My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. Hosts live next door and are easily available if needed! Everything is on the 1st floor except for the 3rd bedroom.

Chicago's attractions & Hard Rock Casino are < 30 mins away.

"Barn" turned into a guesthouse on 4 acres of owners residential property where you will enjoy peace and quiet, take a walk on trails through 2 acres of woods, take a short drive to Lake Michigan or the Indiana Dunes National Park or just sit inside at an electric fireplace. We are located 5.9 miles (approximately 12 minutes) from the Dunes National Park. Second STR available on same property that also sleeps 5 people if you have a group!

Wind down and enjoy the country. Pomme Place, our private three bedroom apartment at Apple Blossom Trails, has a private entrance and the amenities of home. We have an apple orchard to roam, animals to watch, an adjacent playground and a great spot for bird watching. A large private deck extends from the apartment providing the perfect place to enjoy an evening. We live on site, adjacent to the apartment. We also have Paul, our musical security person, on site living in a mobile home.

Welcome to our modern minimalist tiny house located a half mile from Warren Dunes State Park beach and 1.5 miles from all that Sawyer Michigan area has to offer. Tiny is the second dwelling on this property and is technically a mobile tiny house. While we do have electricity and water, much like an RV the drains run to holding tanks. This means VERY LIMITED WATER USE for showers and toilet flushing. It features a fully stocked kitchen, bathroom, and a queen bed in the small loft.
