The guesthouse is located in a very quiet village with a beautiful view of the mountains. Everything was spotless and well-kept, and the hosts were extremely kind and helpful. Just about 3 kilometers away there’s a supermarket and a lovely little épicerie in the town of Bastia. It’s an ideal stopover on the way to Venice or on the way back. I’ll definitely recommend it to friends, and if I travel this way again, I won’t even look for another place—I’ll try to book this one again. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, which was very important to us and made the stay especially pleasant.

Gian’s apartment is located in a gorgeous location, with 360° mountain views. Although the town is small, there are still some shops nearby, and some restaurants. Lots of beautiful hikes available in the area. My wife, daughter, and I visited in May, and the apartment can definitely get cold throughout the day, and night time. It is possible to heat the place with firewood, available at DeSpar nearby. The heaters will blow the fuse if operated at the same time, as some other reviews mentioned, but if everything is turned off at night (including the water heater), you can close all doors, and heat one room with the electric heater no problem. Great stay overall with no issues.

Antonio was expecting me in front of the accommodation, although I had specified a window of two hours. The apartment was clean and looked like the pictures. Antonio had found the opening hours of the local shopping and was also very helpful otherwise. As a multi-day hiker, I was particularly pleased to be able to use the washing machine with existing detergent :-)
