This was a wonderful place in which to spend several days exploring beautiful Reggio Calabria and Sicily. Our hostess and host were exceptional - extraordinarily generous and kind. We were showered with thoughtful gifts of eggs, fruit, fresh picked vegetables from their garden and a bottle of their home-made wine (which was excellent). They were patient with our questions and were a fount of local insights and knowledge. Over decades of travel, they rank at the very top of the hosts that we have met. The house was immaculate, modern and very well appointed and lived up to every one of our expectations. It is on the edge of a small village and was serene and peaceful. The house is located outside of Reggio Calabria and close to the ferries to Sicily in Villa San Giovanni. A car is strongly recommended to enable local travel and trips to Sicily (which are very easy to arrange). All in all, an exceptional stay. Thank you!!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this place! The location is just perfect – everything is within walking distance, be it the train station, the beach or the shopping. This makes the arrival and exploration of the area super convenient. Communication with Diego was straightforward and fast. He was always available and kindly answered all our questions. His helpfulness and excursion tips made our stay even more enjoyable. The apartment itself was very clean and offered extensive amenities that left nothing to be desired. We immediately felt comfortable and can only recommend this place👍🏼☀️!

Spacious apartment, corresponding to the photos. Easy to reach the nearest beach on foot. Very convenient parking. Despite the hot heat, keeping the blinds closed and the fans turned on (one in each room), you don't suffer from the heat and sleep cool. The only downside, if you can say so, is the lack of being able to check yourself in: for those arriving from afar, being bound to a check-in time is always uncomfortable (although we personally had no problems arriving at 10:00 pm due to a delay of three hours of the train! Carolina's mom had to come in person at thattime there and it can clearly be a little annoying for the host - even though it's not up to us).

If you are looking for a spectacular view in Taormina this is the place to stay! It a short walk from the historic city center, but it is uphill so make sure to pack light or take a taxi for check in and check out (taxi was very quick). The house is in a quiet location and just a few minutes to a grocery for amenities. Would highly recommend staying for the view and historic character of the villa! Host was very helpful and responsive.
