Head east for Ludlow with its 11C Castle and gastronomic delights, up to Church Stetton nicknamed “little Switzerland”. West for the breath taking Elan Valley and South to literary gem Hay on Wye.

Nestled in the beautiful South Shropshire Hills, on the edge of a working farm, the Stretton Pod is one of three luxury pods (view others on my profile). With plenty of scenic walks from the door, this cosy pod provides the perfect escape to relax and unwind. The accommodation has been individually designed and furnished in a bespoke style, including a hot tub, wet room and cooking facilities. Luxury 100% cotton bed linen, towels and robes are provided, along with a few basic supplies.

Offering cosy accommodation for up to 4 guests, it is a perfect base for walking, cycling (road and off-road) or just for enjoying being surrounded by green spaces and fresh air. Situated in the small, but thriving, village of Bucknell, it is within walking distance of an excellent pub, a petrol station and butchers. Accommodation includes a living room with woodburning stove, private kitchen and bathroom.

Our holiday apartment occupies the top floor of the Old Vicarage, a grade 2 listed Georgian house with much older roots, located directly behind the church of St John the Baptist in the heart of the historic market town of Bishops Castle. From its lofty location guests can enjoy far reaching views over the town and hills beyond. Only a few steps to the nearest pub, shops, eateries and with immediate access to the Shropshire Way and many other walking and cycling routes.

With walks from your doorstep you can discover the natural beauty of the area or take time out on the patio and drink in the views over the lake to the Long Mynd beyond. One of two beautiful one bed apartments in the historic Porch House, a grade II * listed 16th century timber framed town house in the centre of Bishops Castle opposite a pub with lively music nights. This is up a short stair case.
