Glebe Cottage

Just finished a lovely 3 days at the cottage. I am very familiar with the area because I have been coming back here for America for 30 years to visit family close by. The cottages in a Charming little town near letter Kenny and on the main road. It is very much a taste of the old Ireland. And you will enjoy the warmth and kindness of Irish locals who know how to welcome people and make them feel at home!

The Byre

We immediately felt extremely comfortable! The cottage is beautiful, well equipped, nestled in the beautiful countryside, exudes enormous tranquility. Damian is the best host you could wish for: friendly, generous, responsive to all wishes - like with friends! The view all around is balm for the soul. The location allows many wonderful excursions in all directions. The cottage was cozy, very new, modern and rebuilt and expanded with a lot of care by Damian himself. Everything was super clean. The beds are comfortable. The heating warmed pleasantly. The outdoor terrace is awesome. Washer and dryer a plus. Check in was very easy. Thank you for all the gifts, milk, eggs, bread, coffee, butter, … even sugar-free jam. Looking forward to seeing you again!

We are a family of four with two girls (7 and 3), we had a great time, the house was perfect for us, plenty of space for the kids to enjoy, Jennifer is an excellent host, gave us lots of tips and info and was very helpful with anything we needed. We stayed for 2 weeks and had no shortage of activities to keep us all entertained.

Ninalodge - Cosy, private self-contained apartment

MeganRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Nina is the sweetest! She came out to greet us singing happy birthday, remembering that was the reason behind our trip to Ireland. She laid out a beautiful spread of fruit and chocolate and a lovely hand written note (which I now realize I forgot to take with me :( She had the heat on ahead of time for us and I really appreciated that, it was pretty chilly that day. Nina is friendly and thoughtful and I would definitely stay there again.

Sams cottage

We had a lovely relaxing stay. The cottage is like stepping back in time but spacious with modern amenities. The weather was unpredictable when we stayed but we were warm and cozy. I would recommend that you take all you need with you as the nearest shop was a 10-15 minute drive away. The cottage is a great base for exploring the local area, take insect repellent if you visit Glenveagh national park though. A visit to Dunfanaghy is a must to enjoy the amazing beach. We would definitely recommend and hope to stay again.
