The apartment is located next to our 30s home on the 1st floor, in the village center of Castricum. Within 5 minutes' walking distance, the dunes start and with fifteen minutes cycling you are on the beach and by the sea. The cities of Alkmaar, Haarlem and Amsterdam can be reached quickly by train or car. The train station of Castricum is within walking distance of our house. The apartment is on the second floor. Next to the entrance is a seat where you can sit in the sun in the morning.

Our stay at this house was wonderful. Everything was spotless, comfortable and well decorated. We especially enjoyed the tranquility of the surroundings and its excellent location for visiting Amsterdam and the beautiful surrounding villages. The host was very kind and attentive, with immediate response and giving us many recommendations of what to see and how to get around the area. Without a doubt, an experience we would repeat. We definitely recommend this house.

We had an extended weekend at Lotte's place. This lovingly furnished apartment has everything you need. We got great tips from the hostess on what to do in Castricum. Lotte was always available. The free bikes served us well, they were perfect for going to the beach or the train station. The location is very quiet and yet you can quickly reach the beach or larger cities by train. Overall, we were very satisfied and felt comfortable, we can highly recommend the accommodation 😊

We enjoyed staying with Martine very much! The entire property and especially the garden are super well maintained. A place to switch off and enjoy your vacation. The free-range chickens and the cat were our highlight.

We had a great Easter weekend at Jan's place. Very good location, for example to get to Amsterdam by train. There are plenty of parking spaces (side street). Small but nice. Completely sufficient for a great time in Holland. Thank you for this.

Pieter and his wife were very welcoming. For two people, the space is great, good bed and everything is present. It was nice that the garden was completely fenced so the dog could walk around freely. We'll definitely be back.

This cottage was perfect for my family of 5. It's very private and spacious. Paulus is right next door and so kind and helpful. Our stay could not have been more perfect. I hope we may return one day.
