Beach house vacation rentals in Cardiff, Encinitas

Location was the best, only few houses down to the steps to the beach. Endless ocean view from kitchen all the way out to the patio. And yes Dolphin sittings every day. My 3 year old loved it. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. One thing to note (must be able to walk up stairs to get to unit)

This place is amazing!! The best views, the best walking, and the spaces in the house are perfect for a group. We made dinner in and watched the sunset every night. We also brought our 6 month old son and it was a great location to be “nap trapped.”

We had a wonderful stay at Stephanie’s home. The proximity to the beach was amazing and Moonlight was a 10 minute walk. We appreciated all of the beach towels, chairs, toys and wagon. Close to good restaurants and overall a peaceful and friendly neighborhood.

This Airbnb has everything that you could possibly need and while it is a studio, it's actually roomy. There's a large, very comfortable king-size bed, but it doesn't feel like it takes up a lot of space. The couch is a pull-out bed as well, and it’s long enough to for somebody that's 5'6” or smaller to be able to sleep on it. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need including ice cube trays and a light underneath the microwave. So, it feels homey. There's a bar that has five chairs facing the strandway where you can see the glimpses of the ocean. There are plenty of plugs for gadgets. There's a closet that has all kinds of linens. Anything you could possibly need from extra blankets to extra pillows, extra towels. In the kids' room, there are bunk beds that are large enough for an adult to sleep on the bottom (5’6” or shorter). The bathroom is has nice lighting and a window that opens up the street. The patio outside has plenty of space for two to three people to sit.

My girlfriends and I had an amazing weekend at Logan’s house! It was the ideal getaway for our annual Mother’s Day trip. The home was just as described and only steps from the beach. We adored the decor, especially the pink accents, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We can’t wait to come back!

Casa de Las Olas is an absolute gem. It has nine skylights offering abundant light, views of the ocean so close you can see seals playing in the waves, and a sanctuary of home in an otherwise bustling coastal town. The location is phenomenal, along the coastal walk area of San Diego-La Jolla Underwater Park and Ecological Reserve, with equal distance to wildlife sightings, dining, art galleries, and shops. Additional highlights include dual shower heads, a fireplace to warm the cooler coastal evenings and mornings, elevated ceilings, and all the unique character of a renovated cottage. It is the perfect size and location for solo travelers such as myself.

The place and host are fantastic. Me, my fiancé and dog really enjoyed ourselves. Dan was quick to respond to any questions we had. We would give 6 stars if we could. Highly recommend staying here. We will be back.

from start to finish John went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect for us. Great neighborhood, he gave us excellent suggestions as to food and Things to do. Will stay there again.

Vanessa’s place was nothing short of amazing! The location is just unbearable. A walk to the beach/boardwalk, 5 min from Seaworld, 20 min from downtown. Near Mission beach and Pacific beach, surrounded by great restaurants. I could go on and on. It fit my family of 4 plus my mom and stepdad perfectly. We enjoyed the pool during the day and hot tub at night. The house has everything you could possibly want or need. We would absolutely stay there again and plan to!

The unit was well equipped having everything we needed. Owner was helpful and proactive. We didn't have any issues. The community deck over the ocean was fantastic. The beach here is wide enough to never have to worry about low tide or high tide. The unit provides a private stairway to the beach, while it is also a distance to get to for the public, resulting in an amazing beach with no crowds. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place! Especially if traveling with kids. Very clean and has all the comforts of home. The yard is a bonus for letting little ones play. Mari was helpful and accommodating and easy to communicate with. My family was actually set to stay at another one of their properties but at the last minute, (and due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control), we were unable to stay at the original booking. But Mari was quick to reach out to me and was very helpful at getting us booked at another location. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

We stayed at Pete's place because it has a gorgeous pool (the pool slide was a huge hit), is close to Del Mar racetrack, and is close to the beach/ocean (you can see the ocean from the front yard). We took our two Bichons and felt safe and secure letting them out. We have family in San Diego and had a small family cook out on Sunday. The grill was awesome, and there are lots of fun things to do on the property, front and back yards. We didn't take advantage of the jacuzzi, but it was already heated up. Since the house doesn't have air conditioning, there were fans in the family room and bedroom. Large kitchen, so you can cook and bake if you don't want to eat out all the time. The house is single story, but outside there are lots of levels where you have to go up and down some single steps,so small children would need help and elderly or disabled folks may need help, too. Pete gave great directions about how to access the main entrance, and the self check-in security code.

Our stay at this property surpassed our expectations in so many ways! The photos didn't reflect how beautiful, clean, spacious, and private our airbnb was. There was so much for our family of 7 to enjoy during our 3 day stay, together & individually. Our kids enjoyed swinging on the swings, going up on their loft to get the beautiful ocean views, lounging around in their pool, and walking around & exploring all the nature that surrounds this home. We were really impressed with the Spanish modern design of this home and the cohesiveness of the modern and traditional design elelments-it made for stunning photos! The host resoonded promptly to every one of our question; they reponsed within the hour to every one of our questions.

This place was better than we were expecting. Perfect spot over the beach. Watching sunsets, sealions, dolphins and birds right from the patio. The patios are fairly private concidering your beside each other. This unit is nice because you can see all the way up the beach. We usually stay away from condos due to noise from other people but this condo was quiet, even though we had people above and beside we barely heard anyone due to the concrete floors. Nice pool, and hot tub. We didn't really use the tennis or basketball courts. Everything inside and outside was clean and well kept. Best thing was the view, 2nd best thing was this unit is actually a well stocked air bnb. There was plenty of dishes, kitchen ware, uten toiletries, soap etc Easy 4min walk to beach and 6min walk to restaurants, coffee shops etc. And the beach and neighborhood seem fairly classy and family friendly. Wyatt was very fast to answer any questions we had. We would definitely stay again

My family had a wonderful stay at Jon’s house! The location is close to everything but also quiet and peaceful. We all enjoyed the beautiful pool and beds were very comfy, not to mention a beautiful kitchen to cook in. We didn’t want to leave!

Fabulous! We booked the home in order to house my wife and I and 3 of our adult sons, their spouses and our three grandchildren, to attend our 4th sons wedding in Encinitas. Every couple and child had their own bedroom and available bathroom. We stayed in the adjacent casita with all amenities. The spacious home was perfect for all of us! Oh and the grounds were wonderful as well. Plenty of room for the toddler to play on both the front and back lawn with beatifically manicured landscaping. The proximity to downtown and the beaches was excellent, just minutes away. We have an active family and everyone was able to walk, run or stroll the babies along the residential streets. Would highly recommend!

A perfect beach town getaway. My wife and I had a fantastic time staying here. The place was clean and well furnished. We felt very comfortable, and the hosts were super responsive, flexible and accommodating. Thank you!

Our group of 6 had an amazing time at this gorgeous historic home! The unique details and rooftop views were so impressive, and the location was perfect—close to great restaurants like The Waverly. Check-in was easy with the keypad lock and host was highly communicative and instructions were easy to follow. Highly recommend this beautiful spot for a memorable stay!

Our stay was everything we hoped for! Beautiful location close to the beach, market, and restaurants. It was a joy to explore on foot and immerse ourselves in the area. Jolanda and Frank's home is so comfortable, clean, and well stocked with everything we could need. Their thoughtful touches and helpful recommendations made us feel right at home.
