Vacation rentals with lake access in Chittenden County

Peter’s place was great. House was exactly as advertised, and right on the lake. Plenty of amenities. Short drive (15 minutes) to downtown Burlington. Peter made sure we had everything we needed, and also provided some great info about surrounding areas, i.e. grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Look forward to coming back again!! Dave

Tricia’s place was wonderful and cozy, clutter free but had everything you could need. The beds were very comfortable and the bath towels were hotel quality. Tricia was very pleasant and offered good suggestions for nearby places to go. We enjoyed the fireplace and comfortable furniture. The lake park was about a mile away and gave us a nice bit of exercise walking back and forth. If we go back to Burlington, we’d definitely want to stay here again.

Beautiful relaxing space, just as listed. Kylie left thoughtful touches like wine for us and treats for my dogs. She left clear instructions and was very accessible and responsive. We will definitely be back!

This is the nicest Airbnb we have stayed in, and we have stayed in many. Beautiful, clean, comfortable. Stayed for UVM graduation, location was convenient to where we needed to be (needed to drive), and the surroundings by the lake were a beautiful break from the action.

5 STARS! Very cozy property filled with wonderful amenities. Large spacious bedrooms and great outdoor space and seating area. Beautiful views of Lake Champlain from many spaces in the house. We had a such a wonderful stay, so much so we booked it again for another few days! Tamara was an excellent host. Would love to visit again :)

First, the home: was beautiful. Perfect for the 3 adults in our party. Kitchen had every amenity we could think of. Bathrooms, too. Super comfy living space. Windows allowed a lovely lake breeze. Beautiful outdoor living, but the weather did not cooperate to allow us to enjoy. Next, the host: Aimee was super communicative. She was proactive with instructions and answers to our anticipated questions. And she was very quick to respond with the couple of questions we did have. Both the home and host were excellent. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful family trip to the Crowd Nest. The home was beautiful, spotlessly clean, so well stocked, and very comfortable! We loved the location. Bring right on the bay in the frosty winter was so very peaceful. And only 15 minutes to downtown Burlington. Martina was an excellent host - responsive and kind. We would love to return to see the area in the summer!

The Walkabout was ideally located for us. It’s easily walkable to Church Street, the waterfront and restaurants. We appreciated the off-street parking and laundry facilities. Laurie and Mark, the co-hosts, were helpful and responsive.

What an amazing place to stay! The view is phenomenal, the apartment is cozy. We woke up every morning and were just gobsmacked at the natural beauty of the surroundings. It’s a great spot and Ellen is a lovely host. The scenery on the lake is breathtaking - we can’t wait to plan a trip back.

We were charmed by the combination of color, nostalgic framed art, objects and furniture in Kristin’s apartment, which is a high ceilinged first floor unit, converted long ago in what was probably a former Victorian Burlington mansion. We had a very pleasant 4 night stay there, with a super comfortable bed, air conditioners in the bedroom and main room, attractive, clean and well-lit bathroom and a great Keurig nespresso vertuo coffee pod machine. The outdoor parking space is very close to the building’s entrance. Great location too, just going up the Main St. hill and so near downtown Burlington. Kristin works with Errin, and their communications and response times to messages was amazingly quick. Thank you Kristin & Errin!

Highly recommended space and host! Kurt is hands down an A+ super host! We arrived in Burlington in the evening with having another Airbnb reservation that we found not to be a good fit for us! Frantically searching for other Airbnb accommodations for the night, several hosts had availability but showed no urgency to help us. Kurt literally stopped what he was doing to go and turn lights and heat on for us. He also left water, a couple beers, and creamer in the fridge for our morning coffee, which too was provided. The space is exactly how it was pictured. Clean, uncluttered, and beautiful! Kurt’s place has great location in a charming quiet neighborhood with driveway parking. Comfortable bed and great water pressure in the shower was also great to have! Finding this place last minute was the cherry on top of our amazing Burlington experience….and we will be back! We loved our stay! The place was extremely clean and bed was very comfortable. We did not cook but full kitchen if you want to with everything you would need. Plenty of towels and huge bathroom. The balcony was relaxing and beautiful view and beachfront. Would definitely love to come back.

Jeremy and Hailey were great hosts! The apartment was clean, cute, in a great neighborhood, and perfect for our stay. Plus, the pantry was stocked with general cooking items (coffee, excellent spices, oil, etc.). Most importantly, they were great communicators. Not only were the directions were clear and straightforward, but they replied quickly and kindly when my friends and I ran into a timing issue. 12/10 definitely recommend!

We absolutely loved this spot. Our host was amazing - so helpful and friendly! The space was perfect. So comfortable and stylish. Absolutely spotless! I cannot say enough positive things about this Airbnb. They thought of everything. Beds so comfortable too! Thank you so much to our hosts for providing the perfect place to stay while in town to celebrate our son's graduation. Only wish we had stayed there every time we came to visit!

Loved the proximity to the lake and to lakeside hiking trails with great views. Peaceful and quiet street. Suite was well thought out and provisioned. Very comfortable! Ricky and Greg were friendly, responsive and helpful with recommendations as well.

This place was amazing, quite relaxing tiny little town. Probably the cleanest place I've ever stayed. Had the perfect amenities for a long weekend. Didn't get a chance to enjoy the fire pits because of rain but covered porch was nice. Felt like no one was around but easily able to drive to civilization. I would 100% come back and so glad I found this place.

Beautiful views and gorgeous sunsets. So peaceful and relaxing if you want a getaway. We will be returning— that is how much we enjoyed our time at this cozy cottage filled with picturesque scenery and the sounds of nature.

Our only complaints about the weekend we spent here were that it was too short and the weather didn't fully cooperate. We found the accommodations quite comfortable, the kitchen was reasonably well equipped, and the house notebook was very helpful as we scrambled to adjust our plans to fit the stormy weather. We did get to tour the pond on the kayaks and watch the hummingbirds buzz all over the property from the hot tub. The local landscape has something to offer in every season and we're definitely hoping to clear more time on the calendar and make our way back.

Mary Lou’s place was absolutely phenomenal. I came in the middle of October, and it was peak cozy, fall vibes! The cabin next to the docks in the foliage felt like I was in a painting. I absolutely would love to come back and just cozy up under a blanket next to the fire place. Highly recommend staying in this gem of a place if you have the opportunity.

Updated, VERY clean. Perfect for the 4 of us. Relaxing area with nice porch area. Easy access to other sites. Beautiful lake only 2 shorts blocks away with with accessible lake access and lake neighborhood. Everything is as described on website. Would definitely stay there again.
