Karen’s place is a beautiful location right on the lake! The space was pristine and Karen was so kind and accommodating!

Karen communicated well and was extremely accommodating. She had great suggestions for our stay. I’d likely stay here again.

Your home was beautiful. From the moment we walked in we could smell how clean it was. Everything was spotless and it was very warm and cozy. The backyard is adorable! They have done a great job with this place. We really enjoyed our stay and had no issues. Walkable to restaurants and coffee shops. Great location! Highly recommend.

This place rocks! Karen and her husband did a phenomenal job of reimagining this space and turning into a destination. All the units are well thought out and furnished with everything you might need. The pool and hot tubs were huge hit with my boys, along with the generous amounts of pool floats available to use. The location is perfect, with one of the best views in all of Catawba. Sipping coffee on the porch swing every morning, as you look out at the lake was bliss. You can sit in the hot tub or on one of the many deck chairs and have a perfect location for the sunset every night. As someone who comes to Catawba frequently -- there is no competition for this place. I wish I could keep it all to my self -- and not tell everyone how good it is, as I fear soon this place will be sold out for the foreseeable future.

We had a wonderful stay at the Love Shack. Great amenities, place was as described and more. Everything was set up for us when we got there and was a great location for a wonderful little place just outside of downtown Port Clinton but close enough to walk to anywhere downtown. 10/10 would stay again!

We arrived late and left early on our trip cross country, so didn't get to enjoy to beauty of being on this lake, but appreciated the location and the comfortable accomodations.

Cottage in sandusky is a great place to stay and within walking distance of 2 restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. Open lot next to house is great for parking a boat or extra vehicles. House was clean and had plenty of amenities.

We enjoyed our stay, and despite the chilly weather, the kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub! Karen was an absolute pleasure to work with. Our cottage was newly renovated and just like the description. We look forward to coming back soon!

The house was a wonderful place for some precious time with my adult children! We loved the porch with a view and played a lot of games sitting out there laughing more than we ever have! Thank you so much Katie and family!!

We just got home from a lovely Thanksgiving mini getaway at Joshua’s place. He made extra effort to get us a fire pit and even fire wood since I inquired if one was available and also helped us out when we were short a set of sheets. The kitchen had everything we needed to serve Thanksgiving dinner for 11 and other meals, too. The stove and oven worked great - lots of pots available. Large refrigerator. Easy to work in space. The table accommodated all of us. Loved the tile counters. Updated bathrooms were appreciated. Appreciated the coloring books provided for the littles. Nice encouraging decor. Lakeside is such a charming little resort area - we love it there. A maybe 2 block walk gets us down to Lake Erie with the beauty of the rocks, sky, water. Several parks in walking distance—just great. Thank you for everything.

Terry's home was perfect for our family and pets. Comfortable, clean, and stocked with all of the amenities we needed. Terry was super helpful and even sent some helpful info a few days prior to our arrival. He lives close by, and is readily available for any issues (we had none). We look forward to our stay next summer!

We had a great time stay. The location is great - away from the downtown area but close enough to get there quickly. The place was very clean and well stocked. The pool was also nice. We plan on returning.

This little cottage exceeded our expectations. We immediately felt right at home and the neighborhood is so charming. We walked to the gazebo every night at sunset, definitely a must do if you stay here! Only about a 10 minute drive to cedar point which was the main reason for our stay. We would absolutely stay here again!

We had a great stay and hope to return. We've stayed at a couple other nice houses on the island and this is our new favorite. Everything was perfect — from the tranquil location, comfy beds and furniture, great porch and pellet grill, relaxing backyard fire pit (and plenty of wood), plenty of outdoor seating, great coffee station, awesome electric golf cart, private hot tub, and more. We zoomed around the island and also spent more time at the house than planned because it was so nice. Great communication from David as well. Definitely plan to return.

Peaceful cottage right on the beach with the sunrise to welcome your morning. Friendly people in the neighborhood. Great value, especially if you occupy all three rooms. I appreciated that the host met me on the premises to give a brief overview and thanked me for my business. Guidebook was very helpful. Lot of amenities provided. Unfortunately, I did not read the part about the garbage removal in a timely fashion, and the waste transfer station was closed when I left, so I took the garbage with me. Thankfully it was not much and I had my car.

"This Old Lake House" was just what we needed for our R&R and visit to the area. Perfectly located as our base of operations during our visit. The house was clean and the charm that made our stay so enjoyable. Linda the host was always responsive to our messages. Thank you!

Keith made check in easy and straightforward. His cottage is clean, with an open layout. The sun porch is large and gorgeous, facing a nice sandy beach and spectacular views of the lake (there is even a tv and swing on the porch!). The living room is very open, with huge windows facing the lake and beautiful sunlights. It was a very comfortable stay. The set up really makes you feel at home. Even though the cottage is pet-friendly, it is very clean and there is no pet odour! He includes helpful information when you arrive, including a helpful map of the island, marked with the locations of important and recommended places on Pelee. He even has a fun scavenger hunt to help you get to know the cottage and the island! The cottage is in a nice part of the island, near the lighthouse and not far from the snack bars in Scutter. Keith quickly responded to our questions and was available if we had anything to ask. It was an all-around great experience with an excellent host. Thanks Keith!

I stayed here for a week to attend the Biggest Week in American Birding Festival. I found the space comfortable and it suited my needs well. Elliott was responsive and kind. We did not meet, but he responded promptly when I notified him about an issue with the water heater and fixed it as soon as he was able. I was particularly impressed with his respect for my privacy since he needed to enter the house during my stay. Thanks, Elliott!
