Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Cape Breton Island

My husband and I had an incredible stay here in Bras D'or. We loved the area and accessible to the Cabot Trail. 2 nights was not enough and we'd so love to come back!! Sharon thought of everything and more! This place was the perfect stay for our little escape. We played board games, bbqd and had a bonfire overlooking the river. We're so grateful for your little slice of heaven!

I can’t imagine anyone giving this less then a 5 star plus rating. Beautiful home. Coffee, tea spices and even fresh cream in the fridge! Lots of towels, firewood and beach supplies. It felt like home if my home was spotless clean. Dave was a great host. He got us fresh lobster and even cooked it for us. Could not ask for a better place and will definitely be back and have recommended it to everyone we talk to

We just returned from 10 days at Ocean Hideaway in Pleasant Bay. This place is just magical. It sits on a cliff overlooking a vast bay of water where we often saw whales, seals, and dolphins. The sunsets were spectacular every evening! The house is just off the main road but completely secluded, quiet and inviting. Daniel provides all sorts of personal touches from a coffee bar complete with an assortment of syrups, caramels, mini marshmallows ,and chocolates; to extra thoughtful amenities like tooth brushes and tooth paste. The kitchen is a fun space to prepare anything from morning coffees to full blown dinners. We wish we never had to leave!

We were in awe of absolutely everything during our stay. Could not stop talking about how perfect everything was, the views, the place itself, and all it included. Host was very friendly and quick to respond as well. This is by far one of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed on the island and I already can’t wait to come back. 10\10 recommend.

Everything looks just like the pictures, very clean and well cared for. Beds were super comfy, kitchen was well stocked, including little kid plates, cutlery and stool which my four year old was so excited about! Appreciated the wifi and smart tv, could stream and cast to tv with no issues for those rainy movie nights. My husband played the Cabot Cliffs, your about 20 minutes or less from Inverness. Nick is also a great host, I asked for recommendations on where to go to eat, and the recommendations were awesome. Wow what a view from the wrap around deck. Had coffee out there a few times! It’s a special place and easily one of the nicest Air B and B’s we stayed at on our tour of the Maritimes. Would highly recommended. Thanks for the great stay:)

This place was charming, tasteful decor, great energy, enjoyable space. Great layout, spacious, and can utilize back and front sitting areas and loved the hot tub and fire pit. Nice supply of base essentials. Thank you Brandon for being so helpful and accommodating.

The lodge was beautiful. The location was so peaceful and with amazing views. I would love to come back one summer and see the area in a different season. Michael was a fab host and we throughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks so much.

I booked David’s place last minute, and even though it was after 8:00 PM, he responded right away and had everything ready for my arrival. The space was spotless, easily the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. It was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, very quiet, and nicely decorated (my mom especially loved the decor). Highly recommend!

First of all, I have to thank Damian for giving us such a wonderful experience. I must say the house was even better than the pictures. Everything was neat and clean, and the view from the balcony was absolutely stunning — especially during sunrise and sunset, offering a breathtaking view of the harbour. Damian was great to communicate with and responded very quickly whenever we needed anything. If I ever travel to the area again, I would definitely choose this place again!

We had a wonderful time in Cheticamp. John was helpful for suggestions about hiking and restaurants. I would highly recommend his beautiful place.

We booked Kathryn’s as a night out. Unfortunately my husband ended up on call all weekend and I ended up having to go into work myself for a few hours. Kathryn was accommodating to allow us to park his work vehicle in the driveway, and we were able to get in and out easily. The apartment was cozy, and comfortable. It was a great stay for us aside from both of us having to work, and it had everything we needed.

Great place, just as described, much bigger than the photos show. Had everything we needed. Fabulous view from the deck complete with sunset! Short walk to restaurants and shops. Met by Maurice and Valerie who were great hosts. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area

Beautiful and clean accommodations with a very kind and friendly host! The apartment is larger than it looks in pictures and had all the amenities we required. We had a baby crawling around, so we appreciated having such a clean place. Sally and her husband went above and beyond in greeting us with homemade muffins and wine, offering local tips and even cooking us some local lobster! The house is a little bit of an extra drive in, but it was worth it for those peaceful views. Sally and her husband live just upstairs and were always accessible if we needed anything. Thank you so much again for a lovely stay!

Place was very modern and spacious. Kitchen was well equipped. Great view of the coast. Rick was very friendly and responsive. We really enjoyed our 3 day stay. I give this place top marks.

We enjoyed our stay in Port Hood. Wish we had more time there to explore Cape Breton. Very easy to gaze out at the water and lose track of time.

Fara’s home was AMAZING. We loved our stay, it is so peaceful there, her home was sparkling clean, with everything we needed and was really well equipped compared to Airbnbs we’ve stayed at before. Fara was an amazing host, responsive, great communication, left us even a thoughtful treat. She gave us many recommendations about the area and was also quick at responding to our questions. I also really appreciated that she allowed us to come with our Golden Retriever. If we go back to Ingonish, we’d for sure want to stay at Fara’s home again. One more thing that we loved was the waterview from the balcony and the beach access, the beach was beautiful! Thank you again for everything and for hosting us in your beautiful home! 🌊☀️🦮🥾
