There is no way to accurately describe the views of the Tuscany countryside from this wonderful villa. The updating of the house left nothing to be desired. Indoor and outdoor amenities are perfect for a large group or family. It's a great home base, as it's centrally located. We took day trips to Assisi, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Monticchhiello, Pienza, Siena, and Orvieto. And so close to the hidden gem of Bagno Vignoni - don't skip it. Kathleen was one of the best hosts we have ever had. From recommendations and directions to introductions to chefs and wine tour guides. She was quickly responsive to all of our questions throughout the process. You will love everything about this place. We would definitely go back.

Our stay at La Casa dell Abate was truly wonderful and memorable and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys beauty and comfort off the beaten path. From the moment we arrived, Allesio was welcoming, friendly, showed us around the home and offered tips on what to do. He will also offer you the opportunity for a pasta class or gourmet dinner which is prepared by their friend Francesco, in the private garden/outdoor kitchen. We really enjoyed this experience. Their home is beautifully decorated yet maintains the charm of the 16th century in which the village was built. We slept great in the peaceful surroundings and the comfortable beds with nice linens. We spent a long weekend at this place for a wedding-ceremony with our families The place is a lot more beutiful than you are led to believe by the pictures, but to be honest the thing that really did it for us was the constant care of Valerie. She was fast to answer questions and extras before our stay there, but during the stay she and the rest of the staff was just great. All of us fel very welcome and everytime we asked for something it was met with a smile. We could truly focus on our families and our wedding and everything else was just fast and easily taken care. If I could give more than 5 stars to the hospitality, Valerie and the staff I would. We are just ever thankful!

Although in a wonderful very old city the place was too small for me. Yes, this is personal, I am 1.80 thus moving around was a bit awkward. The bed was good. View from the little terrace none unless you enjoy looking at a very old medieval wall. The village is historical and the church its the most amazing insides I have ever seen. I feel blessed to been able to see this. Walking outside the entrance gate across the busy street is a restaurant with excellent pizza. When you come with a dog, be aware, I have never encountered so many vicious dogs in such a short period of time. My dog walks like there is nobody else around while the other dogs murderous growling like ready to kill.

The Wine Loft is incredibly peaceful and beautiful. The modern architecture is gorgeous and the views are magical. We traveled by trains and it was easy to take a taxi (arranged by the Wine Loft) from the station. Additionally, we enjoyed walking the country path through the woods and meadow to Bagno Vignoni. We highly recommend this beautiful property. The wines were a phenomenal addition to the stay.

This home was incredible. The hosts are beyond friendly and communicate quickly and are so helpful. The house is comfortable - the kitchen is outstanding - and we ADORED the town of Orte. absolutely would love to visit again some day!

The apartment is quite basic but cool (it was very hot outside), comfortable and clean and is in a quiet area but very close to the main street with shops, bars and restaurants and the train station (very convenient for those who want to go to Rome). A decent and convenient accommodation.

I've never found so many services offered in one place. Eliana was immediately available to provide us with a camping cot with all the essentials and a high chair for our one-and-a-half-year-old girl. The house is full of children's games and books that my baby immediately plundered! In the kitchen you have everything you need to make tea/herbal tea and pasta, while the bathroom is full of products for everyone! Eliana also recommended activities and restaurants nearby, super approved accommodation!
