house was super clean, beds were very comfy and there were lots of pillows and blankets. plenty of things in the kitchen we could use! overall it was a comfortable stay.

Our group had an amazing time! The property was clean, spacious, and perfect for us. The house had comfy beds, a great kitchen, and ample hangout space. The garage was a fantastic spot for games and fun. Jenny was responsive and made check-in easy. Great location, too! 5 stars - highly recommend!

The view of the lake on 3 different levels was amazing. Each room has a lakeview, the game room was awesome for keeping everyone entertained when we would come in to warm up. Nice subtle spot tucked back in the woods. The communication was great and they went out of their way to be sure we had everything that was needed. Comfortably fit 7 people (4 adults, 3 preteens) with no problem.

Good location. Quiet setting in the woods. Clean. Responsive host. Plenty of parking. Close to Torch River boat launch.

The house was very well furnished, yard was perfect for a nightly bonfire with friends and family. Close enough to town where you could easily get groceries, fuel, or simple go out to eat with no worry about it being a long drive. The house was located perfectly around multiple trailheads for ORV riding (within 20 mins). The only thing that I can say that was a downside to the rental was the amount of kitchenware. For a cabin that sleeps 10, there were limited plates, bowls, mixing bowls, and utensils.

We had a wonderful stay the weekend of Feb 15th-17th. The house has a beautiful cabin feel and was spacious enough for 5 adults and 1 teenager. All the amenities you need. Great location for skiing at Shanty Creek (20min drive) and Boyne Mountain (30min drive). Definitely a lot of snow in Feb. and need 4x4 for driveway and driving in the area. Highly recommend staying here. Sue, property manager, is great, proactive in her communication and always responsive. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Great home and location, right near torch lake and the marina. Very peaceful, and beautiful views, especially at sunset. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in the area!

We had a wonderful stay at Richard's condominium! The condo is apart of a larger resort, Shanty Creek, and with the passes that were left for us to use, we were never bored! We explored the Lakeview Hotel and pool amenities there, the private beach, and the Shuss Mountain resort as well. This was especially nice for the 12 year old we had with us. There was a couple staying next to us (not under Richard's purview), who had loud dogs who would not stop barking but after messaging Richard, we heard them very rarely and then not at all, so we really appreciated the timely response we had from him and the action he took by informing the HOA for that condo. The little touches here and there were also really appreciated, like the fan/lightbulb fan charm cords so we knew which cord was for the light and which was for the fan. We plan on coming back for sure! Highly recommended place for people of all ages to enjoy.

We loved our stay at Wildwood Lodge! The property is on a barely traveled road and feels secluded (only one neighbor is visible but it does not impede on enjoying any of the hang out areas). The house was really well appointed with amenities (towels, kitchen gadgets/utensils) and was kept very clean. Loved the oversized couch to hang out on and then front porch for morning coffee. The small front fenced in area was perfect for our pups. We will definitely be back!

This was probably the best AirBnB I’ve stayed in to date. The cleanliness was near pristine, it had anything you could possibly need (the water station was a lifesaver!! And so thoughtful too). She provided multiple recommendations of activities to do nearby with my family, places to eat, and great instructions for being able to use the amenities within the community. Not to mention the home was beautiful. It was perfect for a getaway and I would absolutely consider booking again if I were ever in the area. We didn’t have a dog with us, but I love that they also had a large dog kennel on site for those that do bring a dog. Overall, a wonderful stay and experience!

We have stayed at Timber Valley multiple times as a family and it is always a yearly highlight getaway for us. Kristi's place is very cozy and inviting especially being surrounded by the woods and nature. The house is the perfect size for our family of six and we have even had additional family stay with is in the past with more than enough room to accommodate our needs. Kristi is always responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns that come up. You can't go wrong with a stay at Timber Valley!

My 4 kids, husband and I have been coming to Shanty creek resorts for over 10 years. This is the first time we stayed somewhere other than the resort hotels. We enjoyed we were able to bring our dog on this trip, we had a kitchenette, and we did more in the area because we had to drive ourselves. This gave us a chance to explore and save more money. By staying in a place more reasonable than the hotel and we were able to cook ourselves and didn't have the added expense of a dog sitter. 4girls sharing one bathroom worked out better than I thought. You have an absolute Gem of a cabin! I booked this trip on a whim only knowing I wanted to see Torch lake but unknowing of the area. I can’t imagine finding a better rental in all the area. It was absolutely perfect for our family in every way! I’ll start with the location. There is everything you need within minutes. Private access to the water with the perfect little beach just a couple minute walk down the road, grocery store, gas station, liquor store within a 5 minute drive. Kayak rental minutes down the road. Beautifully maintained hiking trails surrounding the area (I was shocked how much nicer they are than state parks in our area). We enjoyed going into Aden to shop, play at the park and get ice cream. The cabin was so comfortable we felt very much at home. It had a generous amount of supplies (towels, hygiene and paper products ect….) This place has been a prime location for a people free vacation at an incredible value and I’ve been recommending it to everyone! Thank you!

Extremely beautiful home and property. Very clean and spacious. The house and kitchen had all the essentials, and there were a variety of games for all the children. Our personal favorite was shuffleboard. The dock is absolutely perfect for fishing, and the paddleboat is a nice touch. The beds were very comfortable, and it was so nice to have TVs in pretty much every room. I also loved that there were so many soft blankets and cozy spots throughout the home. We were able to use the fire pit and grill, and overall, it was a fantastic getaway for the family, and I love that this stunning property is pet-friendly! Highly recommend!

Charming house, with views of Torch Lake. The sand bar access/ swimming is just down the street about 200 yards. Beautiful wooded back yard, with a firepit, lawn furniture and hammock for realaxing. House is clean and comfy. everything you need for a stay. Like the add says, bring your toothbrush and beach towel, everything else is there for you.

Even with cold, rainy weather, we still had the best weekend staying here! The cabin is so cozy with everything we needed, we felt right at home. Being right in the water was fantastic, especially enjoying the view from the hot tub on the colder days. If you're in the area I would highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful cabin in a peaceful setting. If you are looking for quiet, space and a short drive to Traverse City and beyond, this is your cabin. We had 6 adults and 2 kids and lots of room. Well stocked kitchen, grill and fire pit. Patrick met us upon arrival and asked if everything was in order. It IS in the country and there are critters nearby, however that is part of the charm. It was perfect for our group. Thank you Patrick.
