The home is bright and cozy, with efforts made to keep as much of the original 1890's charm as possible. We're family owned and managed, and it's our priority to help you have the most relaxing and enjoyable vacation possible!

The interior decor creates a modern coastal feel to fit the style of the home. Creek views can be enjoyed from every window of the home and from the loft bed. It features a full kitchen with quartz counter tops, a fully tiled bath, outdoor shower, large front porch and a quaint back yard with added privacy fencing. Enjoy our fire pit with twinkle lights strung above.

Waterfront Guesthouse II on the Rappahannock

The “Beach House” is a guest cottage at Snug Harbor, a 2 acre private property overlooking the Rappahannock River and Chesapeake Bay. Perfect for a couple’s getaway, this well-appointed cottage has beautiful water views and includes access to our private beach & dock (with guest slip) with use of our paddle boards and kayaks. The cottage’s 1st floor features an open liv/din/kit area, full bath with large shower and a covered patio. The 2nd floor features a large loft bedroom with a queen bed.

We provide fresh linens and towels for your stay. In the shed, you will find lots of items for the beach, a wagon, and bikes which we are happy to share. There is no congestion, crowds, or large commercial beach resorts here. Experience the exact opposite at Courtyard Cottage, steps away from a quiet, peaceful beach surrounded by sand dunes for a special getaway. A park across the street offers playgrounds and pet-friendly walks, and a local farmers' market opens from 9 a.m. to noon. Saturdays, May 4 - Nov 23.
