A superb gem of a place. Cloistered in a small collection of beautiful farm buildings converted to accommodation. Easy parking, quiet, scenic, well equipped, comfortable, warm, and cosy. We stayed for a month and never had a moment’s trouble. Victoria and Simon were friendly, helpful, and responsive. There’s a village shop about a 10 minute walk away which stocks all the essentials, and supermarkets about a half hour or so away. An idyllic place.

This place is really cosy. A lovely log burner warm and tidy. Really nice fittings and fixtures clearly done with thought. Really decent hot water and heating. Beds were very comfy. Kitchen really well equipped. The local shop is basic but cheery and good opening hours. Used it for tea, coffee, milk, bread etc and they do cash back. The local chippy/Chinese take away was excellent. We couldn’t get into the pub to eat at late notice sadly so may need to hook well in advance if that’s your plan. We based ourselves here to do the costal rail route and it was super convenient for the railway. The parking was as advertised. The cottage itself is on the road through flookburgh, so there was a bit of traffic noise at the front bedroom, but really not that much as it’s not a big busy road by any means. There were bowls for the dog to make him feel welcome too.

Well presented house with all the expected amenities. Simple check in with detail instruction provided. Brittany was attentive but not intrusive and easy to get hold of with any queries

I found some things that I am not comfortable such as in the bathroom basin there is no mixer and the basin have no sign, it’s broken . Also, toilet flusher is not working sometimes. It looks like a very old type . Also, the double bed mattress is very soft. I didn’t feel comfortable sleeping. Otherwise, everything fine. Also, It is a little bit expensive compare to other cottage . Thank you
