This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, no shower or wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

On top of a ridge of Sugar Maples is a 400 sq foot cabin sitting on a lovely piece of Canadian Shield. The cabin is open concept and is well appointed with a super comfy queen-sized bed, a wood stove, and an off-grid kitchen, additional sleeping is on a sofa bed. This is glamping at its finest! The cabin is located at the rear of our 20-acre property with trails and wildlife to explore. ***Please note that you will have to walk approximately 200 metres to the cabin from where you park.

The Woodland Escape

Step back in time. Experience living in a one room cabin heated by a wood stove and lit by candles and lanterns. Your bathroom is an outhouse. There is no running water or electricity. You can ski, snowshoe or hike on the 40 acre property. Also, within minutes of the cabin are numerous trail systems, lakes and beaches. Thompson Cottages – Cottage #2 – Moira Lake

This brand new, 1050sqft, beautiful lakefront cottage on Moira Lake is one of three cottages on 1.2 acres. Close to all amenities in Madoc ( 5 min away). Moira Lake is 2 hours from Toronto. Poplar Grove Camping Cabin is for those who desire a camping experience with a few comforts of home. “Glamping”. The cabin sits on the edge of a scenic wooded area on our 40 acre property. Our location features a beautiful waterfall, wooded trails and a spectacular starry sky. The property is situated between Kingston and Belleville, 15 minutes north of Napanee, off the 401 highway. Nearby are wineries, hiking trails and the Sandbanks.

It is conveniently across the road from the Cataraqui Trail. The well-maintained, beautiful trail is ideal for nature-enthusiasts who enjoy hiking, cycling or jogging.
