Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Claytor Lake

Our stay at Rebecca's was perfect from start to finish. There was good communication and the Airbnb was as described. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. The Riverview trail, just a 5-minute walk away, is a beautiful walk. The home was not only clean but also well-equipped with everything we needed. We especially loved the cozy living room downstairs where we spent our evenings. Rebecca's hospitality was exceptional, and we were thrilled with every aspect of our stay. Thank you, Rebecca, for making our stay so wonderful. We highly recommend Rebecca's place and would love to stay here again. We are grateful for the wonderful experience.

This place was amazing. House on a hill with vistas 360. Ezekiel could not have been more thoughtful when preparing the house. Completely stacked kitchen and not with cheap stuff- it was all high quality. Beds, furniture bathrooms were expertly done. My family had a wonderful time and getting to know Ezekiel was blessing to us. Wonderful host who truly cares. Pro tip- you are out there- bring what you need. Nothing is close and its totally worth it.

If you are looking for sheer serenity, porch swings, and spectacular views, book your stay at Porch and Pastures. This tastefully decorated home is squeaky clean, comes well equipped, and is inviting and comfortable. I can't say enough about the porch, we spent mornings there sipping our coffee and evenings enjoying our wine, making family memories. The family room space was a plus, the sofa beds are suitable for two, they are small. Don't forget your fishing poles, so much fun at the pond! Our family truly enjoyed our stay in this bucolic area!! While you are there, take the time to visit Chateau Morrisette Winery ...two miles away, spectacular views with a 5 star restaurant. Don't forget the town of Floyd, a true anomaly, about 20 mins from the house. Pat, the hostess is very responsive, and easy to work with.

We just returned from another wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin. This was our fourth stay at Cathy's cabin, and it never disappoints. The cabin is very clean, comfortable, and well laid out, and the view out over the valley below is stunning. We have never had any problems or complaints, which is why we have made it our favorite spot to stay when up in the Blue Ridge area. We will be going back.

Brandon and Taylor were exceptional host who cared about our well-being during our entire stay. We ran into an unforeseen issue with plumbing, and Brandon and Taylor went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. I have never had a host as gracious, responsive, or as an accommodating as them. The Airbnb itself was beautiful and in a prime location. We would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to stay in the area!

The place was absolutely perfect. It was convenient, peaceful, complete, and she was very accommodating. Will definitely return for future blacksburg visits!

We had a lovely stay at Wayne and Rita’s on our recent trip and really enjoyed talking with both of them. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay in this peaceful and beautiful spot again.

I could not have hoped for a better host. I was here for the fiddlers gathering and the location was perfect. This couple really know what they’re doing and they make you feel right at home like part of the family While still respecting their guest privacy. Outstanding, I already booked another stay with them.

We had a very nice stay at the Sunflower Suite. Patricia and Gene's place is super comfortable, quiet, and spotless. We felt right at home. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was hot and had great water pressure. We enjoyed the gas fireplace in the morning. We would happily stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at The Mill! The suite was far more spacious than we expected. Be sure to sleep with the windows open because the sound of the river reminds you of the beautiful setting in this charming town. The bed was very comfortable and there’s even a sitting area in the bedroom. We enjoyed morning coffee in front of the picture windows that provided a stunning view. We loved the restoration story and handmade features. Marcia was very easy to communicate with and made sure we were comfortable.

We had a GREAT stay!!! I’m from the area and came home to visit - was looking for a nicely located “base” and it was perfect. Will absolutely be keeping this in mind for more trips home. Even forgot a bag upon check out and was contacted promptly so that I could return and grab it.

We truly enjoyed our stay and the amenities provided. We were able to ride our bicycles on the New River Trail in Galax. This was our second stay at Brian’s place and he excels in providing excellent amenities. The facilities were exceptionally clean and everything we needed was provided.

We loved it and felt right at home! We attended my son’s graduation from @RoanokeCollege and it was an easy drive! Mark was responsive and amazing the whole weekend! Highly recommend!! We will stay again for certain!!

This is a stunning spot on Groundhog Mountain/Doe Run. We enjoyed time out on the deck with the tabletop firepit, comfy chairs, and it was completely enclosed so our dog could be out with us, which was great! Haley’s place was immaculate, well provisioned, had comfortable mattresses, handy to the Parkway, not far from the Olde Mill and the Maples Restaurant and secluded, tucked in to lush foliage. I would highly recommend staying there, if you love being in the mountains and woods, it’s a beautiful spot! She was also extremely responsive and very flexible, which we really appreciated.

Lauren’s place was amazing and she a great host. As a host Lauren is very responsive and she made everything very easy with clear instructions on everything that can be needed during the stay. All the amenities are as mentioned and everything is of great quality. The location is beautiful with scenic views. Would 100% recommend!

AMAZING home!! SUPER clean and beautifully decorated! The beds were very comfortable to sleep in. Bathrooms had mini shampoos which was great. The kitchen is fully stocked with dish ware, and there was even a fully stocked coffee bar with keurig, k-cups, tea, syrups, creamers, and even to-go cups! It was truly an amazing stay and would highly recommend this Airbnb and Tanya was super responsive!

Christine was an excellent host and this was great place to stay for our daughter’s graduation as it was close to her and campus and downtown.
