Family-friendly vacation rentals in Carp Lake

Ive rented alot of air bnbs over the years. So far? This has been the best experience ive had. The house was amazing. Super clean. Comfortable beds. Super well stocked with amenities that most places dont provide. Jennifer is super easy to communicate with and get ahold of. We will be back next year:)

We loved our stay in this beautiful house! It's even better in person than the photos - and the photos are pretty great! Perfect location - peaceful and secluded but not far from anything. Melissa was amazing and communicated quickly when any question arose - we were able to check in early and check out late which was an awesome benefit with wine in the car! The amenities are perfection: such a well-stocked kitchen and a pristinely clean bathroom. The bed was so comfortable and the character throughout this lovely old granary really made it a stand out. The location is central to many wineries, breweries and great restaurants - we never felt far from anything but it was so quiet and peaceful to be surrounded by fields and so much green! The hot tub was an amazing bonus and we used it on an unexpectedly cold May night. This place was so nice and relaxing! One thing that we were happy about is that they welcomed dogs! We have 2, 9 month old mini poodles and this was their first adventure so having a host that accepts pets was #1 on our list. This place is way better than the pictures! We felt right at home and we loved watching the boats go by on the river! The beds were so comfy and made for an even better relaxing time. I highly recommend this place. It is very private and quiet! We saw lots of different types of birds, including a couple eagles. We knew a beaver was close by but never got to see him, only his handy work. I wish we could have stayed longer and hope to be back in the future! Thank you Donald, we soooo enjoyed your place!

We stayed at Cathy's place while having plans at Nub's Nob. The location was absolutely perfect. Cathy was incredibly friendly and helpful. The house was beautiful and comfortable and it truly felt like a home away from home. We would, without a doubt, stay here again when in the area.

Wonderful host and fantastic condo. Comfortable, clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Very nice linens and towels. Location was perfect for us to access Nubs Nob and restaurants in Harbor Springs. Janine was exceptionally welcoming and responsive.

We loved our stay! The listing was exceptionally clean and amenities were as described. We enjoyed the location and having a coffee shop and (delicious) burger joint in walkable distance was a great bonus! The view of the beach and water right off the private balcony was wonderful and having a heated pool/hot tub combo right on property made this an ideal booking for our family. We’d come back and would recommend to others!

Stayed in Topinbee to attend Mackinac Island Lilac Festival. This was an amazing spot to relax from the busy festival activites! Having a quiet evening in the hot tub with the beautiful view of Lake Mullet was quickly a favorite activity! Cannot recommend this rental enough for an extremely relaxed and pleasant lakeside space. Hosts were very responsive, gave great recommendations, and were incredibly helpful when we worried we misplaced one of our personal items. Hopefully we'll be able to make the trip again next year for the next fest!

We loved our stay above the Boat House. Room was clean and uncluttered, but with a few books and games to make it cozy. Location was quiet and peaceful. Loved sitting on the deck with a book. I would definitely stay here again! Carol was a great host, even letting me keep the room an extra couple hours until the ferry came.

Very beautiful location and a very short drive from downtown Charlevoix. It took a few minutes of walking to get from Cabin 1 to the main cabin where we could charge our devices and use the bathroom, which we didn't mind too much since it was a short stay. If you'd enjoy a camping-like experience with a comfy bed and no bugs, this is a great place to stay! Carl was also super helpful and responsive :)

We appreciated the local chips and beer and special dog cookie. This is a great spot and we are thankful it is dog friendly.

This is our second time staying at Laurie’s Airbnb and we love it. It’s the perfect place to enjoy the winter wonderland up there. Laurie is very communicative and very helpful. The place is comfy and we love that we can bring our dogs!

The guest house is perfect for our family of 5 adults and our dog. We stayed 3 nights and spent 2 full days visiting the MacKinac Island. The house has everything we need for a comfortable vacation. We cooked 2 dinners, the night we arrived and the next evening. Thank you

This place is beautiful,we had a great time place was very peaceful!!! I highly recommend the pontoon rental, great fishing info on the lake, great variety of fish from the dock!!

We lo ved our stay at the cottage. Spider Lake is lovely and very relaxing. Nikki was very communicative leading up to and during our stay. We would absolutely want to book it again .

What a fabulous place! Tom's house was just as described, neat, well appointed, and with lots of outdoor toys. Rent the pontoon if you can--that was the biggest treat! Everything was there that we needed, including extra toiletries which turned out to be perfect given we forgot some! Easy to spend a week here, with quick access into TC, a big screen to watch tv at night, and the great outdoors to spend the days in hiking with the dogs. We highly recommend Tom's place. He was so easy to work with and we really enjoyed our stay :-)

We had a wonderful weekend and totally enjoyed the Condo. It was clean, organized and we felt right at home. We most definitely would stay there again. It was perfect!! Thank you so much for allowing us to rent from you. It was nice to have a home, instead of just hotel rooms. Excellent experience.

Absolutely loved the location of this rental! It was like a 3 minute walk over to the yellow chair. So, so easy! The condo is also fully stocked with anything you might need for cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is decorated super cute, was clean and very accommodating. We would stay here again for another ski trip.

Everything was great! We had an amazing time and this place met everyone’s needs!

We will definately be back again! This location was less than 10 minutes frim my hunting property and had plenty to do to keep us busy while we werent hunting. All the luxuries of home!

Bridget's place was spotless clean and the condo has a great view of Lake Huron. Check-in was easy and property manager Carol was very responsive to our questions. Bathrooms were thoughtfully stocked with toiletries that made our stay easy. Will definitely stay there again!

Sunset Glory has been our "go-to" ski weekend rental for years! We Love the apartment and being right in town and so close to the Highlands!

My 4 kids, husband and I have been coming to Shanty creek resorts for over 10 years. This is the first time we stayed somewhere other than the resort hotels. We enjoyed we were able to bring our dog on this trip, we had a kitchenette, and we did more in the area because we had to drive ourselves. This gave us a chance to explore and save more money. By staying in a place more reasonable than the hotel and we were able to cook ourselves and didn't have the added expense of a dog sitter. 4girls sharing one bathroom worked out better than I thought. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you The Ramsey family
