This guest house has been built and designed by my husband and I. It sits behind our house with private walking/biking trails right out your door. The design is modern with natural warm colors and tucked away in the trees. The loudest noise you will hear are the owls hooting and a faint distant train whistle two times a day. Our mission is to create an atmosphere of tranquility, calmness and peace. We offer mother nature outside your door with easy access to all the activities you desire.

Our property in Vermont is a slice of heaven: Set between Burlington & Stowe, 10 minutes off the main highway I-89, with quick access to the main spots in Vermont, but tucked down a dirt road with nothing but the sounds of the stream. On our property we built The Tuckaway Suite, an entirely private guest suite above our garage. Serene farmhouse surrounded by 14 acres of nature with pond view from your room. Super comfortable tempurpedic queen bed. First floor suite off main house with private entrance and deck with seating. Private attached his and hers bathroom. In room basic kitchenette (mini frig, microwave, keurig). Ideal for those seeking comfort, safety & nature, but 9 miles to Burlington and 5 mins to shops & restaurants. We are in a part of Essex that is rural (the village, Essex Junction is more city.)

Located in a mature, walkable Shelburne neighborhood, this sun-filled walkout basement suite is spacious and has a separate entrance. There is a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a full bathroom, an oversized living room that includes a ping pong table for your enjoyment. The mini-kitchen includes a microwave, toaster oven, mini-fridge, sink, and Keurig machine. During the warmer months, relax on the patio just outside the unit and enjoy comfortable dining outdoors.
