Beautiful Restored Barn -The Old Stables

The Old stables is part of the original estate of Cary Fitzpaine. Although the setting is rural, we are a short way from A37 (.5 mile) and A303 (1.5 miles) which makes us very accessible to other amenities/attractions. The property is self contained and private, with a contained garden. The owners live nearby and are happy for guests to walk around the farm, and are also on hand if required. We are in easy reach of many National Trust properties, Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm & Haynes Car Museums.

Home Farm Barn is part of our home, a beautifully converted barn opening on to the courtyard garden. We are down a no through road, surrounded by fields and orchards. It is an ideal place to visit for peace and quiet or perfect time to get together with friends or family for a country stay. The house is spacious, comfortable, kitchen/dining area and sitting room with open fire . With 4 double bedrooms, One bath, two showers and separate downstairs cloakroom - there is plenty of space for all.

The Seed House, Shepton Montague

Situated in a delightfully rural village on a working farm, the Seed House has been tastefully converted with oak beams and stone features. Easy access to many famous attractions, such as Stourhead (NT) and The Newt in Somerset. Excellent pub in village. On site there are 3 well stocked coarse fishing lakes (Higher Farm Fishery) available - free fishing for one guest during their stay. Well behaved dogs welcome. Unfortunately, cats aren’t allowed due to allergies. Off road parking.

Orchard Cottage

A beautifully converted barn with a contemporary feel next to a 17th century cider house set in the middle of 12 acres of gardens and ancient orchards. A small room with a big heart! You'll have a spacious comfy double (or twin) bed , hot shower with good pressure and loo ensuite. The annexe is situated in a wonderfully kept English garden you are welcome to wander and recline in. A breakfast hamper of muesli, milk, yoghurt and fresh fruit awaits you in the morning. Embedded in beautiful Somerset, this cosy annexe is a short walk into the medieval market town of Castle Cary. Hilly farmland and orchards mean lots of walking nearby.

Relax and make some memories at this unique light and airy property with plenty of space for the whole family to enjoy. Set in one acre of grounds overlooking the Cale valley. Near town with 5 pubs , 3 coffee shops but still in the countryside. Nestled at the foot of historic Cadbury Castle in beautiful South Cadbury, our home is perfectly situated for anyone looking to escape the rat-race and recharge their batteries. Great local walks and fabulous local pubs within walking distance. A fabulous place to break a journey if you're travelling from London to Cornwall as we are pretty much half way. However, be warned, those that have done this so far, always wish they were staying for longer, and sometimes they do!
