Family-friendly vacation rentals in Cefalù

Lorenzo was very kind and discreet but always available if needed. The accommodation is more than adequate for a holiday stay with beautiful outdoor terraces and swimming pool with great views overlooking the sea. We did not have a car but a local bus is just a few minutes away for Cefalu. Beach is in walking distance. I would highly recommend if one is seeking a peaceful holiday

Wunderschöne Unterkunft in den Bergen von Campofelice di Roccella. Ruhige Lage, sehr privat und liebevoll eingerichtet. In der Casa della Ceramica hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wir hatten eine schönen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft. Die Aussicht und der Pool sind wirklich perfekt und laden ein zum entspannen.

Wow! From the moment we arrived Francesco and Cynthia made us feel welcome, at home and we left feeling like part of their family. The house is absolutely beautiful and we had a wonderful, private section with everything we needed - including a lovely outdoor shower, table and chairs. The private pool was perfect for a dip after our day trip to Palermo. It’s just a few minutes walk to the beautiful Mondello beach, and lots of bars and restaurants. They responded to every request immediately - even driving to the supermarket to buy us bottles of water! Cynthia even wrote a plan for us when visiting Palermo - which we used and worked perfectly. We’ll remember this holiday forever because we got engaged on the trip. But also because we met such wonderful people and stayed in such a beautiful home - thank you Francesco and Cynthia! As promised, we will definitely be back one day ❤️

We had a great time staying at the large spacious villa. A real nice view from the terrace on the pool and sea and garden! Very friendly and helpful host Guiseppe. I can really recommend this beautiful villa!

Beautiful, comfortable modern accomodation

We stayed at Lampeduso for 3 nights and it definitely wasn’t long enough. It’s such a great Airbnb in a perfect location. Palermo is such an interesting city, with its mix of cultures and all its gritty charm. The palace was perfect. It rained for two of the days we were there, but because the villa was so fantastic, the weather didn’t affect us at all. The place is huge, with great amenities that made a big difference—washer and dryer for our soaked clothes, umbrellas ready to go, and plenty of space to enjoy a good card game. When the sun did come out, we spent early evenings on the patio next to the pool. Honestly, the villa alone makes us want to return to Palermo.

Excellent, breath taking, we loved the place

A very cute apartment with everything one would need. Having a washing machine came in very handy. The location could not have been better. 4 minutes from the beach, and 2 from one of the major streets for shopping and restaurants. There was a bottle of homemade lemoncello in the fridge as well as a selection of artisanal wines being sold for less than 5 euro. The footwash at the entrance to apartment was a nice touch, both for removing beach sand for the guests and for keeping the space sand free. Paolo was an excellent and extremely friendly host. It would have been nice to meet him in person, but all our communication was super warm and friendly. If Cefalu ever becomes part of another Sicilian vacation, I will definitely try to stay at casa Adrienne.

Vincenzo und sein Sohn Antonio sind großartige Gastgeber. Wir haben uns in der FeWo vom ersten Tag sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Küche hat alles, wad man benötigt. Die gesamte Wohnung ist sehr gut und modern eingerichtet. Die Terrasse ist zur Nordseite ausgerichtet. D h., dass es in der Vorsaison dort zum längeren Sitzen ggf. noch etwas kühl ist. Es gibt aber einen wunderschönen hinteren Bereich, der durch die Südausrichtung zum aufwärmen einlädt. Im Sommer ist man bestimmt dankbar, dass die Terrasse nur in den frühen Morgenstunden in der Sonne liegt. Nach Cefalu kann man ohne Probleme laufen [1,6 km] und erspart sich somit den Parkstress. Geheimtipp: Auch unten am Hafen darf [noch] kostenlos geparkt werden. Wir können die FeWo sehr empfehlen.

L'esperienza nell'alloggio di Giuseppe è stata più che positiva. Host molto reattivo e disponibile per ogni esigenza. Zona tranquillissima. Un plauso al letto che è risultato molto confortevole. L'alloggio rispondeva alla descrizione dell'annuncio. Se dovessimo tornare in quella zona cercheremo di alloggiare nuovamente da Giuseppe. Consiglio a tutti questa esperienza.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in Vincenzos Wohnung. Die Unterkunft ist mitten in der Altstadt und ist dennoch sehr ruhig in einem Hinterhof gelegen. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und das Meer sind gut zu erreichen. Auf der Terrasse kann man schön entspannen. Sehr familienfreundlich und gut ausgestattet mit Zubehör. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Gerne wieder :)

Die beste Unterkunft die wir je hatten. Die Lage ist ein Traum - privat, in einer malerischen Landschaft, mit tollen Möglichkeiten zum Wandern. Das Bauernhaus ist liebevoll saniert und eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht (sogar mit Sauna). Die beiden Hunde sowie Esel und Pferde sind wunderbar und Manfredi einfach ein toller und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Wir haben unsere Zeit dort sehr genossen und würden gerne wieder kommen. 😊

Ok, so many people mention the flights of stairs. so, ignoring that. the property is very quiet given it is in the heart of old town Palermo. Air con is effective, the property is smart/chic, the location is amazingly central with short walks to major sightseeing areas. We sat on terraced an soaked in the sun, the sounds and watched the Swifts soaring. Antonio was flexible and helpful. you should also take note of he's house recommendations for all local amenities... excellent. Grazie Antonio.

