Ample parking Perfect for exploring the wildlife of the Solway Coast, Carlisle, Scotland, and the Lake District which is an easy 30min drive.

Stanwix Cottage dates back to the 1650s when it was part of the coaching Inn which is now the Crown and Thistle. It has been recently fully renovated and is an ideal comfortable base to tour the City of Carlisle, Cumbria, including the Lake District or Southern Scotland.
