Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Chowan County

Had a great time fishing here!! The place had a well stoked kitchen and a nice grill! There's also another fishing area nearby by car that was great too!

We enjoyed a peaceful stay after long days on bikes. We were in town for the NC Coastal ride. After riding for 30+ miles each day we came back to a tranquil location. The home is immaculate. Every item one would ever need was provided. It was perfect to have a full size fridge for our supplies. Beth even left firewood in case we wanted to enjoy the fire pit. We were able to stretch and get in a yoga session on the dock. Yoga mats were provided. The home feels like a ship in that it is surrounded by water. The waves and fresh air made for incredible sleep each night. An osprey nest is outside the window. With the binoculars we were able to watch the progress of the nest and the amazing pair catch fish. The communication throughout the stay was spot on. The “billion dollar” view is remarkable, but the amenities and care from the homeowner make this is top notch vacation spot.

Beautiful location! Very peaceful and serene. It is located quite a ways from restaurants and shops, so plan accordingly. If you’re looking for a quiet spot on the river, this is it.

Maureen was flexible with us checking in 2hrs early. The house was clean! We got to explore the area, not much to do, but it was peaceful. Be sure to check out the trail by the COA! It was beautiful! The big fenced yard was a great addition for we had our dog with us. The pool was an added bonus! However, there was no “active pool cleaner” and there were a lot of bugs and dirt from the trees on the water—which was understandable. Other than that, everything was great! Felt right at home! A Perfect Slice of Paradise – Truly the Rainbow’s End! We just returned from the most magical stay at Rainbow’s End. Nestled in the heart of the Inner Banks, this home offers the perfect blend of peace, comfort, and natural beauty. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we needed—from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy linens and thoughtful touches throughout. The views were absolutely breathtaking—sunrises over the water, gentle breezes, and the kind of quiet that soothes the soul. Our days were filled with playing in the lush backyard, reading on the deck, and exploring charming nearby towns. Evenings were for bonfire, stargazing, and watching the colors of the sunset fade into twilight. Rainbows End truly lives up to its name Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. It was everything we hoped for and more

We had a wonderful stay at Edgewater for a weekend. The house was beautiful and immaculately clean. The view from the deck and yard was beautiful and very peaceful with the water, gardens, and lots of wildlife to see. Alan and Nora are super friendly and so accommodating. They have truly thought of everything and have provided so many fun things for guests to enjoy! We just wish we could have stayed longer.

This Airbnb is AMAZING! If you want a once in a lifetime experience, give this place a try. I initially booked it because it had 2 king size beds and two bathrooms, however, I did not expect to thoroughly enjoy Liesl's artistic masterpiece as much as I did! It is truly what Liesl said she hoped it would be: that you feel like you're walking through a painting!

Magnolia Lakes house is a beautifully restored farmhouse. It's comfortable and clean and the owners did everything they could to make our stay terrific. It's a great value too. Having rented numerous places on Airbnb, we can confidently say this one stands out. It’s an exceptional value and an easy recommendation for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway. We’ll be back!

The air bnb was beautiful, I loved the farmhouse look! So much to do around the area!

I’d give it “Three C’s”: Clean, Cute, Cozy. Attention to detail & pet friendly, the enclosed space protects the dogs until you’re ready to leave the gated enclosure. Oh, the welcome basket is delightful, healthy snacks & wine; which soothes the weary travelers. The kitchen rack for drying dishes is creative & sanitary-great idea! Good location for overnight accommodations. I’d recommend Anne’s place!

Mechelle's place is excellent. She was very responsive during the check-in period and quickly followed up to a couple of my questions once I arrived. The house is extremely well maintained with loads of convenient and thoughtful amenities. Its location is perfect to the Elizabeth City waterfront and shops. I'd highly recommend it for your stay in the area.

Kay and Justice are amazing. I just had a 10 day stay and it was amazing. The event space had everything I needed and everything was spotless. A beautiful place in a beautiful area. I will be staying here again. Kay was the perfect Host . I felt like I was at home. An incredible experience. Thank you Kay and Justice and Kenny ,very much.

Needed a place to stay for the Potato Festival and found this Airbnb with in walking distance of everything I needed for the weekend. Was able to get a pizza one night by walking to the restaurant and was able to cook on the other night. Great location and great place to stay. Feels just like a home.