We had a great stay, the location is perfect, few minutes from the beach and around the corner from the main square. Francesco is helpful and friendly and always available for advice/tips. I would definitely stay again if I was coming back to Cefalu.

To begin our stay, Alessandra met us on the street, and found us in our car (We were stressed and looking for her pre arranged parking spot). She was a welcome sight! She then procured a taxi to wisk us to the apartment. She met us there and explained everything. It is a beautiful place, in the best location in Cefalu possible! Everything in the apartment is 5 star quality. AC is great. Beach is 15 steps away. If you have children they can safely go to the beach on their own. The beach is super clean, clear and refreshing. The perfect dive/jump spot is right outside off the pier! Endless entertainment for everyone. The kitchen is fully equipped, clothes washer works great and shower is wonderful. If this place is available do not hesitate to book! You will be in the middle of old Cefalu but the home is quiet and peaceful. Great places to eat within steps.

We had the most splendid 6 days at this beautiful villa. The views were beautiful and the area was very peaceful. The villa was exceptionally equipped, allowing us to cook, bbq etc. We slept really well and have come away refreshed and relaxed from our lovely stay. You will need a car, but this allowed us to take a trip to Agrigento and multiple visits to Cefalu. Anna and her husband were extremely kind and friendly.

Dario was incredible! Casa Fortuna was the perfect place to stay. We are 2 girlfriends in our 30s. This spot is extremely walkable to everything fun! Right around the corner from the grocery and restaurants. Dario was helpful in getting us access to a beach club to rent chairs. He gave local recommendations and has a cute store in the square. Mondello is the place to stay, and day trip to Palermo. The accommodation is perfect. He coordinated our airport transfers to and from Palermo airport (20mins) and was there to check us in and show us around. The view is as beautiful as pictured!! We cannot wait to come back.

Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt in idyllischer Atmosphäre. Unsere Hosts waren sehr sympathisch und entspannt und wir hatten nette Gespräche zwischendurch, da sie gleich nebenan wohnen. Das Haus und der Garten ganz bezaubernd, die umliegende Gegend perfekt zum Wandern. Super Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Absolut einen Aufenthalt Wert!

I can’t recommend this gorgeous loft enough, my partner and I loved it. It felt so private and nothing like we have stayed in before. It really felt like a little home in Palermo. The home was so well equipped with all the amenities we needed which made cooking so easy. To top it off Alessandro and Maria were amazing hosts. So accommodating and responsive for anything we needed. Alessandro took time to recommend places around the whole city and this really made our trip. He helped us book a private transfer back to their airport late at night as well. If we get back to Palermo, this is where we would stay again.

Tinky was great. Greater us, showed us around the apartment. The rooftop was amazing. He explained everything and was always available. Apartment right above a grocery store which was extremely convenient. Less than a 10 minute walk to the old city’s

Wauw, wat een plek! Terre di Bea is werkelijk een supermooie locatie met een fantastisch uitzicht vanaf de verschillende terrassen rondom het huis en bij het zwembad. De plung pool was perfect om even heerlijk af te koelen na een wandeling, en de buitenkeuken maakte het extra leuk om samen de lekkerste ontbijtjes, lunches en diners te bereiden. Wij zijn een gezin van 5 (met kinderen van 4, 7 en 9 jaar) en hebben ons hier enorm vermaakt. Luie ochtendjes aan het zwembad wisselden we af met actieve uitstapjes naar Cefalù en de omgeving – met fijne strandjes, gezellige restaurantjes en sfeervolle middeleeuwse straatjes om doorheen te slenteren. Ons verblijf bij Terre di Bea was echt het hoogtepunt van de vakantie. Dankjewel Antonio voor alles!

I’m almost at a loss of where to begin with how much my family and I enjoyed Diego’s incredible accommodation and hospitality! As a beach fanatic, this was the perfect location to enjoy a private and gorgeous location on the Mediterranean. No picture can do justice to the jaw-dropping water and the hours I happily spent wandering the coastline. Others have mentioned the generous spread of local treats Diego and his family provided - I can not overstate how helpful and welcome this was throughout our stay. Because of this, we were able to enjoy home cooked meals most nights; not because we were intending to be frugal (we are vacationing after all!), but because the items he provided were just that copious and delicious. The property grounds are lush and pristine, the bedrooms comfortable, clean and well-appointed, and the craftsmanship of the home is gorgeous. Most importantly perhaps, Diego and his family made US feel like family. Responsive, warm & a true taste of hospitality.
