Our hostel Fuchs und Hase is located in Oberjugel, a scattered settlement belonging to Johanngeorgenstadt, directly on the border with the Czech Republic. At an altitude of 850 m, pure nature, tranquility, unadulterated mountain meadows and many hiking and cycling trails await you. In winter, the Jugelloipe starts right behind the house with connection to the Kammloipe and Czech ski highway. Several ski slopes can be reached quickly by car. We are happy to provide tips.

Both individuals and a large family will find comfort in this spacious and unique accommodation. There are 2 bathrooms equipped with a washing machine, towels and detergents. The kitchen is equipped with the necessary utensils, appliances, including a dishwasher, and basic food. Bed linen is included. Our farm is located in Reichenau, district of Waidhaus, only 500 m (by foot) away from fhe Czech border. The uniqueness of our location can be described through its remote and natural surroundings. Large forest areas, many streams and ponds as well as green meadows are only some of the beautiful aspects of the area. A stay here is ideal for travellers on their way to Prague or anywhere East. The accommodation offers an equipped kitchen with a stove, two bathroom, two double rooms with the possibility of an extra bed, a family room for four people and a sleeping loft for another four people. A house with history - Built in 1860 as a Royal Forestry Office building in Mähring, it was restored in several thousand working hours. Enjoy the wonderfully idyllic area as a starting point for excursions to Neualbenreuth, Pilsen, Mariánské Lázně, Karlovy Vary, Eger, Waldsassen and many other attractive destinations in the area. We are happy to share that part of the world with them.

A cozy house built of straw with clay walls. The forest is 2 km away from the Hrachola Dam. We tried to work with natural materials to make it comfortable for us, and hopefully you, in the house. At the same time, we have not forgotten the technical and sanitary facilities needed for a comfortable stay.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. You can just have a picnic in the garden or sit on a bench under a tree. If you have a long time, you can go for a walk 3 km through the forest and swim in a nearby dam. In the evening, you can have a drink at your own bar or visit the local pub.
