Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Cape Charles

The residence was exquisite. Its age results in creaky floors, a challenge to control due to its antiquity. Ample space and natural light are notable features. However, the rear door's locking mechanism could be improved with a deadbolt. We are unfamiliar with the area and noticed the absence of curtains or blinds in the living and dining rooms, which raised privacy concerns at night. Nevertheless, Alicia responded promptly and accommodated an early check-in. We appreciated the provided toiletries and soaps.

We made wonderful memories at this beautiful place. Would definitely recommend!

Our stay at Small Dream FantaSea was nothing short of amazing. Kevin and Joan have thought of everything and our family immediately felt right at home. Packing for our trip was so easy, given how much was already at the house (towels, chairs, sand toys, games, soap, detergent, toilet paper, etc.). Our girls loved rides of the golf cart and we were at the beach or at the shops/restaurants in no time. We love how close we were to Central Park and made many visits to play cornhole or go to the playground. This was our family’s first trip to Cape Charles and it certainly won’t be the last. We are so grateful to Kevin and Joan for all they do to make it a great vacation!

OBSESSED with this place and Cape Charles! The house was really very large. We had 6 adults and 6 kids, and there was plenty of room and sleeping areas. The house was immaculate, was lots of fun, and had everything you need, and the yard was amazing--firepit (with wood), string lights, big yard for kids to run around, quiet/calm street, and a park down the street. The beach is definitely walk-able, but there is also plenty of parking of you have a lot of stuff to bring. Emily was EXTREMELY responsive and kind, including a response back immediately when we messaged at 8 PM asking about a light switch. And Cape Charles is absolutely amazing. If you have never been, you need to go. The beach is shallow (great for kids) and very clean, all the other people were very nice, tons of fun restaurants, ice cream places, and breweries/distilleries. This house, this host, and this beach are absolutely amazing, and we will be back!!

We enjoyed our stay in Cape Charles. This house is the perfect location to the beach, the shops, and the park. We had a large group so we especially yappreciated the large kitchen, dining room, and multiple living rooms. Thank you!

My wife is a bit of a planner so scheduling a last-minute getaway is not something I do often, but I'm so glad I did. This was exactly what we needed, A few days away from the stresses of life and family. This home met all of those needs. It was quiet, secluded and overall a very beautiful location and home. It had everything we needed and more. The small towns of White Stone and Kilmarnock offered many fantastic food options which we definitely took advantage of. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. We have already started looking to see if we can plan a trip here with the whole family. Thanks again to our host who was very responsive and helped answer all of our questions.

This was was a great spot for us to relax on our way home from OBX. The house is big and comfortable and we felt right at home. We managed to get to the Bethel Beach Nature Preserve (nearby and on the bay), Haven Beach (recommended for swimming), and we went to the farmer's market. We met a number of locals who were all friendly. We wish we had more time to try out the kayaks.

So glad we found this gem of a location and grateful to our hosts for sharing it with us! Was the perfect quiet weekend getaway for the two families that stayed, and plenty for our tweens and teens to do. We enjoyed fishing and crabbing from the dock and appreciate the generosity of the hosts allowing us to use the SUP, kayak, etc. Laura was very helpful in all communications, before and during our stay. Would definitely stay again!

The place was clean, comfortable, and quiet, making for a very relaxing stay. Everything was exactly as described, and the host was responsive and accommodating. I highly recommend this place if you want to feel right at home! I will definitely rebook again!! :)

This Airbnb was perfect for a weekend getaway. The place was conveniently close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The apartment is pristine and I felt very comfortable and safe during my stay. The bed was very comfortable too!

Anne's place was just spectacular! Perfect for 2 couples as our home-base to explore Williamsburg, Yorktown and Jamestown. The high end furnishings are beautiful. The patio, yard and lake view were wonderful. We enjoyed the theater room each night. Thank you for a great vacation.

Kelly's place was immaculate. Kelly went out of her way to help us with all of our things. We had a boat dock. Kelly had everything we needed from water to shore power. This is a one of a kind place to stay, very clean, furnished beautifully and the view is outstanding. Kelly great job all the way around . Thanks for having my fishing team. Thanks Donald

Great spot in Bay Creek for a family stay! Quiet neighborhood, convenient to “downtown” Cape Charles by golf cart, and comfortable furnishings and living space in the condo. Would stay again!

The apt was perfect for our needs! It was clean and had everything we needed. The fireplace was so cozy on the chillier nights. The cafe below is super cute. There is a small park for dogs right around the corner, which was very convenient. Overall, we loved our stay and will definitely be back.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Roshana's place! From the moment we arrived, Roshana made us feel incredibly welcome. The accommodation was exactly as described, if not better. The space was spotless, well-decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Roshana went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. The location was perfect, close to all the attractions and restaurants, yet in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Communication with Roshana was seamless. She was always quick to respond and very helpful with any questions I had. I truly appreciated her hospitality and attention to detail. I highly recommend staying at Roshana's place if you're visiting Norfolk. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip!

It was a wonderful stay in an absolutely gorgeous location. The back deck has an incredible view of the marshes and it’s very quiet and peaceful. I appreciated the lack of electronics during our brief stay. Kyle (the caretaker) was very helpful with recommendations of what to see and do and was immediately responsive if we noticed something missing like towels or paper towels. Maggie is very on top of answering questions and coordinating check in times. I would definitely stay again!

This AirBnB was amazing! The line of communication from the day that I booked to the day we left was so comforting. I had messages on the day of arrival, checking on us and then received a welcome message as soon as we arrived. We walked in to a perfectly clean and beautifully decorated home, that even offered snacks, drinks, and many supplies that made our stay so easy. G-I even gave us a recommendation for pizza delivery. The furniture and decor was inviting and so comfortable. The view from both the upper and lower decks was relaxing and the patio furniture offered a wide variety of options. Hampton is a smaller and quiet town and was very easy to navigate. We spent time at the beach, which was not busy and the parking was close and free. We also drive to Norfolk and Virginia Beach. The drive was not bad and we seemed to be centrally located to allow easy access to the major roads. All in all, this rental made our stay easy and enjoyable. I am going to be back in this area in April and if I need the space and comfort that this rental offered, I will definitely be rebooking.

Pictures did not do justice home is absolutely beautiful !! The pool was suppose to be heated but it was not that was disappointing for my kids and grandkids i wish they would take that off the website because that's the main reason I booked this home .I wanted them to be able to swim because they all love to swim . And the price to travel back and forth between the homes location and virgina beach cost you 32 dollars a day during the week and 42 dollars on the weekend but I will say Kiptopeke state park is right there and my kids and grandkids rode bikes down and found some really cool sea shells. If you ride bikes that are provided at the house its free to get in if you drive it's 7 dollars a day to park . But like i said the home itself was absolutely gorgeous . The barbecue place was a good place to eat. The shanty down town not so much . But there are some cute shops downtown to walk through.
