Staying here was such a delight! I would definitely like to stay a lot longer! The home is beautiful, clean and super cozy! This was a last minute decision for us to stay here, so glad we did! The 2 hour commute to the airport the next day was worth it! So clean. Very peaceful. The sauna with the cold pool right next to it was perfect. And having our own private onsen was awesome! The house was really clean and looked recently redone and new inside. Loved it. Wish I lived here!

Wir waren 2 Tage in der Unterkunft von Tomoko und fanden es super. Es ist ruhig, man hat einen super Ausblick auf den See und mit ein bisschen Glück auch auf den Mt Fuji. Wir haben auch die Fahrräder genutzt um zu den nächsten Vendingmaschines zu kommen. Jederzeit wieder!

Our family loved the location, privacy, and especially the Floor 5 Spa and Sauna. Proximity to shops, French bakery, and markets, were fantastic. We highly recommend this rental to others.

This stay is magical. Surrounded by a diverse array of artwork, sculpture and antiques, you’ll discover something new each time you walk through the house. The river’s sparkling energy constantly animating one side of the house and a giant ancient boulder quietly calming the other. The path is as charming as could be with surprises around every bend. The beds and seating are all comfortable. We wanted to eat in the house, and 7-11 was a few train stops away was the closest place I could find to buy supplies. There is a interesting tofu restaurant and a charming coffee shop within walking distance.

We loved our stay in Kamakura at this beautiful property. It felt like our own Japanese home. The living areas were spacious and very functional. We were really impressed by the modern and large (for Japanese standards) kitchen and the clean and functional bathroom spaces. It was really lovely sleeping upstairs as the room is surrounded with rice paper window coverings, and we had the glow of moonlight as we fell asleep and a sunlight glow in the morning. We could have easily stayed here for a number of weeks, and will definitely be back if we revisit Kamakura. Couldn't recommend this place enough.
