Shepherds hut vacation rentals in Central Europe

Christophe is a very attentive and welcoming host. He built all the cabins with his own hands and they are all very beautiful and unique. The setting is beautiful. We had a great weekend.

We were very happy. Great sleeping, high quality amenities, homemade breakfast, board games, all welcoming and kind, kids passionate about the hills around the bay and sleigh cottage, which will also lend you for free, you can buy home products if it was and is a fruitful year, a bit is Filzmoos, where there is perfect skiing for children, on the other side of Therma Amadé, great bathing in salt and sweet water and outdoor and water slides, we also visited the city of Berchtesgarden in Germany on the way back - the children were passionate about from the salt mines. Thank you and we will be happy to come back :-) I just recommend chains. We didn't have them and we went everything, but the certainty is certain :-)

I had a fantastic time with my dog at Martine's – it couldn't have been better. A true oasis of peace and quiet. Perfect for reading, relaxing and hiking. The hiking trails start right outside the front door, and the region is simply beautiful. However, I recommend using a navigation app, as the hiking trails are sometimes not particularly well signposted and there are many paths. The cottage is small but very cozy and lovingly furnished. There's really nothing missing. Even a small dishwasher is available. Everything else you need for a short stay is also there – from salt, sugar, oil to kitchen towels, soap and toilet paper. At my request, if there is a grill, Martine even got one – including charcoal & lighter. Thank you, Martine! I've rarely had such a well-equipped accommodation. I'm looking forward to coming back with my husband next time.

Upon arrival, Michael was at work and Anja came out to welcome me. She was very friendly, spoke fluent English (always easy!) and gave a short tour and explanation about everything from the TinyHouse and the other usable spaces. There was even some local drink in the fridge, chocolates ready and fresh flowers on the table. My entire stay she answered every question I had immediately or fairly quickly, which was super nice! Anja and her family are here to help you where you need it. In addition, the TinyHouse is very charming and small, with a bed that you have to fold down. I have enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, the delicious fresh local eggs strawberries from the region (at Coop) were the tastiest I had eaten in a long time and also the fresh milk was delicious at breakfast. Finally, I made a fire in the fire basket every evening, wonderful end of the day!

We had a great time at the Friesenhof. The shepherdpherd's wagon meadow lodge and the kitty wagon were super cozy. The view out over the meadow was simply wonderful. The farm has a lot to offer for children. A large kettcar garage, lots of animals and a playhouse with table soccer. We felt very comfortable and had a great vacation. Thank you dear Christina

We got married in the beach chair on Pellworm and the shepherd's wagon was our accommodation for the week. From arrival to departure, everything was perfect, you have a great team! Always helpful, experienced, but never intrusive! For any questions during the day, you can also reach me via WA. The accommodation was exactly as described, the group of gypsy wagons offers enough privacy and a wonderfully cozy atmosphere, both inside and on the terrace. I would gladly stay again 😃

What a setting! If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet place to recharge, you have knock on the right door! The accommodation is located in a beautiful private park, very well maintained where you are one with nature. You have access to a beautiful pool and pond where you can pedal boat for free! Another family was on the site, but the park is so large that it's easy to find a quiet little spot for a picnic or a nap in the shade of the trees. Finally the Lac du Malsaucy is only 5 minutes by car!

Thank you to Sandra, her children and the people who work at the goat farm for the welcome we received. We spent 2 days of total disconnection in an incredible setting. The opportunity to come and see the milking, listen to the sounds of the forest, hear the birds, spend our days outside was really enjoyable. In addition, everything is designed for a family stay, the small children's trailer was very popular with our 2½-year-old boy. The trailer we were in was very comfortable, nice and suited to our needs. We will repeat a future stay and surely at the same time because the weather was perfect 👍🏼

We had three wonderful days in the lovingly designed shepherd's hut, surrounded by nature. Thank you, Michelle and André, for sharing this place with your guests. If you long for peace and quiet, just want to “be”, this is the place to be. What a wonderful place for humans and animals. My dogs also thoroughly enjoyed the little adventure. We are already thinking about when we will come back…

We had a great stay in the construction trailer and on the natural property. The "bathroom" with a small shower and separate compost toilet was completely fine on our part. The construction trailer was very clean and some dishes and a kettle were also there. (There is also a very new outdoor swimming pool a 3-minute walk away.) We love it with you!

If you want to relax for a few days, this is the place to be! Far and wide hardly any people and lots of nature. Nevertheless, you can drive directly to Morzine in a few minutes and visit restaurants and bars. We would always come back!

Very good stay, Stephanie is very welcoming and attentive. She's always responsive to the different activities and questions from guests. Well-located accommodation 800m from the beach, very quiet and soothing. A place that is highly recommended.

Despite the heavy rain, we enjoyed our stay in the caravan. Everything was clean, beautiful environment, comfortable beds, there is simply nothing to complain about. In addition, Mr. Vojtěch is a very welcoming and pleasant host. We will definitely be happy to return and recommend the accommodation to anyone looking for an escape from the city to an oasis of peace.

For our first time in France, we were able to spend our time here with Eric and Natacha. A beautiful, quiet area with an inviting accommodation to relax with everything you need. 15 minutes by car you will find everything your heart desires. The Nordic Bath seduced us on the first day and was simply a dream with the location. Eric and Natacha were very accommodating and friendly, with good advice about the area. That was exactly what we needed. If we visit France again, we know where to turn. Thank you☺️ very much!

Camilla is a wonderful person and her farm is beautiful and impressive. You will probably meet her wonderful family on the farm and see how present and engaged they are in the life there. The cabin was exactly how the pictures and description said, the property is beautiful, you can wake up to a sunrise and sound of birds. We enjoyed using the dry toilet, which was very clean and pleasant to use. If you are looking for a natural healthy place to stay where you can enjoy the beauty of the world, this is it. It is as close as it gets to the real life and real good and kind people living in it, which is what you will feel immediately when you step onto the farm and meet Camilla and her family. We will definitely try to find our way back there in the future with our children.

2 days of complete disconnection, quiet, close to snowy trails for great walks... and very good cheese producers with direct sales. 😉

We had a lovely stay! Loes was quick to respond and very helpful! The area is perfect if you love hiking, biking and running. We had good weather so we sat outside with a view of the horses! Perfect location for a weekend getaway!

Very nice host, absolutely sufficient accommodation for us, everything as described and photos, nice attention as a gift for guests on arrival will please. There is nothing wrong with the place, perhaps only a few deer under the window when waking up, plenty of hares 😄 Really nice place on the edge of the village, but plenty of privacy ensured.

Really great place and sweet hosts! The beads and linen are amazing and the area is really nice. There is no too much privacy at the location. Be prepared for the possibly cold shower and the somewhat long way to the bathroom. Overall good price value!

Great place to stay! We stayed in the shepherd's hut on our bikepacking tour along the Kylltal bike path and enjoyed the beautiful location in nature and the cozy decor! Thank you very much!

We loved it in Moritz's shepherd's wagon, very idyllic in the countryside, and nicely shady on hot days. We were able to unwind and everything you needed was there. We will definitely be back and then also do a canoe tour!
