Nature lovers' place on the Moira River

4 cousins in our late 50's for a 3 night stay. We have been doing this annually for 30+ years. I can honestly say this has been one of the all-time best stays. The manual in the cottage highlights all of the things to visit & do within 30 minutes. Tweed & Madoc may not have many options for roadhouse & higher-end restaurants but Belleville is a quick 30 minute drive with tons of options. That didn't matter to us as we bought groceries & enjoyed salads, meats & chacuterie because we didn't want to leave the beautiful surroundings. The kitchen is fully equipped whether you do gourmet or quick meals. The kitchen table was perfect to gather around for meals, games and gabbing. The living room & outdoor living space were cozy, comfy & beautifully decorated. The entire house decor was stunning. Minimal & gorgeous. The outdoor & indoor fireplaces add to the coziness. The outdoor ping pong table, inflatable boat and kayaks looked brand new. Running out of space; so much more to say...dang 🙂

Had an amazing stay, was very beautiful property and very peaceful! Perfect for a getaway and perfect if you have dogs! Comfortable and cozy cabin!

I can only agree with the other positive reviews. My husband and I spent two nights in Nancy and Gerrit's accommodation on our road trip in the USA and Canada. After a few exhausting days, we were looking for peace and relaxation in beautiful surroundings and that's exactly what we found. The accommodation is very spacious and lovingly furnished and has everything you need. Nancy and Gerrit are wonderful hosts who helped us immediately with any questions we had. If our travel time wasn't limited, we would definitely have stayed longer. Many thanks for everything!

Amy was a pleasure to met, she was so friendly and kind. She’s done such a wonderful job with this beautiful space. It was unique and inviting and had everything I needed. I loved the bird’s nest space at the top of the spiral staircase and all the windows throughout. The view was amazing! It’s secluded enough that you can just sit back in the hot tub, on the screened-in porch or in the hammock and just relax. But, it’s also not too far from a couple of towns where there’s coffee shops, restaurants and stores etc. I would definitely recommend and hope to come back again!

From the very first moment, we felt completely at home. The house is exactly as described – very spacious, thoughtfully decorated, and full of charming details. We didn’t miss a thing. Kelly welcomed us so warmly – including freshly baked rhubarb-lemon scones 😍 She also had great tips for exploring the area and provided brochures with local recommendations. Kelly and her husband Owen are truly lovely people who made us feel genuinely welcome. The house is surrounded by nature – the perfect place to unwind. A place we’d love to return to 😊

Had a beautiful weekend away in the dome! We loved the area and the dome itself was also beautiful. Our little dog had an absolute blast too! And despite the cold temperatures, the dome and Anna were prepared for everything. The only issue was the first night it was very buggy, but that was to be expected in the location and we had the tools provided to deal with it! Would highly recommend :)

Our stay at the Tiny Village, Dome was absolutely wonderful! The space was impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The shower was a standout feature--modern and refreshing--while the large deck provided the perfect spot to savor our morning coffee, all while taking in the breathtaking view. One of the best parts of our visit was how dog-friendly the place is. We never travel without our 2 little Shih Tzu's, and seeing them enjoying themselves, made our experience even more special. Knowing that our pup's were welcome was a huge bonus for us! The dock on the water below the Dome was a fantastic addition to the getaway. Even though the water in May was a bit chilly, it didn’t stop a few of us from jumping in! Luckily, the cozy campfire afterward made for the perfect way to warm up. The Dome is an absolute gem-offering relaxation, nature, and unforgettable moments. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway
