The cottage is wonderful and super cozy. It felt like home away from home. Jamie-Lee was a great host. Quick to respond and to action on requests, she provided great suggestions on things to in the towns near by. We would gladly come back next year!

Tracey and Rodney were great hosts. The home is beautiful. We enjoyed the gallery inside and the river views. The photos and description are accurate. It was great to re-explore Campbellford.

This was the best airbnb I have ever stayed in! We stayed for our wedding weekend - the natural lighting here was absolutely PERFECT. Super close to Peterborough! Sylvia not only let us take photos on the property, she gave us a free gift and offered for us to check out later the day after our wedding. It was also the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in at an airbnb. I cannot recommend more!

Chelsea’s place was absolutely beautiful ! Upon walking in the house, the view of the water is breathtaking and did not get old each morning while sipping our coffees. The home itself was very homey, and a great wide open space for gathering with friends. Chelsea was super helpful when booking, made recommendations and was super responsive during our stay with any questions we had. I would highly recommend a stay here - can’t get much closer to being “on the lake”!

It is perfect place for family, very quiet and beautiful area. The house was clean and cozy, warm inside, but we recommend to bring warm socks or slippers. The lake is a few minutes away from the house , it is very nice! I highly recommend this place for family celebrations😁

My best friend and I were looking for a place to go for a girls getaway. We both desperately needed to relax and unwind. Devon’s place was exactly what we hoped for. The hot tub and sauna were an added bonus. If you need peace, are looking to rest and relax or even go someplace close to amenities but that still feels secluded Devon’s little slice of heaven is exactly the spot you need. We will definitely be booking for a future girls trip for sure! 💗 5⭐️ place!

We stayed at the Marmora Retreat this past weekend with 16 girls and could not have had a better time! The property is beautiful, including a large deck with tons of space to play games and chill in the nice weather. Despite it raining for half of our weekend, the house's layout provided a lot of space for us to play games, relax, cook, and enjoy each other's company. The beds were super comfortable, and we all departed feeling refreshed after a weekend full of laughs. We are already talking about returning for another weekend during the summer to take advantage of the pool! We highly recommend the Marmora Retreat, and thank you so much, Brendan, for providing a space for all of us to get together comfortably!

We had a wonderful stay at Susan & Craig’s cottage by Rice Lake! The place was peaceful, clean, and beautifully located—perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was getting early access to their lovely pool, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made our trip even more enjoyable. Susan & Craig were kind and responsive hosts, and their attention to detail really showed. Would definitely recommend staying here and hope to visit again!

Heather’s cottage was amazing! Able to accommodate a group of guests without squishing or being in anyone’s way! A couple little insects wanted to join our weekend but nothing a paper towel and a double wipe with some all purpose cleaner couldn’t beat! After all it is a cottage! Amazing large space (especially that sunroom!) with lots of amenities (the hot tub, chrome cast, indoor speakers and pool were a BIG HIT)! Great for game nights and the sunsets were beautiful. Bunker house was also clean and very comfortable for some of guests to stay in! Overall great experience and our hosts were so nice and easy to talk to. Would recommend this cottage and would definitely book again!

We stayed at the North COTTAGE for a ladies work trip to Peterborough. Everything was as listed, and this was one of the cleanest Airbnbs I have stayed in! We really loved the coffee bar, and the morning view was beautiful. The hot tub and pool were very clean and great to use after a long day of training. Thanks for a pleasant stay, Mike!

We have stayed at Bertrand’s place a couple of times now and highly recommend this. It is a lovely home and very private. Bertrand is the perfect host…very helpful and responds quickly all the time.

We had the best time at this lovely place. Deborah and Ross are amazing hosts and incredibly kind people. Thank you for everything :) the place is also super clean and feels like home! If you are bothered by bugs, don’t miss out to visit the lovely little store ‘zebra with a different stripe’ to get some great all natural bug spray!

We loved staying at the Hello Sunshine cottage! The place was clean, comfortable, and immediately felt like our own little home away from home. The place feels private, the view is stunning, and it was a breath of fresh air to unplug from technology during our stay. The sunroom was perfect for completing puzzles during the day and the backyard was well equipped to enjoy a peaceful fire at night. Alanna was a great host and was very quick to communicate with us whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend staying at Hello Sunshine, and will definitely be booking again!

PJ was a great host. We really enjoyed our time, and the fishing in the area. Great spot for a good weekends away from home. The only two issues we ran into during our stay was the kitchen tap had very little water pressure, making washing dishes a little difficult. We also ran out of propane and realized the second tank, was also empty. We did go out and purchase one to use but took it home with us. Otherwise, we had a great stay and enjoyed the place.

The house was spotless and the garden was absolutely lovely. Both we and our dog had a wonderful time during our stay. We always bring our own sheets to Airbnb stays, but we couldn’t help noticing how fresh and clean the ones here smelled — that was a really nice touch. Many of the things we brought with us were already available in the house, which made everything so convenient. Hot water was always available, which made our stay even more comfortable. The garden was peaceful, filled only with the sounds of birds and frogs — it was truly relaxing to just listen to nature. Getting away from Toronto for a few days was exactly what we needed. Before we arrived, Dylan had kindly left firewood out in the yard for us — that was such a thoughtful gesture and we really appreciated it. As a suggestion, the double bed could use some improvement — it wasn’t very comfortable. Also, the mosquitoes were really intense; despite using repellent, we were bitten all over. A rural cabin with unexpected modern conveniences. Everything is new and works well. Beds and mattresses are great. Rare you find great comfortable mattresses. Sheets and blankets all smart freshly washed. Perfect for my dog. Private and safe. Bbq worked great and very hot. Not one thing disappointed me about this place. The host was happy to answer any questions. Even at 10.30 pm. Thank you it was great.

Great cottage with lots of room for family. We had 8 adults stay. Lots of room for everyone and lots to do. Good selection of games and books. Paddle boards, kayaks and a tandem kayak for those who like to paddle together. Would definitely book again.

My husband and I, along with our two adventurous pups, absolutely loved our cozy cottage escape in the Kawarthas! This place had everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing retreat. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of privacy, even in a small neighborhood—those tall bushes really made it feel like our own little hideaway. Our dogs were in heaven, running around the beautifully manicured backyard with plenty of space to explore. Inside, the cottage was just as charming, with adorable, cozy bedrooms and a kitchen stocked with everything we needed, whether we were grilling outside or whipping up a delicious meal indoors. The kitchen appliances were spotless and felt brand new. And the view from the living room? Simply stunning! We spent countless hours just soaking in the beautiful lakeside scenery right from the comfort of the couch. Although we didn’t get as much fishing in as we’d hoped, we’re already planning our next trip back! Big thanks to Mel & Stu!
