House vacation rentals in Castenaso

From a long retired couple... Very enjoyable week's stay during September in Ruth's spacious, clean, comfortable and comprehensively equipped, family oriented villa. Ideal base for local hiking (which we didn't) and surprisingly well located, given its fairly remote position, for sampling good quality nearby restaurants (which we did). Good scope for cultural and shopping trips: eg. Bologna, Faenza, Dozza (delightful) and outlet centres incl. Barberino (convenient and extensive). We found Ruth to be a very welcoming, helpful and accessible host with a ready wealth of local knowledge - a much underrated asset that certainly enhanced our visit. 6Stanco - go for it!

We had an amazing time at Miriam’s house. She and her husband are lovely people who put a lot of thought into their interior. There was nothing else we could have wished for, nice pool/ garden area, very well equipped kitchen and cozy bedrooms.

Lovely very large secure garden which was ideal for our dogs. The pool was lovely and the eating area outside the kitchen was ideal. The house was comfortable and spacious and air con in 2 of the bedrooms was lovely as kept the whole house at a lovely temperature. Local bakery ideal for breakfast. 2 of our party went to the aqua park and loved it. We also visited Ferrera and Bologna.

Silvana and her Husband were GREAT Hosts!! The place was immaculate and Super Peaceful!!! Best arrangements and accommodations Close to Bologna!! We spent 5 days, Played Tennis and had a Mega BBQ!! Enjoyed the place immensely, Silvana was a SUPER Host!!! Will surely comeback!!!!

The property is breathtaking, with stunning views that make it a perfect retreat. A car is essential for getting around. Our host, Lara, embodied the warmth and generosity of Italian hospitality. Despite pouring rain on our arrival, she greeted us warmly and explained everything thoroughly. She texted us recommendations for the best local restaurants and checked in regularly—not intrusively, but with genuine care and passion for her guests’ comfort. Lara went above and beyond, preparing the BBQ for us, offering fresh fruit as a thoughtful treat, and providing delicious pastries for breakfast on our departure day. I would absolutely stay here again!

Visiting Lisbeth & Lars is more than just an accommodation. We stayed at the couple’s unit which was perfect – very clean and well maintained with all our necessities. This place is perfect to have you slipping into Italian style living. We had our morning coffee at the porch with the birds singing for us😃 But the most important thing about this place is the hospitality. Lisbeth & Lars are the perfect hostesses and helped us reserve the best restaurants in the area plus tours with local balsamic and parmesan producers. We will certainly come again, next time at the summer to check out the pool.

We stayed at the property for a bachelor party with seven people for two nights and had an all-round successful time. The house is very spacious, clean and offers perfect conditions for relaxing with the large garden and the great pool. It was particularly nice to sit outside together in the evening. The mosquitoes mentioned in the other comments did not bother us so much and Francesco helped us with special scented candles that drove the mosquitoes away. Francesco is an excellent host: He was always available and responded very quickly to all our concerns. We felt completely comfortable – a clear recommendation!

A cozy location just outside the city center

Pictures reflect the cottage. Clean, great A/C, great location, quiet, perfect for 4 people. Garden was nice and peaceful. All was as described...even better! Would return!

We had a great time in the center of a nice and quiet village with everything you need and where we ate a great pizza and excellent ice cream. If I pass by here again, I will definitely stop. I thank Diana for her hospitality.

We had a lovely stay at Casa Luisa. It is ideally located between Modena and Bologna, and the village is within walking distance for dinner in the evening and strolls. The house is big and very clean! Gianluca is super available and very welcoming. Great value.

Lidia and her husband were perfect hosts! It felt right at home, we were warmly welcomed and they even gave us several rides, since we didn't have a car. Really kind and caring!

