Villa Gorna is an amazing location with fantastic hosts. The property is as described and photos are accurate. A lot of care was taken to put nice extra features. Orazio was very responsive and helpful, with offers available for tours etc. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend.

This place has been a highlight of our trip. It is peaceful, comfortable, very spacious and full of character. Our hosts were amazing, friendly, full of local knowledge and very prompt answering any questions we had. Our arrival was welcoming with delicious snacks provided and a free guided tour of how to get to the best local shops. It is close to everything that you would want to see and there is a restaurant within walking distance. The outside shower is amazing, but there are also 2 indoor alternatives. Jane and Bill

The property is off the beaten path and full of character. It’s got a wonderful garden and terrace area with amazing views of the surrounding mountains - the highlight of the place. The host was responsive. The only negative is the flushing of the toilet in the main apartment which doesn’t quite work right. However, the views and the fact there is a BBQ was provided more than made up for this minor inconvenience

The villa was above and beyond what we imagined! The pictures do not do it justice! The hosts went above and beyond to welcome us into their own, helping us with every need and question. The included breakfasts were fantastic and we had the villa owner cook for us one night served by the pool and it was by far one of the best meals we had in all of Italy. The pool was such a special treat each evening after our day visiting Mt Etna (super close to access) or around town. We would highly recommend this place as it’s spacious (we had 8 and there was extra room) and the hosts really went above and beyond to help us with every need! The only downside we had was that we only stayed for 2 nights! We will return to Sicily just to stay at this villa again! Va bene! Grazie mille!

We had a wonderful week's vacation in Riposto. Food, drinks and the sea are simply fantastic. Numerous restaurants, cafes and fish and vegetable markets. The villa we lived in was a small, royal apartment. Everything is decorated in the beautiful Italian-Sicilian style. Everything is very discreet and cool. Thank you, Rosaria.

Amazing house and super kind owner! You can feel it’s very relaxing, clean and great place to rest. Indeed, you probably cannot get here without a car, and the road is quite challenging. But the house is rewarding you as soon as you open the gate :) I recommend 100%

Fantastic sea view! Relax with friends in the garden area was a wonderful experience - sailing boats sailed through the calm sea was just so picturesque, watching steam coming out from the volcano of Mount Etna, hearing birds sing in the morning and butterflies flying in between flowers. Sitting there leaving all your worries and troubles behind was just beyond words. Caterina is a great host. Caterina and her husband met us at the busy traffic junction and led us down the narrow cul-de-sac to their house, helped us with carrying our heavy luggage to their house, they made us just felt at home. We had a wonderful stay.

This was our first visit to Sicily. We were a group of 8 with 3 families. We had plenty of space & privacy. The home is truly as beautiful as the photos & is like a step back in time. Maria is an amazing artist who added her special touches all over the home This was Francesco’s grandfathers home built in the late 1800’s. The backyard overlooks the town below & the ocean w Mt Etna on the other side. Magnificent! The added bonus of Rosaria’s services made us feel incredibly pampered. Her services are an additional fee but are very well worth it. She cooked 2 amazing meals for us (her chicken cacciatore is the absolute best!). She also helped secure a restaurant reservation & transportation. Note that a driver or rental car is a must. Unless you are fluent in Italian you will need translation apps. Truly a lifesaver as Sicilians often do not speak English. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever fortunate enough to visit the beautiful island of Sicily.

This was the most magical Airbnb experience ever. Guiseppe and Giulia are the most hospitable Hosts I have ever come into contact with. They went above and beyond to make our stay the best. The villa is incredible with massive outdoor grounds to enjoy and a very beautiful large deep clean pool. Inside the villa is exactly as described but better! They were gracious and filled the fridges with many drinks to enjoy. They met us at the toll booth and escorted us to the villa and then drove us around town later to familiarize ourselves to the area and provided many dining recommendations. They were even so kind as to make reservations under their family name and deliver the most amazing desserts I have ever had! The location of the villa is perfect for day trips to Savoca and Taormina and surrounding areas. To have such a beautiful peaceful villa to return to made this our own slice of heaven! I would return in a heart beat. Thank you Giuseppe and Giulia for the most amazing stay.

It was a very pleasant stay. The house is well-equipped and private. The road is a little noisy, but nothing bad. Convenient supermarket nearby, and easy to get to Naxos, Toarmina, and other cities. Cooking was very pleasant. Small addition: Larger glasses would be great, as would an ice cube maker and a shampoo and shower gel holder in the bathrooms.

We had a fabulous stay at this lovely villa. Lella met us upon our arrival and had taken care to get the supplies we had requested. She sent us a short video on how to find the shortcut down the hill to town, which was easy to follow (be prepared for 130 steps), along with restaurant recommendations. The plunge pool was a godsend in the heat. We had a great time.

Beautiful villa, spacious outdoor area, saltwater pool was fantastic. Fully equipped kitchen and BBQ area. Very clean and well presented throughout. Communication with host was faultless, all questions and calls were answered promptly. Villa was very private, we hired a car but Uber was very reliable and good value. Local restaurant Blue Ice was very good. Highlight was visiting nearby Taormina both on an evening and during the day. I would most certainly recommend Villa Flara and the beautiful island of Sicily. 🍋💕

A great home away from home for the Christmas Holiday. The kitchen was amazing and allowed for us to make all our traditional Christmas dishes. Furthermore, the living room was cozy. The couch was perfect and allowed multiple people to curl up and watch Christmas movies. Additionally, the gaming room provided much needed space for board games, karaoke, puzzles, and reading. The house was immaculate, and our host was absolutely wonderful. We showed up late the first evening and our host made traditional Sicilian delicacies for us to eat. The arancini were delicious. I would 100% come back, especially in the summer so I can enjoy their beautiful pool. 100% recommend.

We had a beautiful stay at the villa, Casa Grande. It was perfectly appointed for all of our needs, and the property was a magical place to enjoy a peaceful getaway. We soaked in the views, splashed in the pool, and explored some of the neighboring towns. Adriana, Antonio, and all of the wonderful staff made our stay extra special, offering hospitality and kindness at every opportunity. We loved our visit!

We loved our time in this beautifully maintained piece of history. Everything is preserved with a lot care & love. Our kids spent most of their time in the expansive courtyard. This property is located in a small charming but a self-selfsufficient village, there are a few shops, a bakery & a good supermarket 2 mins walk from the Villa. I would like thank Francesca the was of our stay. Daniella was also amazing. we would love to come back again.

Lovely house tucked away behind the bustling main street in beautiful Taormina. It is very close to a number of restaurants and eateries, yet is private and peaceful. Livio was a very attentive host, giving us many excellent recommendations and offering us the opportunity to leave our bags at the house to fit in with our arrival and departure. Highly recommend!

Beautiful stay in Aci Catena. The space comfortably accommodated all four of us and the beds were one of the most comfortable of our whole trip. The outdoor area was amazing with the pool surrounded by many olive, lemon and peach trees. Daria was very willing to help with every question we had and made many recommendations throughout our stay. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quaint stay, yet so close to everything.

Beautiful home! If you are staying in Catania and visiting surrounding areas, Isabella’s home is perfect. This was a quiet, private, spacious oasis of a property in the middle of the busy city life. Centrally located to visit the key attractions. Isabella was the perfect hostess! She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed in their family home that has been in their family for generations. This home was great for our family of 6 and had enough space for everyone to spread out. The grounds and pool are beautiful. Isabella organized a traditional Sicilian meal to be cooked as well as a fun pizza night utilizing the authentic pizza oven. Isabella is a perfect hostess and provided us great information including a boat tour which was the best. What a lovely, and welcoming property!

Alessandra’s property just north of Viagrande was an excellent location for us to explore Mt Etna and surrounding towns. Alessandra was a great communicator and accommodated our late check in after an evening flight into Catania. Our children enjoyed exploring the grounds of the property but the guest house itself is quite rustic (which was fine for us).

The house is at the foot of Mount Etna overlooking the volcano and the sea. The large garden with lemon and orange trees has a beautiful pool, which, however, should be renovated, as the mosaic tiles are quite broken. The house is ideal for a large family with 3 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms plus 1 single room and a children's room. There were plenty of fresh towels and extra pool towels, clean linens, plenty of glasses and dishes. The kitchen was well stocked, some parts not up to date. The furnishings consist of old Italian furniture, plus small Ikea items. The historic house is quite typical of the region, the structural condition is borderline for Central Europeans. The dining area in the garden under the large umbrella is beautiful. A chef can be booked, that was great! Unfortunately, there is an event location in the immediate vicinity, which has very loud music until 2 am and disturbed us a lot. Nevertheless we had a lovely time!

A corner of magic in the Sicilian hills We stayed at this enchanted AirBnb and were deeply fascinated by it. The advice is to arrive before nightfall: the GPS suggests very narrow roads, which can put you a little apprehensive, but following the directions of Cinzia you reach the place in complete serenity. It's really worth the trip! The place is simply magical, with attention to detail, immersed in the wild and authentic beauty of nature. Every corner tells a story, every detail conveys love and attention. During the night, we witnessed the evocative spectacle of the Etna lights that shone behind the hill - an experience that left us speechless. As a yoga teacher, I can say that it is also a perfect place to organize retreats: silence, beauty, and inspiration blend into a harmony that nourishes the soul. Thank you so much for this special experience.

We had a wonderful week in Patti - Lara’s home was the perfect base to explore the island from. Lara and Martina were extremely helpful, providing lots of recommendations for places to eat and visit. The pool is gorgeous, and there are balconies all around the house so you can chase the sun (or shade) throughout the day. We really can’t recommend this place enough.

Our hosts were fabulous and friendly. There were fresh meats, cheese and a bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival. We were given local recommendations and the host was prompt with any queries. We would highly recommend this host. Thanks for everything 😊
