If you are thinking of staying here, do it! This is an amazing home and somehow even better in person. It’s very close to the train station (we walked it with a baby and luggage and had no issue. No steep incline and mostly paved). Jacuzzi spa, sauna and laundry in the basement. Tucked away on a quiet street but right in the middle of town (next to the oldest hotel in zermatt). Marc was extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly. This spot is more of a 5 star hotel with the extra space and private amenities. We would come back in a heartbeat. Beyond impressed. There’s a reason why the reviews are all glowing.

We had a great time staying here. The views are amazing and the cabin is very cosy, very well laid out and really well equipped for cooking as well as with games, books, maps and activities for children. We visited in early June which was a great time with lots of lovely alpine flowers. Most of the walking routes were accessible although there was still quite a bit of snow on some of the higher paths in the area. Just to point out since we didn't realise, Swiss plugs are different to those in many other European countries and so you need to bring the correct adaptors if coming from outside Switzerland. We would definitely recommend staying here.

We spent 3 days in Konrad's beautiful apartment. The apartment is as described in the photos (on the ground floor of one of the beautiful old houses). The bed is really very comfortable and on the small terrace in front of the front door we enjoyed breakfast and dinner - with great views! It should also be mentioned that the kitchen is really well equipped!

This place is unlike any other- one you will never forget! Spectacular view! This place has everything you need- just as described.

9.5/10 Review for Max Chalet Gimmelwald Max Chalet was perfect for our family of three—a fantastic base for a mountain getaway! Surroundings: Gimmelwald is stunning, with hiking right outside the door. We loved the Northface Trail and the easy gondola access to Mürren, Schilthorn, and the valley. Parking at Stechelberg was only $10/day. Entertainment: Hiking was our main activity—beautiful trails and mountain huts. Pension Gimmelwald and Mountain Hostel next door offer meals, drinks, and great pizza (8.5/10). Food: Dining options nearby, more in Mürren, and a grocery store for essentials to cook at Max. The House: Spacious, cozy, clean, with big windows framing epic views. Well-equipped kitchen, laundry room, and a great patio. Quiet at night (bring a fan for white noise). Floors creak but didn’t bother us. Host: Marianne was super responsive and helpful. Summary: We’d absolutely stay again—9.5/10! (We’ve never given a 10, so this is top marks from us!)

5 stars - nothing to complain about. Great apartment, very well equipped, with beautiful views. Acceptable distance to the ski lift (~300 m). Absolutely recommended. Nice hostess. Anytime again.

We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful home nestled at the bottom of the mountain in Lauterbrunnen. The views were absolutely breathtaking. Waking up each morning to waterfalls cascading down the cliffs and the sound of birds echoing through the valley felt like something out of a fairytale. The home itself was spotless and cozy. A Swiss charm! The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were super comfortable. The location is ideal, peaceful and quiet, yet just a short walk from the train station and local shops. We loved hiking during the day and returning to this serene retreat in the evenings. Veronique was incredibly welcoming and responsive, offering great tips for exploring the area. We can’t recommend this place enough and would return in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for a magical escape in the heart of the Swiss Alps, this is it!

Excellent experience in a very peaceful and natural setting. House with attention to detail, clean and equipped with everything you need. Paolo and Manuela (and Nala) are very kind and helpful. Definitely experience to do again.

A home for families to visit. You can see Eiger and Fischerhorn Shreckhorn from the accommodation. The view that changes every hour makes your trip colorful while you stay.

A great place for 2 families, or for a larger group, has everything you need and more! Fantastic views, peaceful surrounding and enough space to enjoy and relax. Nicole was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely recommend her place.

Our stay in the chalet was great, a feeling of being alone in the world in the middle of the forest, with nevertheless superb services and incredible comfort! Access is not easy and you have to plan ahead for shopping etc, but it's nothing compared to the view and the environment, the calm, which are really exceptional! Relaxation guaranteed!! In addition Charlotte was very accommodating and responsive to all our requests, I would highly recommend it and hope to come back to recharge here! Thank you!!

If you have a big group. Please stay here. You won’t regret it. Actually I made it a point to come back early everyday to Francisco’s house to enjoy the view. The wine he recommended was excellent and especially good with the view.

Absolutely loved our stay here in the Swiss mountains. Could not ask for a more beautiful setting. While the road to the home is a touch narrow, the google maps directions took us directly there. I would recommend trying to get there in the daytime if possible, both for the views and the first time navigating the road. Once inside everything was pristine and perfectly decorated. The beds were comfortable and the space inviting with more than enough room for our family of 5 with older kids. Alexander was a kind and accommodating host with excellent communication and gave us some great recommendations on visiting Stockhorn (absolutely beautiful). If we are ever in the area again, we would not hesitate to stay with Alexander.

Patrice was extremely helpful, rather than long texts he was kind enough to call to explain things quickly. The place was superb it was like a dream everywhere you looked there was a huge mountain in the background. I would say our chalet was the best because it was one of the highest ones and most private. I proposed there and it's a place I will certainly never forget.

We had a wonderful time at Melvin and Cristina's beautiful chalet. The house makes it easy to settle in quickly and has incredible lake and mountain views. We enjoyed the equipment with sauna and Jaccuzi and would recommend this place at any time.

Our stay at this stunning Airbnb in Iseltwald, Switzerland, was nothing short of magical! The location is breathtaking, nestled right by Lake Brienz with picture-perfect views that made every moment feel like a postcard. The home itself was cozy, impeccably clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was absolutely exceptional, going above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable. From thoughtful touches like local tips and a warm welcome to accommodating our needs with such care, they truly elevated our experience. The highlight was the incredible boat ride they arranged on the lake—gliding across the turquoise waters surrounded by mountains was a memory we’ll cherish forever. The stay in this fabulous chalet was just amazing. And we really enjoyed the relaxing sauna and fireplace evenings. The surrounding with the lake and the mountains is just stunning. The chalet itself is very well equipped with everything you need especially the kitchen. We totally recommend this chalet.

Very good stay in a small Savoyard mazot, very peaceful and beautiful environment with a magnificent view, beautiful walks nearby. Everything you need for 2 people, with small balcony and table in the garden. We recommend!

We were allowed to spend a very nice week in the chalet of François as a family (2 adults, 2 children). François greeted us personally and showed us everything important in and around the chalet. He also gave us some tips for exploring the area. The chalet with the rooms, kitchen, bathroom were very clean and as described on the pictures. The view of the lake from the living room is great! On our departure day, François came by again, so we could do the check-out together and say goodbye to François personally. We enjoyed the week very much and recommend the chalet as a very nice place to spend nice days in and around it.

Charming place in a great location. Everything you need is available. Ideal for relaxing and switching off. The region offers many opportunities for excursions, activities, walking and eating. Pleasant camping with friendly residents and helpful staff. Ideal for us as a family with two children! We also enjoyed the proximity to the lake to the fullest. Franziska was always accessible and supportive in all matters. Great! It was great, thank you.
