Wow! if I could turn my car around and go right back to Miriah's place, I would do it in a heartbeat! We took our 3 kids for a quick Fall Break trip to Elk Rapids and we all fell in love with Miriah's place and this amazing little town. The house is a perfect layout for families, with lots of common spaces to hang out together AND enough sitting nooks for people to find quiet places to read and relax too. The kitchen has got to be the most well stocked Airbnb kitchen I've ever been to. Next time, I'll plan to cook more because now I know Miriah's house literally has EVERYTHING you might need to cook and serve a big group. The house was spotlessly clean, the furniture was super comfy and we slept super well. We loved walking to the beach, playing at the playground, watching people catch fish by the dam, walking to the shops in town, and enjoying the incredible views. This place exceeded our expectations in every way. Thanks for a great stay!

We loved our stay at the Hoxie Homestead. The location was central to all of northern Michigan’s cute towns and beaches. The property was clean and well laid-out. Loved the decor, and the master bed was super comfy and soft. The hot tub and sauna were perfect. We would certainly stay again.

Fantastic home! We loved everything about this place. Lots of space for our family of six. House was clean, stocked with lots of amenities. Linens, towels, board games, books, kitchen supplies.. We loved the beautiful view, deck, fire pit, dock, paddle board and kayak. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

Host was super quick to responds and sent a ton of info of things to do in the area. A very nice, peaceful time on the lake.

My family and I desperately needed this trip. David’s place was absolutely perfect. We had a nice bonfire and listened to music. We cooked breakfast together and David’s place provided all the pans we needed, and more. Definitely will recommend this place!

Great stay. There’s a little hill getting into the driveway that made me a little nervous, but it was fine. The inside of the home is absolutely perfect. And by the water is even better than the pictures. I had a few questions and they always responded so quickly and were very helpful.

5-Star house. We really enjoyed our stay in this quiet neighborhood close to East Bay and all the great beaches nearby.

Our stay was great. Directions were accurate and Google Maps found it without any problems. Everything was very clean and welcoming. My wife and I were looking for a comfortable halfway point to take a day that would break up the road trip into 2 nice pieces, which of course one day of rest equals 2 nights of payment. Everything was great during that day of rest. The hot tub was wonderful- It's been years since we enjoyed one. I look forward to staying here again and so does my wife. ps the Rise & Dine restaurant in town was great. Do your life a favor and get the stuffed French toast for breakfast-You're welcome!

Mathew’s place was wonderful and it was so close to the lifts… we loved his cozy slope side chalet! We will definitely book again in the future!

We loved our stay at Wildwood Lodge! The property is on a barely traveled road and feels secluded (only one neighbor is visible but it does not impede on enjoying any of the hang out areas). The house was really well appointed with amenities (towels, kitchen gadgets/utensils) and was kept very clean. Loved the oversized couch to hang out on and then front porch for morning coffee. The small front fenced in area was perfect for our pups. We will definitely be back!

We have stayed at Timber Valley multiple times as a family and it is always a yearly highlight getaway for us. Kristi's place is very cozy and inviting especially being surrounded by the woods and nature. The house is the perfect size for our family of six and we have even had additional family stay with is in the past with more than enough room to accommodate our needs. Kristi is always responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns that come up. You can't go wrong with a stay at Timber Valley!

Sunset Glory has been our "go-to" ski weekend rental for years! We Love the apartment and being right in town and so close to the Highlands!

My 4 kids, husband and I have been coming to Shanty creek resorts for over 10 years. This is the first time we stayed somewhere other than the resort hotels. We enjoyed we were able to bring our dog on this trip, we had a kitchenette, and we did more in the area because we had to drive ourselves. This gave us a chance to explore and save more money. By staying in a place more reasonable than the hotel and we were able to cook ourselves and didn't have the added expense of a dog sitter. 4girls sharing one bathroom worked out better than I thought. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful first getaway at Sarah’s place. The property was peaceful, private, and the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We had a great time visiting Na-Tah-Ka, exploring Ludington, the Silver Lake Sand Dunes, and more — but some of our favorite moments were just spent enjoying the quiet beauty of the property itself. We’ll definitely be back to soak in the tranquility and natural surroundings again. Sarah was a kind and responsive host, and her place is absolutely worth the stay. 🌲

Ben was able to accommodate my last minute stay and I’m so appreciative! I was hoping to get away from the city and enjoy watching the lake with my partner and pup. We were obsessed with the sunroom, multiple board games/puzzle available, watching movies and just catching back up. The lake is still a bit chilly which worked for me because nobody else was out and about! It was such a peaceful, calming trip and I would definitely come back.

It is the perfect get away if you prefer life at a slower pace. Beaches are beautiful, the shops and restaurants are nice, and the people are friendly. Lots of places to walk too. However, if you like more drama, people, and hustle and bustle, Traverse City is only 20 minutes south of Elk Rapids. I will definitely be returning.

The tower was exactly as described. The location is secluded but not difficult to find. Very peaceful and relaxing! The tower has everything you need as far as kitchen necessities and even toiletries. Beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. It is located only a 3 minute drive from downtown Bellaire which has many cute little shops, a brewery, distillery, and restaurants. The tower is also located only 20-25 mins from Torch Lake. Only disclaimer I have is the stairs; it was not a problem for our group but may be difficult for some.

Such an adorable cabin. Everything is there that you'd need and more. Cozy, warm and inviting. We were in a predicament, and Erin came to our rescue. We couldn't have been happier.

Genuinely cannot speak highly enough of this location. Perfectly situated between Mackinaw and Traverse City, with enough private property on site to enjoy your down time. AC beat the heat wave, outdoor shower was amazing, and property was easy to find. STAY HERE!
