Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Clinton County

The place was wonderful. We enjoyed every part of the house, felt like home. The pool was amazing, we loved it.

We travel to Pine Creek valley each year to kayak, bike, and hike. This location at the southern end saved us some travel time, and allowed access to all the activities that we wanted. Will consider renting again! Very nice host, we spoke briefly. I am a cat lover, and he very responsibly attended to his barn cat on the property, earning respect points from me! Garage space was nice to unload kayaks, bikes, and gear, and coolers. Beautiful vista from the front. If you have young children, the neighbor's kids were extremely friendly. Definitely 5 stars!

Nikki and Jeremey are just wonderful host!! This was our 2nd return at their property and we’re already looking forward to our third for the year. There property is so wonderful and it’s like a second home to us. Wonderful and peaceful. Clean to max. Everything you need and if you forget anything 15 min drive to the local Walmart. We came for just a short one night stay as it was on the route of our drive home. We arrived very late but getting into the home was very easy and it was incredibly cozy. We wished we had stayed longer than just one night but would definitely recommend it to anyone else!

We enjoyed the lodge and all the amenities! House was fully stocked with everything we needed! We enjoyed our stay and getting to explore the area!

Donna was a fantastic host! Her place is incredible and there were several things for us to do. The Pickleball court was amazing as were all of the amenities! Looking forward to coming back to Lockhaven to stay at Donna‘s place again! Thanks for having us and thanks for the great weekend!

The property is stunning. Tranquil views of flowing river surrounded by mature woods and natural formed landscapes.. very peaceful and mature.

Perfect get away. Peaceful secluded, yet right off main road and not far from town. Gorgeous surroundings and nearby state parks and trails

This cute and easily accessible apartment in Lock Haven was a great place to stay while we were in PA for our son's graduation from Penn State. The view of the river from the apartment was fantastic. The drive to State College was easy and it was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of graduation weekend. Lock Haven is a beautiful place to stay!

Our family traveled to Lock Haven to stay for the weekend while my son had a baseball tournament at Lock Haven University. We found Sarah's place at a great price for two nights and was the perfect size for my husband and I, with our four children. The place was so cute and made you feel at home right when you walked in. In the living room there was a mini fridge to store your drinks/snacks, a fully stocked coffee bar, and snacks to choose from. There were also board games to play, puzzles, coloring books with crayons, and a little play area in the kid's bedroom. We really enjoyed playing Yahtzee both nights! The bathroom was stocked with towels and washcloths, and there were cleaning supplies available if needed. Sarah was very responsive if I had any questions and gave recommendations on things to do in town and restaurants to go to. All in all, we really enjoyed this trip and would recommend Sarah's place to anyone if you ever plan to visit little old Lock Haven!

Went to Lock Haven for my daughter's graduation from Penn State. State College was just a short drive, so that worked out great. The room was fabulous. Such great view from the back porch. Susan was a great host. Responsive to texts/calls. I definitely will stay there again if I'm in the area.

Jennifer’s place is warm and welcoming. Free of clutter, yet lovingly decorated with lots of unique hand painted pieces and pretty artwork. The beds and shower are comfortable and the kitchen equipped with all we needed. Host was friendly and responsive. The apartment is very private with pleasant spaces both inside and out. Excellent location near shops, cafes, restaurants and a walking trail. Plenty of biking and hiking options nearby in beautiful surroundings.
