Villa Franca is located about 850 meters above sea level and overlooks a balcony on the Mercure Valley surrounded from east to south by the Pollino chain. Very quiet area inhabited mostly by families, the house is located 1 minute from the University of Calabria and 5 minutes from the central areas of Rende. Area also accessible by public transport.

A haven of peace and quiet

It is a wooden and stone chalet, the upper part is my accommodation, while the lower part (recently renovated) is all for guests: two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large and bright living room and a small but very functional kitchen. The outdoor space is shared, but very large, you can safely park the car in total safety. There is also a veranda where you can eat or simply relax. A few minutes' drive away there are tourist centers, lakes and trails.

The mini house is located on “Largo Rupe” one of the most beautiful terraces overlooking the sea in Fiumefreddo Bruzio. Here is "The Medallion of Fortune" by the great master Salvatore Fiume, which depicts the blindfolded goddess. That's why I decided to name the house “Il Nido della Fortuna” (The Nest of Fortune).
