentisch und nur ein kleines bisschen scharf. Zum Glück. Vielen vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Gihan is a great host. His communication was spot on. Booked the place for couple days and had a great time. Everything on here is accurate. Place is very close to the beach and a 10 min drive or tuk tuk ride to the best hotels in colombo. Will stay again in the future and recommend to close friends.

This is a beautiful spacious property in a fabulous location with a sea view to die for. We were a little concerned as not many reviews, but this is often let as 2 homes together. Alexander was swift to respond and communicate this to us. Sam was always responsive and Dinesh was always on hand to look after us. The dogs are very friendly and absolutely no trouble at all. We already love this area in Sri Lanka, and loved it even more staying here.

It was one of the most wonderful vacation trips. We had a vacation with my husband and two children aged 11 and 16. The owner of the Dharshana house is a magnificent man. He was always in touch and answered all questions. The house is located almost on the shore of the Indian Ocean in 1 min walk. All the amenities were available. All necessary household appliances are present in the house. Especially the washing machine helped us out, as children often dirty things and they could be quickly refreshed. Dharshana and his wife were very kind and welcoming. In addition, they organized a trip for my family to the elephant nursery and the nine-arch bridge, we visited the highest waterfall and got acquainted with monkeys. The children were delighted. Our family has become friends with Dharshana and his wife and we continue to communicate. We are glad that we have friends in Sri Lanka and we will definitely come back to them again.

Superb place. Had a great stay here. The hospitality was very warming. The security was excellent as well in the premises. The basic amenities like the grocery store, money exchange, restaurants are just on walking distance. I highly recommend this place to stay.

My husband and I stayed here for a whole month. First of all we want to say that we feel very grateful to the family because they were always willing to help us in any situation. For example one time we got sick during our trip and the family was always aware of our health and attended us in the best way. They also gave us recommendations on how to move around the area and places that could be interesting to visit. On the other hand we can say that the place is very nice, clean and comfortable. We like to have experiences close to local life and being there allowed us to enjoy quiet days away from the tourist hotspots but not so far as to be able to easily go to interesting places such as different beaches, jungles, temples, among others. The breakfasts were varied and all delicious. Also many nights we decided to pay extra for dinner which we must say was everytime delicious and budget friendly. We can highly recommend it staying here and hope to return soon. Cathy & Philipp

Отличное расположение, просторная квартира, бассейн на крыше с видом на море и тренажёрный зал. В квартире есть всё необходимое. Перебоев со светом не бывает — есть генератор. Отличный быстрый Wi-Fi.

The location was fantastic. The apartment was modern and spotless. The view of Colombo city was breathtaking. The apartment looked exactly as the pictures. The front desk staff could be trained better when checking in. There’s no Microwave, kettle, hairdryer nor clothing iron which would have made our stay much more convenient. There were no complimentary water bottles which was a bit disappointing. Overall it was a good stay.

For the dehiwala apartment review : The apartment was clean and well presented. We enjoyed watching the sunset each evening from the balconies which all have an ocean view. The location was great, the bedrooms and aircon comfortable and the bathrooms were clean & fresh. The hosts were responsive and flexible giving us a late check-out as there was no booking after us. The assistant organised for check-in and check-in was easy to liaise with.

We had a fantastic time at the appartement. The Caretaker as well as Prajot been super helpful and always been reachable for us. The location of the place is perfect starts with going out for food or shopping as well as the fantastic view. We loved being able to use the spacious and clean pool as Colombo gets really hot during the day. Everything has been absolutely great for us and we would surely stay here again.

It is an amazing place to stay. The apartment is located 2 mins of walking distance from the beach. Has a nice view of the beach from the balconies. There were each balcony for bedrooms and for the living room. The roof top infinity pool is my favorite. Can see the sun set and sun rise from the pool. Since our stay was bit long 5 nights, the host provided extra drinking water and toilet paper. The host is very responsive. Had a good time with my family.

Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night before our flight home, but we have very fond memories of our stay at Mahagedara! At first, we had a little trouble finding the place, but we quickly received all the necessary directions. The apartment is very spacious and well-maintained. The rooms have air conditioning and fans. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and two bathrooms (one connected to a bedroom), along with clean towels and bed linens. The view from the window was fantastic, and the balcony was very large. Additionally, there is access to a rooftop pool with a breathtaking view. We also received numerous recommendations for nearby restaurants and must-visit places. I highly recommend it, and I hope to return someday!

Very clean and conveniently located, with all the necessary amenities. The host is very responsive and helpful. I will definitely return — glad I found this place for my regular trips to CMB.

Jayantha is so kind and easy-going. He always tries to solve the problems when we need help. The apartment is clean, and big enough to stay in. The 1 month experience was so wonderful. Highly recommend anyone who wants to stay in colombo for holidays.

Situated at a prime location, it’s easy to experience Colombo at its best. Apartment is clean and staff are all very helpful.

Afran is very nice and also answered fast and also called us upfront to say hi and to know eachother upfront. The appartment is very nice with all you need for a good stay. Aircon in all rooms, VERY good beds! Nice view, full kitchen with all you need. This is the best appartment we had in Sri Lanka and we have been there many times. I can highly recommend this apartment and Afran as host. Internet is also perfect speed. It was great 14 days in Mount Lavinia. Few meter from the beach with good restaurants. Everything was just perfect and we will for sure be back and rent from Afran!

wir haben die Ruhe, den Garten, den schönen Bungalow und die Nähe zum langen Strand sehr genossen. Janitha und ihre Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. war ein perfekter Einstieg für uns auf Sri Lanka.

Gayathri and her partner made us feel at home from the moment we entered. We booked the entire unit - the space is beautifully curated and has glorious sunlight, while also being centrally located. Definitely coming back soon!

A little far from the city centre but worth it to stay by the beach

Awfar’s condo is new, modern and very clean. It had all of the amenities that we needed. Awfar and the property manager were very friendly, responsive and accommodating! I would definitely recommend this property for your next stay!

Мы останавливались здесь с мамой и сыном (20 дней) — это было одно из лучших размещений в Коломбо. Просторные апартаменты, идеально подходящие как для отдыха, так и для жизни. Две спальни, две ванные комнаты, продуманная кухня, балконы почти в каждой комнате, потрясающий панорамный вид на океан. Даже несмотря на близость железной дороги, слышно только шум волн — поезд можно услышать только при открытом окне, и то — мимолётно. Район тихий, рядом кафе, магазины, всё удобно. На крыше — бассейн, шезлонги, вид как на открытке. Безопасно, чисто, приватно. Уборка по запросу (удобно, никто не тревожит), интернет усилили после обращения — сработали быстро. Персонал всегда на связи. Особенно порадовала система с датчиками: кондиционеры отключаются при открытых окнах. Всё работает идеально, фотографии абсолютно соответствуют. Я обязательно вернусь сюда снова.
