Stunning cottage, very clean and tidy with a bonus of the hot tub which was easy enough to set up . Located in such a peaceful area with an easy and quick to drive into town.

Grace's house was a real treat! Nestled away in the trees overlooking the river made it feel so private and peaceful. The house itself was so cosy, clean and inviting but had plenty of space and different areas to relax. The grounds were amazing and the kids had a ball discovering the swings, hottub and reading shed. The whole place was magical and we were sad to leave. Grace was very responsive to any communication and made us feel so welcome. The house location was a great base for some of the stunning sights Donegal has to offer and we were very close to many beautiful sandy beaches. This house was the best airbnb we have ever stayed in! Absolutely stunning location, beautiful scenery and so private and peaceful. Excellent location for visiting the cliffs and beaches. The local pub offers great food and wonderful atmosphere. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly. Patrick was a very responsive host and easy to deal with.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb. The space was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The wood-burning hot tub was a highlight—though it took about 2–3 hours of tending the fire to heat up, it was incredibly relaxing once ready. The surrounding ponds added a peaceful, scenic touch, and we really enjoyed walking around the area. Peter was a responsive and helpful host, especially when I accidentally left something behind—he kindly let me return to pick it up. Overall, a lovely and memorable stay.

The house is gorgeous and so cosy. Mairead was so friendly and helpful and we had a brilliant time. pics don't do it justice was a fab little retreat. absolutely recommend. Glenties is a lovely wee town too and locals were so friendly. had an amazing trip

We had a fantastic stay over the bank holidayweekend. Laura was a great host—friendly, helpful, and full of brilliant recommendations for places to eat and things to do in the area. The cottage itself is cosy, comfortable, and really well equipped, with everything we needed. The views from the cottage are absolutely stunning, and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax in the evenings after a day of exploring. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay! Moya & Gavin were lovely hosts—warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout. The house is absolutely stunning with an incredible view. Inside, it’s cozy and beautifully done, with everything you need. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it feel just like home. We’re definitely planning to come back soon!

We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely cottage and it was truly the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. The setting was beautiful—peaceful and picturesque, just perfect for a relaxing getaway. The cottage itself was charming, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. What really made our stay special was the excellent service and the warmth of the hosts. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Beautiful little cottage! Exceeded expectations of how beautiful and cute it was. The cottage itself is stunning, we felt so cosy and really enjoyed our time together as a family, plenty of board games supplied too, which was great to get the kids away from their devices and some family time! The wood burning stove was beautiful and made us feel even more cosier! Wholesome night together and we already can’t wait to come back. Very warm welcome, and gifting us honey and eggs from the farm was so special. Beautiful place, home and surroundings.

Michael and Joan were fabulous hosts. They were very hospitable and friendly. They went above and beyond to welcome us. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Amazing views of neighboring farms and the ocean. The surroundings were so picturesque beautiful. It was an unforgettable stay and we hope to come back and stay longer next time!

Just lovely wee place.. the fully fenced garden was brilliant for my dog, the garden is huge, the cottage was very cosy, very warm, bed comfortable, shower great. Noreen was a great communicative host and even supplied a ball for my dog!! Would not hesitate to recommend area, property and host... we had bad weather one day, a perfect excuse to just curl up and and indulge In the fabulous home, heat and a book!! Everything was as described, perfectly clean and everything you could want for a short or long stay!!

A lovely secluded house surrounded with beautiful views and wildlife. A few local shops and take aways in Trillick a 5 minute drive away. We spent a lot of time in Omagh for a family wedding, about 20 minute drive with all the shops you need. You can park your car round by the back door so taking any shopping into the kitchen takes about three steps which felt great 😆 Lots of space, we were a couple but definitely fit for a family with the three bedrooms and 4 bathrooms / toilets throughout. Only thing I’d give a heads up about is there wasn’t a freezer if you plan on buying anything frozen Highly recommend, would definitely stay again! Thank you

This was a beautiful home. everything you needed was there. House was spotless and clean. The views were beautiful from the house. Shop was just down the road so easy for getting the things we needed for staying at the house. We went to a pub which was a bit of a distance for walking but local taxi services were always on hand and local taxi numbers were available at the house on who to contact as well. All in all a beautiful place to stay and I would highly recommend this house and would go back to stay here if visiting Donegal again.

Our stay at the Caraig Cottage was everything we’d hoped for. It was cozy, warm, and relaxing and Sinead was a stellar host that went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and thoroughly enjoyable. The cottage itself was a stunning space of rustic beauty and serenity, which we would’ve been content with on its own, but the surrounding landscape took our experience to another level. We were immersed in the wild beauty of the mountains, lake, and blooming gardens by day and engulfed in an expansive canopy of twinkling stars by night. The experience was a true delight that left us feeling fully restored just when we needed it most. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay there again.

It was an amazing place view was amazing Sarah is very responsible and available every time all over good just some toiletries were missing like body wash and toothpaste but I am sure if I would have asked she might provide but was not staying longer so I ddnt bother her …overall very nice thank you 😊

Had a fantastic stay with my wife and two kids. Beautiful views of the sea and the backside of Slieve League from the deck. Very clean and comfortable cottage. Hosts were very friendly and live right next door. Kilcar is down the street and has a gas station and convenience store. If you're looking to stay near Donegal with amazing views, this is the place!

We had an amazing time. We enjoyed the house so much that we ate dinner in a couple of nights. Mary was helpful, responsive and kind. The stone circle behind the house was magical. It was the perfect place for a get away with excellent day trips. Mary was a huge asset

We had a great stay in this unique place. It was warm, welcoming and it felt like staying in a place where the owners spend time themselves. The rooms were big, beds comfortable, bathrooms clean. The kitchen/sitting area was ideal for us having a few meals, sitting by the fire to chill. The area is unqiue and Donegal is beautiful! Hope to return!

If you're looking for a great base for south-western Donegal, look no further than Dan & Rosie's place. Ardara is brilliantly located to explore the Sliabh Liag cliffs, Glencolumbkille, Glengesh Pass and a whole host of beautiful beaches. (And any other tips Dan & Rosie will send your way.) The place itself is small but perfectly formed and it's got everything you need to cook meals at home (most probably you'll hit the town for food, though, as there's loads of nice places around). Thanks to a spell of beautiful weather, we particularly appreciated the lovely outdoor space and even had breakfast al fresco!

We stayed at Fionnuala’s Cottage for one week in June 2025; it’s a great base to tour Northwest Donegal. Such a comfortable home from home! Ideal! We had a great holiday👌🏻

Checking was super smooth; Donegal town is 10is minutes away; The views were amazing from the kitchen, master bedroom and living room, other rooms had really nice views as well but not the ocean. It was very clean and had a really nice vibe to it - I’d recommend this easily to anyone, the backyard is so serene - would 100% go there again

Michael is an excellent and warm host who took the time to welcome us personally (wasn’t just a key box entry), show us around the property and tell us which sights to visit and recommended restaurants. His home is very clean and comfortable. I would stay there again if I ever visited Donegal again!