Aneta was a great host, very proactive, helpful and friendly. Apartment was very clean and well designed. Beautiful green surroundings and the natural linden tree smell all around the streets and the apartment was just so amazing. It was only a 20 min train ride to Bologna center and the apartment was right around the corner from train station which was very convenient. All in all it was a great stay. Thank you again Anita! We’ll be back for sure.

Going there is already a party. Always going up, following the directions, you will eventually arrive at your destination. Then first enjoy the spectacular views. And then to be very impressed by the cottage. Super big, and very authentic. We felt like prince and princess!

We felt right at home in Marco’s home! The house itself was so inviting and homey—and it was very well-equipped! The gardens were stunning! We spent every evening in the backyard smelling roses and racing my toddler’s play cars— it was heavenly! The scenery is breathtaking and the weather was gorgeous! Marco was so kind and a plethora of knowledge and suggestions for things to do in the area and beyond! Plenty of linens, dishes, cookware, seating, etc. We wanted for nothing!! The local grocery stores had plenty of options and every Coop had a playground— a major perk to my toddler! ;) We cooked many meals in the kitchen with ease and my husband worked from home there without any issues with technology or connectivity. Marco was even so kind as to leave a monitor, keyboard, and printer! We only wish we could have stayed longer but we will definitely be back! I cannot say enough about this wonderful home! My toddler keeps requesting to go back and we feel the same! Grazie mille, Marco!

Cozy, well-furnished house with spa and gym, equipped with every comfort, everything manages to make even bad weather days spectacular! Andrea is always ready and available for any need, he made us spend a memorable weekend. Highly recommended!!

Cutigliano was a quiet and beautiful location. While we often drove 2 hours to go to major destinations, there was so much to do nearby as well. I found one of my favourite things to do was to explore the village and trials nearby. The people were wonderfully kind and the local food was amazing. Highly reccomend this location for a longer stay in italy. We live in an apartment at home, so the house felt spacious and luxurious, but at the same time, with authenticity. We got used to living with the gorgeous chruch bells across the street... everything was a joy! We stayed with a 6 month old baby which was great. If our small child was walking or crawling by themselves there are lots of stairs, some without rails which should be considered. Solange was exceptional. She was waiting outside when we arrived to help us understand how to bring in our luggage and park our car. She was quick to respond and had lots of suggestions for things nearby. Overall one of my fave trips!

Due to a very complicated move, I stayed alone at the property, unfortunately going back and forth to and from Bologna Working with animals and the garden, beautiful and completely fenced, really made a difference The house is charming as well as the view that frames it, priceless waking up to the view of our Apennines. So much silence that I feel - especially at night - almost intimidated :-) Beautiful break during which, at times, I was even able to regenerate myself I had some minor difficulties with the TV in the living room regarding channel synchronization, while everything was fine with the one in the bedroom Cleanliness and services offered completely in line with expectations Overall, I would absolutely recommend a stay at this charming property if you really want to unplug and carve out a space and a moment of relaxation and rest! I had a lovely stay in Imola and enjoyed being at Alex's place for a week. Extremely easy communication and very quick response. The place is cleaned spotless and what you see is what you get. I loved the recommendations of the neighbourhood and can definitely recommend having your vacation here 😊

"a heavenly place" is located in a very quiet village, surrounded by greenery. The location allows you to reach Rovigo, Ferrara and surroundings in twenty minutes. The apartment is nice, well maintained and very clean. The plus is that animals are welcome, which for us is a discriminating factor in the choice of houses. We also had a great time with Franca and her furry friends EsperyTop

Carla was great. Carla and Stefano met us in person and walked us through the house. This worked much better than our other Airbnbs which we stayed at. Casa Vittoria was very clean and had plenty of cutlery, glasses and dishes. Overall it was a great stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this B&B surrounded by greenery and absolute tranquility. Since our arrival, we have been greeted with great warmth and helpfulness: the hospitality has been truly impeccable. The property is well-kept, clean, and perfectly integrated into the surrounding nature, ideal for those looking for relaxation away from the chaos.
