Cottage vacation rentals in Ottawa County

We stayed for two nights with our daughter and her fiancé. The hot tub was amazing, and towels for same were waiting. Having a dryer to dry suits and towels was a major plus. Beds were very comfy and lots of seating in living space. Would stay here time and time again!!

We absolutely loved our stay even tho the weather didn’t cooperate. Karen was very friendly and gave good recommendations. The cottage is stunning

This place rocks! Karen and her husband did a phenomenal job of reimagining this space and turning into a destination. All the units are well thought out and furnished with everything you might need. The pool and hot tubs were huge hit with my boys, along with the generous amounts of pool floats available to use. The location is perfect, with one of the best views in all of Catawba. Sipping coffee on the porch swing every morning, as you look out at the lake was bliss. You can sit in the hot tub or on one of the many deck chairs and have a perfect location for the sunset every night. As someone who comes to Catawba frequently -- there is no competition for this place. I wish I could keep it all to my self -- and not tell everyone how good it is, as I fear soon this place will be sold out for the foreseeable future.

We celebrated our 2 year anniversary at Karen's Eagles Nest & I'm so glad that we did! Karen was so helpful with local recommendations for both food and entertainment. Karen's place matched the description but the pictures doesn't give the view justice, it's absolutely beautiful! Karen recommended we come back with our young children and we will be doing just that!

It was an overall great stay. For us it was better to use the link for the address instead of typing in the address because it does not take you to the right house, but the link they have attached in the listing works.

We had a great time at Lakeside and this was a wonderful home to stay in. Spacious and clean. We enjoyed the back patio and the location is perfect in between the pool and lake. Will definitely stay again!

Great location. Close to Toledo, Sandusky area and Lake Erie. The property adequately fit our needs. They were pet friendly and made sure we were able to keep our pet safe. Great host! Margaret was very attentive, made sure we had all that we needed and was there if we needed anything else. This was our first stay with Air BRB and it couldn't have gone better.

The house was perfect for our 2 night stay. We were there for a birding trip and saw so much just from the porch! The house was clean and comfortable. It has a nice private feeling to it but is only a few minutes drive from whatever you may need. Elise and Seth are very responsive and did everything they could to make sure we had a great stay. We will definitely be back!

I booked for a last minute birthday trip to see the lake and was not disappointed by the view or the home! I can’t wait to come back in the fall for duck migration

A few of us stayed here for a bachelorette weekend & we had the best time. The house was the perfect size for all of us & there was plenty of room. Everything was clean & we loved how close it was to everything. We easily walked to & from the house & Jet Express which was really nice. Overall our stay was great, Kelsey & Austin made sure to always respond quickly & answer any questions we had.

We just got home from a lovely Thanksgiving mini getaway at Joshua’s place. He made extra effort to get us a fire pit and even fire wood since I inquired if one was available and also helped us out when we were short a set of sheets. The kitchen had everything we needed to serve Thanksgiving dinner for 11 and other meals, too. The stove and oven worked great - lots of pots available. Large refrigerator. Easy to work in space. The table accommodated all of us. Loved the tile counters. Updated bathrooms were appreciated. Appreciated the coloring books provided for the littles. Nice encouraging decor. Lakeside is such a charming little resort area - we love it there. A maybe 2 block walk gets us down to Lake Erie with the beauty of the rocks, sky, water. Several parks in walking distance—just great. Thank you for everything.

The house was exactly as stated the area where the home is located is pretty peaceful but if you want things to do there is a lot near by

Very well kept and cozy. Excellent condition for the age of the home, instructions for check in/out were clear and concise. There’s a train that passes through directly behind the house frequently but wasn’t a deal breaker for us and they included white noise machines in every room which was a nice touch. Overall very pleased with our stay.

Honestly this was one of the best locations I have ever stayed at in port clinton/put n bay! The place was better than the pictures and the check-in was seamless! The amenities provided gave us so much more fun and the surroundings were beautiful! We would give this place 6 stars if we could! Great Airbnb!
