Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Clapton Pond

We (4 adults and 5 children) spent our school holidays in London, staying in this house. It has a large and well-equipped kitchen-dining-living room, five bedrooms, two bathrooms, one separate toilet, and a small garden with a barbecue and a place for sitting together. So everyone in the team found a place to relax and spend time together after long walks in the city. There are a lot of books in the house, which made some of our book lovers very happy. Bus stops are 4-7 minutes walk away, which take you to the tube or even the city center. The Tesco grocery store is also within walking distance. The surroundings of the house are very quiet, and we could sleep peacefully without street noise. We felt very comfortable in this accommodation, just like at home. Overall, we are very happy with the holiday we spent and would gladly return to this house again. Special thanks to the owner of the house, Sarah, who was very supportive and very quickly responded to all our questions.

Lovely! Great little east London neighborhood surrounded by parks and very community feel but not far from the action either — the actual house was perfectly arty and sweet. Great book collection and instruments for music lovers & the garden was absolutely a paradise!! Hosts were communicative and helpful when things came up and the space was clearly loved and cared for. The grocery pick up was also great. 10/10 this place felt like home and a refuge in the London bustle! Thank you!!

Francesca's home was one of the greatest Airbnb experiences we have ever had. This beautifully decorated family home had everything we could have needed and more. Our toddler was thrilled with the selection of toys that were left for her enjoyment and every small detail was taken into account by Francesca. It was truly an honor to get to spend time in someone else's home, while such great consideration was taken into account for the guests. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in London.

Grants flat was perfect for our stay in london. cosy, very clean and in a excellent location. lots of lovely food spots near by for brunch and dinner. Grant was also very helpful in showing us how to check in/out and what facilities the flat offered with some handy videos sent to us prior to our stay. would recommend staying here, we had a lovely time.

Great location. Lots of great pubs, parks, markets and landmarks nearby. Hackney has a great community vibe. Tesco is a 1 min walk. Hackney Central is 2 mins away. 2 stops to Highbury & Islington / Vic line.

Deniz is a proactive, friendly and helpful host. The flat is very bright and peaceful but very close to bus services, the overground and local shops. The kitchen is very well equipped, with fresh tea towels. The bedding and towels were freshly laundered. A great place to stay at in East London for a few days or a longer stay, I recommend Deniz’s place.

Very good stay in the accommodation offered by Alistair Le Cartier is quiet with a small garden where we were able to see squirrels and even a fox every day. Despite the little country air, access to London is very easy by train and metro. Alistair was very responsive and friendly in the exchanges before and at the end of the stay. Thanks a lot

This was a great 2-week stay. The apartment has everything, including a desk where I could write, a real kitchen, and lots of plants. The back yard is private and charming. I slept well, wasn't bothered by neighbors, and got to know Hackney. Alice communicates promptly and thinks ahead.

We've stayed her 3-4 times now and it's great. We keep coming back because it's very comfortable. Unlike a lot of places the couch is comfy, as are the chairs and beds. We can cook dinner, pop downstairs to 2-3 different markets, plus several pubs and restaurants, and bring food back. The nearby pedestrian zone even has a Marks and Spence market that's very nice (think Whole Foods). The area is great. Two very convenient trains and several buses. We like to walk and often go through London Fields to Broadway market. Kingsland Road is good for Turkish food, an interesting African market and a Pret a Manger. The host, Zoe, is extremely responsive and helpful. Would definitely come back if we go back to Hackney again.

Izzy’s flat was perfect for our long weekend stay in the Hackney/Clapton area. Very centrally located and walkable, and a beautiful, clean, quiet, and charming accommodation. Izzy was a great host with clear and timely communication. Would recommend!

Jenni’s apartment was all I needed to spend the Christmas. Beautifully decorated, peaceful flat with a lovely atmosphere. Jenni has a great taste in arts and design and put her personal touch everywhere you look. Staying at her flat was like staying at a five star luxury hotel. The flat was very clean and was provided with many amenities, more than I needed. She was very responsive throughout my stay and responded my texts in less than a minute whenever I needed to double check things. I stayed for five nights and would definitely recommend her place for short or longer visits.

lovely apartment in Hackney/Homerton, close to the overground and a number of stores/pubs/ restaurants etc. the apartment is very nice and stilishly decorated and has accomodated well our party of four (two adults and two boys). Esther was always very nice and warm in all her communications. would definitely return!
