If you are thinking of staying here, do it! This is an amazing home and somehow even better in person. It’s very close to the train station (we walked it with a baby and luggage and had no issue. No steep incline and mostly paved). Jacuzzi spa, sauna and laundry in the basement. Tucked away on a quiet street but right in the middle of town (next to the oldest hotel in zermatt). Marc was extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly. This spot is more of a 5 star hotel with the extra space and private amenities. We would come back in a heartbeat. Beyond impressed. There’s a reason why the reviews are all glowing.

We had a great time staying here. The views are amazing and the cabin is very cosy, very well laid out and really well equipped for cooking as well as with games, books, maps and activities for children. We visited in early June which was a great time with lots of lovely alpine flowers. Most of the walking routes were accessible although there was still quite a bit of snow on some of the higher paths in the area. Just to point out since we didn't realise, Swiss plugs are different to those in many other European countries and so you need to bring the correct adaptors if coming from outside Switzerland. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Wir haben 3 Tage in der schönen Wohnung von Konrad verbracht. Die Wohnung ist wie auf den Fotos beschrieben (im Erdgeschoss eines der schönen alten Häuser). Das Bett ist wirklich sehr bequem und auf der kleinen Terrasse vor der Haustür haben wir - mit toller Aussicht- Zmorgen und Znacht genossen! Auch noch zu erwähnen ist, dass die Küche wirklich gut ausgestattet ist!

9.5/10 Review for Max Chalet Gimmelwald Max Chalet was perfect for our family of three—a fantastic base for a mountain getaway! Surroundings: Gimmelwald is stunning, with hiking right outside the door. We loved the Northface Trail and the easy gondola access to Mürren, Schilthorn, and the valley. Parking at Stechelberg was only $10/day. Entertainment: Hiking was our main activity—beautiful trails and mountain huts. Pension Gimmelwald and Mountain Hostel next door offer meals, drinks, and great pizza (8.5/10). Food: Dining options nearby, more in Mürren, and a grocery store for essentials to cook at Max. The House: Spacious, cozy, clean, with big windows framing epic views. Well-equipped kitchen, laundry room, and a great patio. Quiet at night (bring a fan for white noise). Floors creak but didn’t bother us. Host: Marianne was super responsive and helpful. Summary: We’d absolutely stay again—9.5/10! (We’ve never given a 10, so this is top marks from us!)

We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful home nestled at the bottom of the mountain in Lauterbrunnen. The views were absolutely breathtaking. Waking up each morning to waterfalls cascading down the cliffs and the sound of birds echoing through the valley felt like something out of a fairytale. The home itself was spotless and cozy. A Swiss charm! The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were super comfortable. The location is ideal, peaceful and quiet, yet just a short walk from the train station and local shops. We loved hiking during the day and returning to this serene retreat in the evenings. Veronique was incredibly welcoming and responsive, offering great tips for exploring the area. We can’t recommend this place enough and would return in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for a magical escape in the heart of the Swiss Alps, this is it!

Our stay here was exceptional and the host was outstanding in her communication and assistance. After busy days it was wonderful to have a clean, quiet, comfortable place to relax in. I took many pictures from the deck of the beautiful mountain range. Kenzie went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect.

A great place for 2 families, or for a larger group, has everything you need and more! Fantastic views, peaceful surrounding and enough space to enjoy and relax. Nicole was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely recommend her place.

Notre séjour dans le chalet était génial, une impression d’être seuls au monde en pleine forêt, avec malgré tout de superbes prestations et un confort incroyable! L’accès n’est pas facile et il faut anticiper les courses etc, mais ce n’est rien comparé à la vue et l’environnement, le calme, qui sont vraiment exceptionnels! Détente assurée!! De plus Charlotte a été très arrangeante et réactive pour toutes nos demandes, je recommande fortement et espère revenir me ressourcer ici! Merci !!

Stunning chalet in the middle of Grindelwald. Excellent for our family holiday. Would highly recommend this home for your next vacation in the Swiss Alps

Absolutely loved our stay here in the Swiss mountains. Could not ask for a more beautiful setting. While the road to the home is a touch narrow, the google maps directions took us directly there. I would recommend trying to get there in the daytime if possible, both for the views and the first time navigating the road. Once inside everything was pristine and perfectly decorated. The beds were comfortable and the space inviting with more than enough room for our family of 5 with older kids. Alexander was a kind and accommodating host with excellent communication and gave us some great recommendations on visiting Stockhorn (absolutely beautiful). If we are ever in the area again, we would not hesitate to stay with Alexander.

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Zeit verbracht in Melvin und Cristina's schönem Chalet. Das Haus macht es einfach sich schnell einzuleben und hat eine unglaubliche Aussicht auf den See und die Berge. Die Ausstattung mit Sauna und Jaccuzi haben wir sehr genossen und würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit weiter empfehlen.

Our stay at this stunning Airbnb in Iseltwald, Switzerland, was nothing short of magical! The location is breathtaking, nestled right by Lake Brienz with picture-perfect views that made every moment feel like a postcard. The home itself was cozy, impeccably clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was absolutely exceptional, going above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable. From thoughtful touches like local tips and a warm welcome to accommodating our needs with such care, they truly elevated our experience. The highlight was the incredible boat ride they arranged on the lake—gliding across the turquoise waters surrounded by mountains was a memory we’ll cherish forever. The stay in this fabulous chalet was just amazing. And we really enjoyed the relaxing sauna and fireplace evenings. The surrounding with the lake and the mountains is just stunning. The chalet itself is very well equipped with everything you need especially the kitchen. We totally recommend this chalet.

Un séjour parfait, au calme, au pied du lac. Le cadre est magnifique et le logement est super. Très agréable. Albane est très réactive et disponible. Je garde le lieu en mémoire pour y revenir !

Très bon séjour dans un petit mazot savoyard, environnement très paisible et très beau avec une vue magnifique, de belles promenades à proximité. Tout le nécessaire pour 2 personnes, avec petit balcon et table dans le jardin. Nous recommandons !

Toll gelegene Unterkunft, kulturell schöner Ort mit vielen Möglichkeiten etwas zu unternehmen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Charmante Unterkunft an toller Lage. Alles Nötige vorhanden. Ideal zum entspannen und ausschalten. Die Region bietet viele Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge, Aktivitäten, Spazieren und Essen. Angenehmer Camping mit freundlichen Bewohnenden und hilfsbereitem Personal. Für uns als Familie mit zwei Kindern ideal! Auch die Nähe zum See haben wir in vollen Zügen genossen. Franziska war jederzeit erreichbar und unterstützend in allen Belangen. Top! Es war toll, vielen Dank.

Ses hôtes au top un village avec toutes les commodités à pieds en 2 min ( 50m de la boulangerie) sans subir les désagréments, car le logement est de très bonne qualité et au réellement au calme. La sono mise à disposition facilement est un bon exemple de la qualité et du soin apporté au logt. Jérôme et Laetitia disponible si besoin; un grand merci à eux car les enfants ont oublié et un jeu dans la chambre: jeu en départ par chronoposte. un bel exemple à citer merci mercion reviendra sans aucun doute car la vue sur le Mont Blanc est fantastique
